Hello fellow Land Before Time fans! In a way, I'm both an old and new fan of the LBT movies. I saw the first movie and some sequels ages ago, but I recently watched the first movie again and remembered how good it was.

It is this forum that actually reinvigorated my interest in the movies. And it is by  reading this forum that I found out that a TV series had been made! And tons of other info...

Since I feel I can contribute to the forum too, I decided to join, so that I may learn from, help, or just chill with other members. I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

I'll give some backround info on me as well. There can't be any harm from that. I was born and live in Croatia. I'm 21, male, and I'm a student at the Zagreb University, though I'm not a Zagreb native, but come from a small town in the east of the country. I'm a natural science guy, but also a romanticist.

That's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon!

Welcome to The Gang Of Five, jansenov! :DD Glad to have you with us. :smile

Your story reminds me a lot of how I got back into LBT, by the way. So which of the sequels have you seen already?

Ducky won my heart as soon as I saw that scene where she met Littlefoot for the first time. She's the cutest character ever! And I like the first movie the most. As for the sequels, I don't know, it's been such a long time since I saw any of them. Perhaps the one with the mysterious island.

Welcome to the GOF jansenov :)
It is always a pleasure to welcome new members to our community. And personally I'm especially delighted whenever the GOF becomes more international. You are our first member from Croatia :)
I spend my summerholidays 2000 on the island of Rab (did some land before time aquarelle pictures there). Which subjects are you studying in Zagreb? Natural sciences I presume if you are interested in them?
I studied history and Anglistics myself (I'm from Germany).

Me and my mother spent a month in Hamburg in 1991 with my relatives. I was too little to remember anything, unfortunately. I was latter told I made friends with some German kids and even learned some German songs. I re-learned German at a latter age by watching Super RTL.

I study pharmacy at the Pharmaceutical-Biochemical Faculty (FBF). You studied at some Faculty of Philosophy, right? Respect for finishing it! I was told many times that it's not the smartest who finish university, but the most persistent ones. Not that I'm saying you're not smart. :DD

I'm older than the country I live in.  :lol I was born in 1989, and Croatia declared independence in 1991 and was internationally recognized in 1992. I still have my birth certificate which says I was born in Socialist Republic of Croatia, part of the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia.

And thank you Petrie for the welcome!

Sorry for the delay in response.
My sister is living in Hamburg. The world is small, isn't it?
As for history studies there is an independent historical faculty at the university for the study of history while the English Department of the university would be a division of the philological faculty. Looking back at my studies I think the first two semesters were probably meant to deter those who didn't really "mean" it and just wanted to study "something", so to that degree there may be some truth about what you were told about persistence. But neither persistence nor intelligence are out of place at a university ;)
But I'm really most interested and devoted to studying history from a very young age on, so it was rather easy to remain persistent.
