Title: Must move within 10 days

Bad news. My parents forgot to pay the landlord, and he has terminated our lease and demanded we move out of the residence in 10 days. I don't know where we're going to go or what we're going to do. I may disappear for a while after the 10 days are up, and I don't know when I'll be coming back.

I'll update the information as it comes.

An update. Dad thinks he has already found a place we could live, and it's not too far away from here. Here's the description:

Another update: The house that dad found was already taken unfortunately. However I did make a mistake in how long we had. We actually have until the end of March, so that gives us more time to find a place.

 Well, at least the landlord gave you more time, afterall, 10 days is far too few time to move.

When my aunt has extra money, she pays for the rent in advance because she's very forgetful.  She's already paid for 17 months and she's only been where she lives for 10.  Perhaps if you have extra money, the rent is where it should go first if your parents tend to forget things like that.  Best of luck finding a house.  It really sucks to move. -_-

Yep yep yep.  Moving does suck <_<.  Growing up in a Navy family, I've had my fair share of moves.  I feel for ya, DH.  Do ya by any chance have a wireless connection?  Maybe ya can still chat with us no matter where ya are during the move :yes.  Best of luck.

Can you please explain me the situation? Actually, my family once haven't paid taxes for two monthes, and there was no any punishment for that. Just a warning from the fiscal inspection. Of course i don't know the situation with this question in other countries... :huh:

I don't know much about finances in this house. My only guess is they were late paying other rents in the past and this was the last straw.

Update: Clint has found at least 5 houses for rent in the newspaper. They're big enough and might allow Cheyenne. So far though we haven't checked the places out.

We think we found a home, but I'll have to wait and see if this is going to be the house we'll be living in. It's very close by, only a couple minutes away.
