What Animals does everyone like?

I'm thinking of renewing my list of animals I love myself. Though I have to admit, I'm like Pangaea where it's not whole classes of animals I don't like, it's just those few individuals I may not like. And while I don't really like ticks injecting lyme disease in people, I understand that ticks are there for a purpose and I've grown to respect these little buggers(literally and figuratively).

I'll have to admit though, for some reason I feel strange calling human beings "animals", I don't have any religious preference to it or anything...it just...doesn't feel right to me. Though it might have to do with me being in an Evangelical Christian school for almost four years, even though I am home schooled away from them, I had exposure towards them and their beliefs and understand that some Christians in other sects don't call themselves animals. I can see why, the bible doesn't call human beings animals, at least not from what I know, but anyway, that's another topic.

My favourites are owls, crows, squirrels, jerboas, butterflies, foxes, horses, seagulls, small cats, big cats, eagles, hawks, lemurs, and many more. But in most cases I prefer fictional animals over real ones.

Frogs
Birds (mostly Cranes, Eagles, Hawks, Woodpeckers and Owls)
Gators
Dragons (if it counts, even though they're mythical creatures)
Cats
Dogs
Fish
Dinosaurs (even though they're extinct)
Platypus
Bears
Monkeys
Snakes
Hedgehogs
Echidnas
Bats
Insects (mostly the praying mantis)

My favorite animals include:

Cats - My pets, but especially Cheetahs, Lions, Cougars, Snow Leopards, and Pallas Cats.
Red foxes
Deer - White-tailed deer and Fallow deer.
Dinosaurs - Theropods of any kind, but I like pretty much all of them.
Seals and Sea Lions
Thylacines
Quaggas
Birds - Chickadees, Mourning Doves, Hawks, and Emus.

I tend to like any extinct animal, mostly because I want to know what happened to them, and also because you can't just walk outside and observe them anymore.

My personal favorites are parrots, birds of prey, sharks and many bony fish.

All animals, but there is definitely an all-time favorite for me: the alligator snapping turtle.

Okay, before anyone freaks out, let me just say I used to volunteer at a museum, ergo I got to handle all the fabulous animals, even got over my fear of snakes.

Reptiles - SNAKES! Geckoes, turtles, monitor lizards, dinosaurs too, mostly theropods :3

Lagomorphs - wild hares

Insects - butterflies, katydids

Arachnids - crab, argiope, orb weavers, one type of funnel webster (H. Formidibilis)

Avians - corvids, cranes, owls, pretty much all raptors (yes, including vultures), swans, some songbirds. Not too much inclined to parrots, they're pretty malicious

Marsupials - opossums (these things are to-die-for cute!!), kangaroos, pademelons

General Mammals - cats, ferrets, foxes, rodents, chinchillas

Bats - flying foxes mostly

Reptiles: dinosaurs (derp!), crocodiles, boa constrictors, turtles (the little ones in ponds lol so cute)

Insects: Rhino beetle, Bumblebee (SO CUTE), praying mantis, ants (the non-evil kinds)

Arachnids: Crabs I guess. Some spiders are cute (OTHERS NOT SO)

Some frogs are cute lol.

Avians: PENGUINS, lyre bird, various birds of paradise, Owls, eagles,albatross, those antarctic terns or whatever they're called.

Marsupials: Thylacine (R.I.P.), kangaroos. Are armadillos or their cousins marsupials? Ant-eaters? I dunno but I like those too.

Flying foxes are also awesome lol. and some other bats

Personally, my favorite group of animals is mammals. Both land and sea.
Short lists::::::
Aquatic: Orca (<3), blue whale, sperm whale, humpback whale, dolphin, etc.

Oh, these aren't mammals, but I like sharks too.

Land/Partial Water: Wolves/Foxes (they're tied lol), dogs (german shepherd, etc), river otters, horses, meerkats, panthers, jaguars, lions, elephants, hippos, jerboas, the list goes on

Fictional animals? Dragons are the bomb

Insects

Stink bugs - despite the name, most are cute and harmless
Ladybugs - cute too, and in addition very useful to man (it's a shame people kill them with indiscriminate pesticide use)
Madagascar hissing cockroaches - very cool
Bees
Bumblebees
Moths - I know this is a huge grouping, but I don't know enough to be more specific
Stag beetles

Vertebrates

too many to list, I would highlight the bonobos, our peaceful close relatives

I LOVE mustelids! Absolutely my favorite kind of family! Stoats or short-tailed weasels probably come in first for me. I like how they can change their coats from brown to white in the winter and then back to brown in the summer. That's just so unique to me, and I've always loved otters as well. They're still one of my favorite types of animal.

I like reptiles as well, with geckos and salamanders (amphibians) and monitors being particular favorites. Newts (amphibians) are cool too.

I also like members of the mongoose family, like meerkats.

Hmmm... also, pangolins. Those are rather awesome mammals.

And of COURSE, dinosaurs!

There's something appealing about those little slinky-like bodies :3
They're territorial little buggers and they go absolutely mental when another one crosses the line.

I love every kind of animal, but crows will always be my favourite. They're intelligent, and look awesome too.
