Not sure if this was done already.

There are many music playing programs available out there, from iTunes to Foobar, from Winamp to Songbird, from Clementine to Amarok. What one do you like to use the most? What is your personal favorite?

For me, hands down it's Songbird. I used to use Windows Media Player, and before that Winamp. I didn't like the updated Winamp so I went with Windows Media Player. I forget what circumstances led me into trying Songbird, but I'm glad I did.

Songbird has a great look in my opinion, and I love the addons that you can download for it. My personal favorite addon I got for it lets me download lyrics for each song and save them so whenever a song plays I can see the lyrics. I haven't bothered changing the skin, though, because I like the default skin just fine.

How about you guys?

Windows Media Player. I've always used it, for listening to music, watching dvds, so it's the one I'm most familiar with. My second choice would be RealPlayer.

I use winamp, an old version, since it takes up little ram I'd guess & I've been using it for a long time.  I use another program for videos.

VLC or Media Player Classic, neither of which were in the list.  You can't get better and easier than light little players like that.  Just organize your files into folders any way you want and double click them to play them.  No opening up bloated iTunes or Windows Media Player, which both run slow and like crap unless you've got an amazing computer (which admittedly I do have, but why waste CPU cycles on a simple music player?).  If I have to click a program and tap my fingers on the desk waiting for it to load up, it's a piece of bloated crap and I find something else.  Decent programs should start in 2 seconds or less unless they're very large like Photoshop.  And even Photoshop should start in 4-5 seconds.

Depends on what I am looking for. If I want to listen to stuff I already have, iTunes is it. But if I want something spontaneous, Pandora. If I know what I want but want to listen to the whole thing before buying: Spotify.
