I usually keep my bowling videos to myself since I use them for self-coaching, but I figured I'd show that I did manage a 288 game during practice today. Yes, I'm a drawl and not very exciting, but I know what I'm doing. :P: ;) Oh, and the soccer ball I used on that final shot isn't mine, and it didn't fit properly (no idea why I did use it on an otherwise good game).

That¥s so great!! How long did you practise for that???^^

Well for that day, I only took five practice shots before I started the camera (four of them didn't strike and left one pin), and I only do this to later watch and coach myself how to get better...I never record and hope for perfection...it just came that day. There's always something to analyze and I saw a couple of interesting things. :)
You also need to realize I've bowled regularly for ten years now and I know a lot about oil patterns, equipment, speed, etc. Like I said, in those five pracitice shots I figured out where not to stand and changed it right after I hit record and it was a good move. Then its just repetition until you leave something. ;)

Cool, my fathere bowled for some years. I learned a lot from him. And bowling is one of my favourite sports^^. Mayby I¥ll be some day so good like you :lol

Just to verify, I messed up on the scoring. :slap It was only a 267 game. The electronic scoring was in the middle of a game and I just miscounted how many in a row I actually had. :P: Still decent.
Nim, takes lots of practice indeed. Start with balance and timing, then your release of the ball, then worry about throwing hook shots. ;)

Hey, thank you for the good tip. Want to try it next time :)

Aww man! The link expired before I got a chance to see it Petrie! :( Reckon you could renew it so I could have a gander at your bowling expertees :D
Mind if I join ya in a little show and tell of sporting achievements?
I'm a fan of the all ever-exciting (and sometimes down right dangerous) sport of gymnastics and trampolining. It's the only sport I can say I've ever really stuck with. I've got a couple of videos posted up online that I wouldn't mind showin' you guys if you're interested... the link's below. It's just a few vids of me doing my trampolining routine, my first attempt at a vaulting move called a Tsukahara (pronounced sue-ka-harrr-ra), and a quick lesson in "what happens when you apply too much rotation to a back somersault"...

....oh! And if that doesn't interest you. I've randomly got the Kingdom Hearts 2 Opening video in Japanese, if you wanna polish up on your Japanese Pop career :lol

For Littlefoot1616...I reuploaded a small piece of the original file. My connection is being very unfriendly to the upload and its crashed on me once already. You'll get to see two shots. I was taking it pretty seriously that day. I'll usually at least talk to myself. :P:
