Allo sat down, watching his grandchildren play with some of their friends. He wondered where the time had gone at times. He could remember his daughter playing as a toddler. Now she was married with her own kids. At times he wondered if he'd get to see her grow up while he was on the earth.
Just then his grandkids started to gather around him.
"Can you tell us a story?" one of them asked, some others agreeing with a yes, or a "story, story."
Allo laughed, "All right, which story would you like to hear?" He asked looking at them.
"How about the earth." One of the kids said.
"Yea, you were there like forever." one of the kids said.
"It did seem that way at times." Allo said laughing a bit.
"Yea, before there many billions of years ago." Another said.
Allo laughed again, "Not quite that long ago, though it does seem like that at times."
The kids gathered around in front of Allo. He thought for a moment. Some of his friends he had not heard from in quite a while, and not just the ones from the earth, but a few here also. Including the former secret scouts who had chosen to move to Reptilon, a thing he'd not have suspected any would want. Not that they all did, most did not.
"It started one night. We had gone to Earth since the Group of Tyrannos lead by Rex had headed there and we had to stop them. I had gathered a group myself of Dinosaucers and a few part time Dinosaucers and went to the earth. Unknown to me at that time our Mothership had been seen by a group of teenage humans. But I'll come to that in all due time." He said pausing a moment before he continued his story....

Many years ealier..
THe Mothership sank through the Atmosphere, with Allo at the Controls.. Aboard the ship with him were 5 other Dinosaucers, each doing thier own things. Allo steered the ship down slowly, looking for a good place to land.. land preferably..

Paul was looking in the telescope that Ryan had brought and was looking at the moon. "This is so cool. I'm totally going to get my own telescope." he said, at the moment it was aimed at the moon. "The Craters look like they are just a short distance away."
Paul continued looking at the moon then he stepped back to look up, trying to decide what to look at next. He thought he saw some sort of movement. "What is that?" He asked squinting his eyes to get a better look. "Can't be the space shuttle, man, that thing landed already." Paul said. He swung the telescope around and used his hands as he learned to get an idea of how to capture the image in the telescope and used the view finder thing on top of it to help also. He adjusted some nobs till the image came in clearly.
"Man, I ain't seen nothing like this. It can't be from here." he said, studying what looked like some sort of alien craft. "I gotta get a better look." he said. He looked up and studied it to guess where it may land and headed off in that direction. He planned on getting close enough but would look for a good place to hide to observe what was going on, not just run up to the ship after it landed since whatever was inside may or may not be friendly.

(ooc: Not taking all these Dinosaucers, just testing out some & doubt they'd all be silent during this time while they are on the ship. So others can feel fine to take them or rp them. Paul though I think I'd like.)
Tricero looked at the sensors and took another reading, frowning a bit. "Looks like some life forms are down there. I hope none of them are of the sentient variety." He said. "And they are not looking in our direction." He fiddled with the sensors, "Diffidently mammals. That seems to confirm that this is mainly a mammal planet." He refined the sensors even farther, "Some of them seem to be sentient life forms."
"We'll know soon enough I suspect." Dimetro says also taking some sensor readings from where he is. "Diffidently mammalian sentient. The only sentient species on this planet."
"If they have seen us they are not raising the alarm on any frequency that I can detect." Icky said from his station.

"keep to your stations" allo said. " We don't want to attract too much attention. We're here after REx and his Tyrannosaurs, we're not here to bother whatever lifeforms may be living here.. "

"Not sure how we can avoid attracting attention. A large ship not of their technological level." Dimetro said.
"At least with all the transmissions we know they are of a tech level so they'd not see the Tyrannos or us as gods or something silly as that." Icky said.
"But they are not use to fellow sentient not of their species, a dangerous time. They are more likely I would assume to shoot first and maybe get around to asking questions in a few months time, if they ever do. They may be extremely xenophobic." Tricero said.

Paul kept running in the direction of where he thought the ship may land. He started looking for a good place to hide once he got near so he could see what it was and what they were up to. I wonder what they'll be like. What they'll look like. I just hope it doesn't end up being to dangerous doing this. But I cant' just sit back during a time like this. Paul taught to himself.

"Its possible they could be xenophobic, they could be any number of things : Allo replied. "Which is why we need to avoid them as much as possible, our job id get rEx and his goons off this rock, and the sooner we do it, the sooner we can go home..

"Yea, I'm missing home already." Icky said.
"I think I'm picking up something. To small to be the Tyrannos." Tricero said.
"Maybe a local out for a late night stroll or hunt. I read they are omnivores." Dimetro said. "hard to tell if he's seen us or not." He said looking at his more detailed sensors, though they could not cover as wide of an area as Triceros his were more capable of doing detailed scans over a smaller area.

