If you have aany way to get pics from a game or something, feel free to share it here.(http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h315/spitfireace/dauntless.jpg)  I captured this image from Flight Simulator 2004.  I was flying a TSB Dauntless over Salt Lake City at dawn and thought it would make a pretty picture.

Another Dauntless pic.  Notice I was flying with the cockpit open because pilots often did that while flying those old planes.  This Dauntless saw action at the Battle of Midway.  I downloaded it off the internet from Simviation.com.  This picture shows a beautiful view of the valley below.  I'll scale down the next pic because these seem too big.

Here's a Halo glitch I found in the last level of the game.  I blew up this grunt with a plasma grenade and he landed in that position on the table.  At an angle he looked like he was sitting. I call it: WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO SECONDS?!?!    :lol  :lol

Nice pics F-14 Ace :) They did a good job on making it look like real landscape, while keeping low detail levels.

And Cyberlizard, that pic is perfect!  The way he landed just fits the description so well, he really looks like he's sitting at the Cafeteria table, waiting for seconds. Gold! :lol

I can change the settings to make the ground textures even more realistic than that.  Just that it eats processor space like heck.

LOL :lol Sounds like what I was doin. I was messin around at the beginning, trying to find a way to kill captain keyes without getting locked in there with those supersoldiers. I even managed to have an Elite follow me in there and he started shooting one of the guys. but after he died, I somehow just got transported in there and they still killed me! Must've known I sent the elite in there :P:

Check out this beast!  That big plane is a C-5 Galaxy.  I mentioned in the airshow thread that I have walked through one of those monsters.  They are so wide, you can drive three 18-wheelers side by side through it.  The black plane can carry up to 36 people, just to give you an idea how big this SOB is.  It is bigger than a 747.

Its from Flight Simulator 2004.  All the planes I have shown you so far are military planes I downloaded off the internet.  There are also some beautiful classic planes I'm going to show you that came with the game.

This next plane if the Ford (yes Ford as in the car company) Trimotor.  It was the first plane designed just to carry passengers.  It flew during the late 1920s and actually flew till the early 80s.  The plane had 3 engines as you can see.  A few people still use them for private flying.  I am flying  this plane over the rim of the Grand Canyon.  Btw, this is one of the planes already on the game.

Yup.  You can fly anywhere in the world.  I saw a cool download that will make Hawaii look like it didin the 1930s or how it looks today.
Here is my highly realistic Mig- 29 Fulcrum flying over Utah.  kind of odd seing a Russian fighter in US airspace ain't it? :lol  :lol

The only thing about that mig it that when you push shift + E, you eject.  it is cool up until the plane spins out of control and crashes because the pilot just punched out.  No way to fix it either.  You have to reset the plane.  Say, if you get the game, I can tell you where to get add on planes.  Go to Simviation.com.  They are free and you don't have to register.  You can find military, passenger jets, general aviation planes and a varity of helicopters as well as awesome scenery.  I have scenery including the Battle of Midway, an Austrailian aircraft carrier, and a cool base I made myself.  I made it using an airport builder.  I'll post a pic of it later.

Title: Game pictures
Post by: F-14 Ace on July 17, 2006, 05:50:59 PM
Yup.  I have bombers, historic planes, civil avaition planes and fighters and helicopters.  I happen to have B-52s, B-17s, and a Russian TU-95 Bear bomber.  (fighters are cooler though.)

Post by: F-14 Ace on July 17, 2006, 06:18:49 PM
Sorry.  They have missiles but they are just for looks.  Some can drop the bombs but they don't blow up.  But yes, the game is cool.  It isn't really meant for combat.  If that is what you want, then get the latest version of Combat Flight Simulator.  Flight Simulator 2004 doesn't support weapons. I have a Tornado Gr.4 with a firing machine gun but it doesn't blow anything up.

I think I actually have this game. I remember playing a Flight Simulator game a long time ago and it was like incredibly hard to fly the plane (It showed it from the inside). Don't know if it could have been 2000 but I think it was 2004

Isn't that the Round Table from Ace Combat Zero?  From this side,
it looks a lot like it only the Round Table doesn't have that much vegitation

Very cool :D Btw I like your sig pic, F-14 Ace :P:

Well I got some cool screenies from F.E.A.R. B), one of my current favorite shooters!

Here's me blowin the crap out of a soldier  The picture looks weird for 2 reasons...1: I'm in Slow Motion so everything (mainly the sides of objects and humans) kind of smudge as you move. It looks very cool in gameplay. And 2: The grenade lets out a shockwave that distorts everything around it (you can see by looking at the couch next to the soldier :lol)

Here is a little area which I thought looked very creepy and atmospheric. It's too bad there isn't a way to turn off all the hud stuff (eg: Health, weapon, grenades, etc.) since it would make a pretty cool photo :p The gun I'm holding (Can't see it since I'm in the shadows) is a sub machine gun, or so I believe (Can't exactly remember which gun I had but it seems to be that one.). Dunno just felt like pointin that out

I now have weapon effects on my flight simulator.  I found rocket and bomb effects for Flight Simulator 2002 but they work just fine in 2004 as well.  You just copy the effect files into the game's effect folder and edit some lines in the configuration file of whatever plane you want to use those effects in.  If anyone wants to see some pics, just let me know.

Here are some screenshots from the new Ace Combat game, Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception.  It is the one for the PSP only.  Therefore I can not play the game which sucks big time.  The game takes place in 2020 so that explains the high tech stuff.  It looks like there is some kind  of laser weaponry.

The Su-32 Strike Flanker is a variant of the Su-27 Flanker.  The Su-32 is designed for extremely long-range missions that can take a very long time.  The plane has a very arge flight deck.  There are two seats in the cockpit side by side.  Behind the cockpit, there is a room with a bet, simple kitchen, and a toilet.  One crew member can cook a meal, go potty or rest while the other flies.  After all, who can sit in a seat for 24 hours?  This jet is designed to fly anywhere in the world with the aid of mid-air refueling.

Here is the area behind the cockpit mentioned above.

There are four views in FLight Simulator.  There is the 2d cockpit panel, the 3d virtual cockpit, the external view, and the tower view which shows what the plane looks like from the control tower.  Here is the amazing virtual cockpit of the Su-32.

Hey everyone!  Here is something really cool!  I have been whining about how there was no F-22 for Flight Simulator with a virtual cockpit.  Well, DSB Designs made a payware F-22 with a virtual cockpit and some other cool stuff.  Now, I found that they put the F-22 on their freeware page so I got the DSB F-22 for free!  It is awesome!  But the coolest thing is this!  Below is the DSB F-22 painted to look like Mobius 1's F-22 from Ace Combat 4!
Mobius 1 is the character you use ion Ace Combat 4.  I think it is really cool to use it in Flight Simulator.  I also have a Falken and an X-02 from Ace Combat 4 anf 5.
I'll post more later.

Here I am being a pirate in the Caribbean! Yo ho! Actually, this is the USS Bonhomme Richard, John Paul Jones's ship from the American Revolution. This is a nice ship with firing cannons and everything.  They make ships for Flight Simulator by saying they are float planes and then making them too heavt to fly.
I also have the USS Constitution if anyone wants to see pics of that.
