The local mall, once busy with people was now mostly empty, save for some surving straglers from the zombie outbreak.
Two people in particular a blond haired girl and a brown haired girl, had just ran inside after narrowly escaping an attack from a zombie, with the brown haired girl breathing a bit before speaking up "What the hell was that?" she asked her friend.
Her friend, whose name was Kyra, shook her head "I....I don't know really"
Kayla, who was the name of the other, looked outside to see a few zombies lingering around outside the mall at the moment "Well, whatever they are...." she begun, only to be interupted by another voice.
"Zombies, that is, if you've seen all those movies" it was the local gun shop owner, Vincent "Dead, walking around, groaning, trying to bite people"
"Zombies? You're kidding right?" Kayla asked with an arched eyebrow before she folded her arms.
"No, I'm not kidding, now, unless you want to stay here all alone, come with me" Vincent motioned for the two high school students to follow him into the mall, well, at least to the main area of the mall.
"So, where exactly is everyone else?" Kayla then decided to ask Vincent.
"Hard to say, they could be zombies, or, they could be somewhere else within this mall, it's possible" Vincent answered back.

Ratko was hiding behind a pillar armed with a AK-47 and several pistols on the second floor close to his shop. "Well seems like this will be like old times,' ratko thought.

As Vincent was walking with Kayla and Kyra, heading towards one of the shops, he looked back to them "How long has it been since you had last had something to eat or to drink?"
"It's been a while actually, not sure how long" Kayla was the first to reply as Vincent held up a hand for them to wait.
"Okay, I wont be long, I'll go and get you two some food together, so just stay in this general area at the very least" Vincent told them as he headed upstairs, walking towards Ratko's general direction, slowing down his movement as he kept his hands on his guns before pulling them out and aiming them in a direction.
He stepped towards the pillar before rushing around it and was about to fire when he noticed that it was just Ratko "Ah, it's just you" he spoke as he put his guns away "Glad to see you're not one of them" he paused for a moment before speaking once more "I found two straglers, survivors actually, care to join us? I was about to get them some food at the very least"

"Same here,' Ratko said lowering his AK. 'I'll keep watch while you get them some food,' ratko said.

"Good idea, any other survivors you do happen to see, send them downstairs to where me and the two girls are, unless of course, you're going down there too, well, whichever you do decide to do should be fine" Vincent said as he gave Ratko a nod and headed off for the food court.
Both Kayla and Kyra and grabbed a outdoor chair from one of the shops and put it down for at least something to sit on as Kayla looked to Kyra "Strange day it's been, I mean first of, we're going to visit the mall for shopping and next thing, some sort of zombie attack happens" she let off a groan as she leaned back in the chair.
Kyra just let off a small little giggle "Yeah, I know, but I guess one good thing about it is that we have the mall, pretty much to ourselves, except for what's his face of course" she spoke, unaware that Ratko was around as well, nor if there were any other survivors either.

Ratko looked at a map of the mall while keeping one eye on the entrance. "Well at least there are more than a few weapons on hand,' he thought lighting a cigarette.

Once within the food court, Vincent grabbed a cleaner's trolly, taking all the cleaning equipment off and started to place what food he could, that didn't need to be cooked either.
Kayla glanced over to Kyra before she spoke up "Well, if that guy gets back, tell him I'll be in that store over there" she told her, motioning to the electronics store before standing up and walking off into the store.
Kyra looked over, pausing for a moment before she got up "Wait up!" she called after her before running to catch up to her, following Kayla into the store.

Zaine had just slipped in through a back entrance to the mall. The zombies had not seen him, but he knew sooner or later he would be found. He kept his fingers lightly touching his handgun as he crouched behind a garden bed counter as he peeked over the edge. The hallway in front of him seemed clear, but in times like these he made it a habit never to assume anything was safe. After he confirmed it was safe, Zaine slowly stepped out from behind the counter and crept down the hallway.

Shorty had noticed the door that Zaine had slipped through, was closing and he took for it, getting in time before it could shut him out. He ran down the hallway and noticed Zaine not far "Yo! S*** man, you see that out there? Zombies! Flesh eating, brain drinking zombies man!" he called out to Zaine as he rushed over to him.
Vincent on the other hand, heard Shorty's shouting in the distance and decided to walk over to where the voice was coming from, pushing the trolly as well and noticed Zaine with his gun out "Put the gun away boy, there are no zombies in here" he called out to him.
Shorty looked over and saw the food upon the trolly "Aww s*** man, you got some munchies" and that's when he grabbed a packet of chips from the trolly, opening it up and begun to eat it "You got caught up in all this zombie stuff too? No s***, same here, I mean, first of all, I was at home, then some of my homies I noticed, were some of them zombies and they had even gotten my Grandma too, and you know, I thought, I needed to get the f*** outta there man and where better to go to then to the mall, I mean, man, it's common Zombie 101 facts, malls are always the safest"
Vincent looked at Shorty for a long hard second before speaking again "Are you on drugs or something by any chance?"
"What? Nah man, I hadn't smoked since half an hour ago" Shorty answered back as he continued to eat the chips still.
Meanwhile, Kayla was going through what DVDs were available in the store as she glanced to Kyra "Well, I thought that if we're gonna be stuck in the mall for a while, migh as well watch a movie or something while we're at it" she spoke as she pulled out a movie, The Dark Knight "Perfect"
"Yeah, I do have to agree on that one" Kyra replied as she looked through the channels on one of the TVs in the store, only to find every station not working, all with the same message on them 'Please Standby', to which she let off a small sigh and shook her head slightly as Kayla walked over, popping the DVD into one of the DVD players and sitting down in the available couch.
Kyra decided to join Kayla, sitting down on the other side of the couch "How many other survivors do you supose there are?" she decided to ask her friend, to which Kayla just shrugged back a little bit.
"Hard to say really" Kayla told Kyra as she slouched a little bit in the couch whilst the movie begun.