Paul continued to follow the ship, or whatever it was, as best as he could. It could fly far faster then him, but he did his best to keep it in sight and to run along the same path it was going in, slowing down so he didn't tire himself to much.

Just try and get away from it" Allo said. the last thing we need is us being noticed.. secrecy, secrecy..' he stressed ..

"Maybe some countermeasures to distract him, some flashing lights and noise makers." Tricera suggested.
Dimetro nodded, "Those may work. Hopefully we can use those to distract who and whatever that is down there." He said. He typed out some commands. "Distracting countermeasures are sent. They will go off once they are near where the individual is and should have him go in a different direction from where we are headed. Hopefully whatever it is will loose track of where we are.

'If we can get our invisibilty shield up.. but the atmosphere is prevenntinbg us fromnmactivating it, so we're unable to hide ourselves..' Allo replied.. "3000 feet and closing" He said as they approached a small lake. He pressecd a button. " Activating uinvisibility." The ships glowed, and to the observer it appeared tp vanish..

"It could be the increased atmospheric pressure and heat from reentry causing that." Dimetro said.
"What we also need as a nice mountain or some rocky ground or something like to so we can partially hollow it out and establish a base." Tricero said.
"And suitably away from any inhabitants or regular trade routes and that sort of thing." Dimetro said.
"As long as it's not icky like tarpits 1 is." Icky said making a face that was obvious he thought of the idea of a base under tarpits to be an icky idea. He was talking about the Tyranno base, or at least the one that Rex's older sister used on Reptilon, and that he, Rex, used while he was on Reptilon.

The distracting countermeasures went off not far from where Paul was, just harmless noise and a few flashes of bright lights. Then a sound like someone laughing like a maniac for a second or 2.
"What?" Paul said looking in the direction of the flashes & sounds.
Once they had gone off they broke themselves apart so there would be nothing to find or reverse engineer, and the components were designed to biodegrade normally so would not harm the environment.
Paul then tried to find the ship again but could not find it. "Aw man, I list it. What could have made those odd noises and flash though?" He asked. He tried to find what had caused the noise and lights but couldn't. He then paused to think what to do next.
"Paul wait up. I got the others. None of us should be running around here alone." Ryan said with the others behind him.

As the kids decide what to do, the ship flew lower and lower. it flews just over somww lowlying hills, which screened the ship from even, as it did,, the engine suddenly died, and the ship fell rapidly towards the hillside. it crashed into the hillside cutting through to a cave which was located underneath the hill. the impact threw all of the Dinosaucer of thier seats..

Tricero got up, rubbing part of himself that had hit the floor. He was lightly bruised but that was all. "Did we run out of fuel?" He asked.
Dmetro sat up, "Perhaps the stablizers or something else like the retro rockets went out. Is anyone hurt?" He asked looking around.
"It doesn't look like it. Thrown around a bit but no one I see looks seriously hurt." Icky said looking around as he set up from where he had fallen.
Demetro went over to where his usual station was as best as he could and tried to see if the ship's systems were still working to try to get a status and damage report if he could.

"I say we try to find where that ship or whatever it is landed." Paul said.
"& get lost?" One of the others said.
"I have a compass and a flashlight." Paul said showing what he had. "Ryan isn't the only one who knows to come prepared." He said.

Allo got to his feet. " LLets head outside and see how bad the damage is.. " He said.. ' I think we ran out of fuel. Tricero, wasn't it your job to make sure we had enough fuel for this trip?"

"I thought I had calculated and stocked enough for a trip here, back and some extra." Tricero said starting to get up and brush himself off.
"Just let me get my reptool belt." Dimetro said as he went to a compartment next to his station and pulled out his tool belt and put it on. He made a few checks to make sure his tools had enough power to float around, and the reading on his belt comfirmed they were properly charged. "Ok, I'm ready to go outside."
"What'll we do for more power?" Icky asked.
Tricero thought for a moment. "It can't be any external structure since that can be easily attacked unless we use at least automated defensive systems." He said.
"There is geo-thermal power, depending how deep it is. This planet must have a molten core, which means geo-thermal will be a possible energy source, along with others." Dimetro said.

"Well, I guess we should investigate. " Ryan said. "They may need help of some sort, or we can just get some more information and then decide what to do. But we should stay together." Ryan said.
"Let's get going. I think it was heading in that location." Paul said.
Ryan took out his compass and looked at the direction they had traveled in so far. "Ok, let's go." He said before they set out.

