Disney's adaptation of The Snow Queen. The very basic synopsis is that instead of a girl rescuing a boy from the titular queen as in the story, a girl will be rescuing her sister from herself, kinda (since her sister is the snow queen). This will be released sometime later this month. I have mixed feelings about it. Some aspects of it sound interesting, but others sound, eh, dumb.  

What do you all think? I will probably go see it, because the part about Elsa sounds decent, and to see if all the negative criticism I've been reading is warranted.

I have some questions that I'd like to ask concerning my mp3 player, to see if anyone here has any answers or advice.

First off, I'd like to know how long the lifespan is of an ipod. I've had my 5th generation ipod for 7 years now, with no major problems (apart from one song not playing properly <_< ) until a few months ago.

The second question concerns that problem. Around May I had noticed that the sound was only coming out of one side of my headphones. At first I thought that I just needed new ones, so I replaced them. However the problem was still there. By manipulating the headphone jack I am sometimes able to hear out of both sides again, but I have to hold it tightly and sit very still or the problem comes back.

I will admit that it is entirely my fault that this happened.   I tend to obsessively overdo things, and that includes making sure plugs and jacks are firmly attached, and I am sure that I pushed the jack in too hard.   . So I guess I am asking if this can be fixed at all, or should I get a new mp3 player?

As most members already know, there is an almost complete lack of LBT behind-the-scenes material. This movie and its distributor just don't have the documentation that Disney has about pre-production art. However, one book that I have in my collection has a few pictures that I hadn't seen before, and I thought it would be nice to post them here for fans to see.

If anyone else has pictures from books, magazines, or other printed publications they are welcome to add them.

They are a little small, but this is the biggest I could scan them.

I am going to watch the heck out of this movie when it comes out.  This is honestly the first movie in a long time that looks really great to me.  It has Celtic themes and archery, which are two things that I am interested in!  
There have been a lot of people who don't like the way the main character (Merida) looks, but I have to say that I don't agree with them.  I'm kinda glad that she looks different than past Disney/Pixar characters.  

Is anyone else planning on seeing this too?