Allo climbed iout anf looked at the ship. 'we sure did a number on it, the left side of the ship is ripped open. ' he looked around at the surroundings.. "Theres potential here We could use this cave as our base...' He mused looked up at the stalamites

Dimentro looked around, "It'll take some rework, but it could be a nice location for a base." He said.
"and being inside a natural cave it'll be more concealed from the locals." Tricero said. "It does have it's advantages."

We just need to make improvements so it sealed off from the outside world. Remember that secret cave system on Rathor. It was so skillfully concealed that you couldn't see the opening, even when it was right in front of you..

Dimetro nodded, "Something like that may work here. Modified where necessary." He said looking around. ""With time we should be able to do that, and get this ship repaired and a nice base set up." He said.
"We will need a suitable security system and sensors. Or else anyone could just walk in, or sit outside the base and spy on us without us knowing." Tricero said.

That is true.. Well need to start work on that immediately.." Allo nodded.. "lets start unloading..' He said turnbing and heading back inside the ship..

"Where will we put what supplies? We can't just stack them anywhere." DImetro said as he headed back inside.
"The essentials first I'd say, and last the other fun stuff like tail decorations." Tricera said, also heading inside the ship.

For nowm only bring out what you need. ' Food, supplies and the like" Allo replied. "We have time to get everything else later, for now, just take out the basics.."

"And water vapor extraction also, along with water purification." Dimetro said, heading back to the ship.
"Basic survival stuff sounds like first. Then organize it into logical places. Then maybe some other stuff." Tricero said going into the ship as well, heading to the area where the survival equipment was packed & kept. He and Dimetro started to unpack it, with Icky going into carry the boxes he could carry outside. Tricero and Dimetro carrying some as well. They put the crates and boxes to one side, with the labels in facing the same way so it was easy to tell what was in each one.

'Each of us needs to take something with us, while we explore these caves" Allo said. " anyone have a light?"

"I have one in my reptools." Dimetro said.
"I always keep on in a pocket in my uniform." Tricera said, taking his out.
"I know I have one.." Icky said as he searched his pockets, "ah, here it is." Icky said as he took his light out.

Light them, and lead the way, we need to explore this cave.. we need to know how big it is.. how far back it goes, that sort of thing" Allo said, following them..

Dimetro took his out first, turning it on he held it as he moved it around the cave. Tricero and Icky did likewise, moving their lights around to get an idea of the size and shape of the cave, what was in it, and other information.

"this looks to be a pretty big cave" Allo said, looking around in the light from the three lights..

The 3 still continued to shine their lights.
Dimetro nodded, "It is. We need to find the safest spots to dig and build a base. Can't just build anywhere." He said.
Tricero nodded, "We may add structural supports." He said.
"That may be incorporated into the walls and ceiling and such." Dimetro said.

"Try and find out which of the stalactites and stalagmites( Stalactite is down going up, stalag is up going down) are the sturdiest and can support the most weight" Allo said..

Dimetro nodded and took out a few tools, leaving his flashlight to float in the air and continue to project light ahead of him. He used his sonic tool and a sensor to check each stalactite and stalagmite, marking with the equivalent of a pencil his estimated reading of roughly how sturdy each was and roughly how much weight each could possibly hold.

Paul and his friends continued to search for the light in the sky, ship, or whatever it was and where it possibly may have landed. They continued in the direction it had been going in.
"I wonder where it is, or how far." Paul said aloud.
"Or if it just left altogether." another said.

"pick about 12 of them, to use' Allo said, stopping before a particular large stactite.. 'This looks like a good study one.."

"I'll do do a bit over 12, just so we have some extras." Dimetro said, "Always useful to have some extras." He said amongst his scanning.
Dimetro continued testing each one and putting the results of his scanning onto each one & entered the information. Tricero went around and made sure the information for each was properly entered while Icky did his best to try to measure each stalactite and stalagmite and enter that information.

"Once you are done with the measurements.. hook things up to them, so we can start making this into a residence' Allo said..

Dimetro, Tricero and Icky worked till they were done. Then they went to the supplies and started working on unpacking and putting the things up on the best stalactites and stalagmites, some things against a wall, and other places to try to get the cave they were in a bit more civilized and easier to access the supplies and equipment.

"This way." Paul said, leading the others in the direction he thought the ship thing he had seen had gone in & a good looking place to rest in. "We can rest in a few minutes." He said. "and decide what to do next."

'Nice work guys, looking pretty good..' Allo said approvingly.. "any questions?"

"When do we start on making a design for the base?" Dimetro asked.
"Yes, the sooner that is started the sooner we can have it finished." Icky said.

We'll start in a n hour, for now, take a short break, and we'll get a bit to eat, " Allo replied. "Icky, you did stock the food fridge, right?"

Icky nodded, "Yes. I stocked 2. 1 for herbivores and one for carnivores. Thought it better that way since some don't like how the other type of food smells or looks." Icky said.

I'll make myself a herbie hero sandwich.. anyone want some?' Allo asked. " Otherwise I'm eating all of it.."

"I'll have some meat, but no plant food." Dimetro said, being a carnivore.
"And fish." Icky said, "Great." He said.
"I'll eat the green food instead of either of you eating any." Tricero said smiling.
"Sounds like a good deal to me." Icky said joining in the joking.

Allo handed a ham to Dimetro, a salmon to Icky, and a salad to Tricero," Here you go guys, enjoy.."

"Thanks." They each said, accepting the food Allo offered and started to eat while resting.
"Better then I remember it tasting." Dimetro said.

When was the last time you tasted it?' Allo replied resting against a stactite and taking a bite of his sandwich.."

Dimetro finished the bite he had taken of the ham. Then he rubbed his jaw, "As I pretty near recall it's been a few weeks or so I think." He said. "I like to try some different types of meat now and then." Dimetro said.

It's good to experiment at times, eating the same thing over and over can get pretty dull, ship food, is not one of the things i look forward to on missions like this, Headquarters always sends us food that tastes a bit like fuerniture.. or thats how I've seen it" allo said.

Dimetro nods, "I've noticed that also. Perhaps we can supplement some of the food from a little from this world." Dimetro said. "though not much since humans are the natives here." He said.
"Like some of the fish." Icky said eating his meal that he had been eating on.
"& some of the plants here." Tricero said. "We can, perhaps, do a sample at some point after everything is set up and running smoothly."

"I wonder where they could have gotten to." Someone said.
"They can't just land anywhere. They would likely need a place that can hide their ship. Maybe a dense forest or a mountain or cave." Paul said.

good idea.. we can try some of the plants, around here, but lets try and avoid being noticed, the last thing we need is for humans to find us.."

Tricero noded, "I doubt they would say hello and would greet us nicely." He said.
"They well may scream and run away in panic or somesuch other behavior." Dimetro said.

running away in panic is probablt the most likely outcome.." allo agreed contining to much on his snack..

Icky nodded as he finished his meal, "More likely then saying hello." He said.
"Very likely, I agree." Dimetro said nodding.
"The are not use to seeing or being around other sentients." Tricero said.

the bad guys should have been there at least a little bit beforehand, because the Dinosaucers were sent to earth specifically to stop the Tyrannos..anf you are the gm of this rp Kor, what we have comes from you..

Rex looked around at the beginnings of their base. They had found a tarpits area with some sort of abandoned place not far from it.
"If only the discusting mammals were not infesting this world." Rex said partially to himself, his voice with disgust in it since he didn't like the appearance of humans he had seen on the computer screens, or mammals period.

Well, there are a lot of them boss, it wpould take all the weapons we had to obliterate them" One underling said. "Thats not our job idiot!' Another rebuked him..'

"We can deal with them when the time comes. We must focus on building this base first. " Rex said. "Then we can attack those Dinosaucers. They likely want to make friends with these disgusting mammals or something disgusting like that."

How do you know they're even here Boss" Underling #1 reoplied, in a simpering, grovely, annoying voice.

Rex shook his fist, "They better not be, if they know what is good for them." He said.

why is this place so important anyway?" Underling #2 asked. 'itsa a small unimportant rock.."

"It has resources we can steal, and it's a planet we can easily conquer. The mammals may make passable slaves, maybe. If not we can do away with them." Rex said.

"Simple enough.. there seems to be enough of them to make a good workforce.. or if they resist, a good snack..' Underling 2 said, with a evil grin..

"Precisely. They should make a passable work force. If not, well they can serve in other ways." Rex said in an evil voice followed by an evil laugh.

"so what can we use for spies and such? underling #1 asked.. "and why did we have to use the tArpits?'

"We can use terrible dactyl. He can fly and easily get in and out of places quickly." Rex said.

"Alright boss. But you didn'rt answer why we have to use these tarpits. THey smell terrible, for one' Underling #1 said to REx.

"Who would think to look for us here, or for anyone for that matter. It is a very good place to hide a base, just like on Reptilon where Tarpits 1 is." Rex said smiling.

the underling nodded. " Good point boss, so what do you want us to do now?' He asked. "I could go prepare dinner for you.. if you are hungry.."

"Good idea. Go and do that. Maybe the rest should eat also and then we can get back to making sure the base is fully finished." Rex said.

Yes, sir. Anything particular you wanted. Steamed Bronto ala king, again.. ? Thats usually one of your favorite dishes..' the underling replied/...

Rex nodded, "It is indeed. I think I would like some of that." he said smiling, enjoying the memory of having eaten his favorite dish in the past and savoring tasting it again.

I'll make you some as soon as possible, Sire, anything to drink?' tHe underling said sounding like a waiter..

"The usual I think." Rex said after thinking it over for a moment.

I'll see if we have it" the underlind nodded anf walked out of the room..

"I can wait." Rex said sitting down to wait and also to rest a bit and to think.

So what are your orders Chief?' the second underling asked..
_ Meanwhile tHe Dinosaucers had made progress in unloading thier ship.

"We should all take a break and eat and rest a bit then get back to work. Then we can plan what we'll do first about this world, after getting more information about it." Rex said.

Dimetro, tricero and Icky continued to work on the ship. Focusing on the most important areas first then working on other things in decreasing importance.

Theres a big gouge in the Ship over here" Allo said, pointing to large hole underneath the left wing of the ship..

"Did some kid or human throw a rock at it and do that?" Icky asked.

"No, I think its from where it hit the hillside..' Allo replied..

"AH, yes, I remember that. I should get that fixed." Dimetro said.
"yes, in case someone wants to go out for some fast food." someone said.

"Fast Food? Like those fast food places I've seen you frequenting at home ehDimtro" Allo grinned devilihly. "But our task here is noot to gorge ouat fast food places, our job is to stop Rex and his goons, from taking over"

Dimetro nods, " and one of us pulling up to a human fast food place may be not a good idea." He says, laughing a bit and some others joining in. "I guess I should start exercising more and eating less." He said looking at his gut.
"We'll have to stop Rex and his lackeys. I don't think they are to smart but the most stupidest person can still do a lot of damage." Dimetro said.
"Yea, a moron running with a club can do a lot of damage." Tricero said.

Very true.. so lets start setting up the command center.. Everyone take a section where he is most comfortable, and put it where he likes it.." Allo said

"Just be sure it can all tie in together." Dimetro said, picking a section to start to install himself. Making sure he had on his rep tool belt and including some floating tools that followed him around as he started working on it.
Tricero & Icky started on other sections. Tricero on one of the viewscreens and control areas with Icky picking some sensors.

Outside, the night was turned pitch black, the scouts had searched for hours, but with no luck..

"Guess we should make camp here then head back to the main camp tomorrow." Paul said. "No biggie, maybe whatever I saw burned up in the atmosphere."

The morning soon dawned, and the kjids gathered together again, determined to search the area anew for that strange object they had seen..
_Inside the cave. Allo had fallen asleeep in his room, they had worked late into the night before retiring to thier rooms..

Paul yawned rubbing his eyes before he put on his glasses.
Ryan was sitting by a tree watching the sunrise. He turned at the sound of Paul waking up. "Finally got up I see." Ryan said kidding Paul a bit.

Allo stretchedand yawned " Alright Everyone" He called out, lets get back to work.." Allo then realized he was the first one up..

Dimetro got up, yawning a bit as the others got up also.
"Morning .... already?" Dimetro asked.

Yes. Morning Dimetro. What are our plans for today?' Allo asked checking in on him.. "WE made good progress last night.."

"I'd like to check things over real quick to be sure we did ok before we go to the next step of putting in less necessary things and components." he said.

Fair enough" Allo nodded. " We can discuss it over breakfast " what do we have to eat?"

"Somewhat better then just rations since the food preservation machines are set up." Dimetro said said smiling. "One of things I put up last night. Better food, more healthy for the long run and helps with morale too."

Yes, nice work. have you set up the juice dispenser as well. I could use some juice" allo said..

"I did that last last night. Thinking some would enjoy the ability to have some juice. Little things like that can help the morale and make things a bit more fun." Dimetro said.

Excellent, i'm going to have some apple juice' Allo said getting up and heading over to the machine..

"That sounds good." Dometro said, waiting till Allo had gone.

' After Breafast we should explore this area, some more. we crashed late in the night.

"Certainly a good idea. Hard to see much at night even with those who have excellent night vision and lights or night vision goggles." Dimetro said.

Gather everyone together.. and when you search.. try and stay hidden" allo said " we don't want anyone spotting us."

"That'll be easier said then to do. Have you seen how tiny the inhabitants are here compared to us?" Dimetro said looking at Allo.
"I wonder if they have any furballs here. They'd be a help against the teranos." Icky said.

good point' Alo replied " But still, we don't want to make our presence known to the Tyrannos.' Allo added.

"That would be most dire and unfortunate." Icky said.
"I do hope we can prevent that as long as possible." Dimetro said.