Zaine had known this guy for only a few seconds and he was already getting annoyed. While he kept ranting on and on Zaine finally looked at him. "Shut up!" When the guy stopped, he looked back towards the other guy. "You sure they aren't in here? The last "safe" place I was in turned out to be crawling with them." At that point, a loud banging sound erupted from a nearby closet. Without hesitation, Zaine pulled out his gun and approached the closet door. Not taking any chances, he opened the door and pointed at the zombie inside. Zaine squeezed the trigger right before the zombie could lunge at it. The bullet pierced its head and the monster fell to the floor. Zaine looked back to the others. "We should check this entire place. If any more of them are in here we need to get rid of them and fast. We should pile them up somewhere and burn their bodies."

Sergei was running.
And he had a good reason for doing so. To be more specific, he had a dozen reasons, which were chasing after him at this moment. Some called them infected, others called them zombies, but Sergei didn't have a time to wonder which name was more appropriate. He didn't even have enough time to stop and shoot all of these monsters. He would only killl three or four before the rest would get him. So he was running, trying to lose them, and shooting from time to time in zombies' general direction to slow them down. It didn't do much good to him though...
When he shoot out of the street, he had been running on, Sergei saw the mall. Maybe there he will find refuge, at least for some time. He sped up, hope (and obviously fear) giving his feet wings. After a few seconds he got to some side door. He reached for a handle, praying that it wasn't closed. Luckily, this door was unlocked. Sergei opened it and run in, closing it behind him. He did it not a second too soon, as the zombies outside banged against the door, trying to break it open, but it was too strog for them...

Ratko saw sergei enter the mall from his spot behind a pillar. Ratko aimed his AK at sergei and shouted with his distinct eastern eourpean accent "Halt!'

Segei stopped and looked up. He saw some man, who was pointing gun at him.
"Don't shoot! I am not one of those things out there! I'm a human." he shouted back.

Ratko tied a cord to the hand rail and slid down it while keeping his gaurd he walked over to sergei with his weapon lowered and checked him for bite marks but saw none. "Ok you're clear the food court is over that way you'll find some more people there but be careful I heard a gunshot from that direction earlier so keep your gaurd up ok,' ratko said.

"Yeah, sure." Sergei answered, looking around, but he didn't see any other people in this part of the mall. He decided to use his walkie talkie and see, if can reach some members of his team. He raised it to his mouth and turned on transmission button:
"This is Sergei. I'm... " he paused, not knowing which exactly mall he was in "...in a mall." He waited for response, but none came.
"This is Sergei. Is anyone out there?" he asked to the walkie talkie "Nicholai? Anderson? Does anybody hear me?" Still no answer. Sergei cursed under his breath. He could only hope, that his friends were too busy to respond or the walkie talkie had too weak signal. He didn't want to think of other alternatives...

Zaine overheard someone talking down the hallway. Still holding his gun, he rushed down the hallway, quickly looking left and right to make sure no other zombies would come after him. Luckily he didn't encounter any, but there were plenty of stores where one could be hiding. Zaine finally reached the main lobby area of the mall, and he found another person talking on a radio. "That thing work?" he asked.

Vincent looked to both Zaine and Shorty "Either of you two been bitten?" he asked them as he and Shorty rushed off after Zaine.
"Me? What? Hell no, I aint been bitten by some f***ing zombie man, what are you? Crazy? They bit my Grandma though, turned her into one of those zombie, bit huge gash, right around her neck" Shorty answered back.
"A simple no would have surficed" Vincent told Shorty back as he looked to Zaine, then back to Shorty "Do us a favour, go over there, there are these two girls, find them and tell them to meet us in the food court"
"Yeah, alright" was all Shorty had said back as he walked off in order to find the two girls Vincent was talking about.
Vincent looked back to Zaine once more "I'm Vincent by the way" he spoke, extending out his hand to shake once they had stopped. Vincent looked over to who was talking as well and eyed him for a moment before giving a slight nod to Ratko to know that Sergi wasn't a zombie.

Zaine shook his hand. "Zaine. I have no idea who the heck that guy is, but he's already starting to bug me. To answer your question, I haven't been bitten, and I intend to keep it that way. You said there were two girls here. How many more survivors are there?"

"So far, there's you and me, them two over there" Vincent begun, motioning over to Ratko and Sergei "As well as the two girls and that other guy I sent to go and get them, so that makes it 7 of us at the moment"
Meanwhile, Shorty was in the general area where Vincent had told him to go to as he yelled out "Yo! Two girls!? Anyone here!?" he called out.
Kayla, who was trying to watch the movie, groaned a little bit as Kyra, whom had layed down, laying on Kayla's legs, looked up to her friend "Who's that?" she asked her.
Kayla just shrugged back "You got me, so, just wait here, I'll go and find out what's with all the yelling" she replied as she stood up, pausing the movie and walking out of the store.
Shorty noticed Kayla walk out "Damn, you must be the sheila that other dude was talking about, he wants you and your little friend, wherever she may be, out in the food court"
"The food court?" Kayla asked with an arched eyebrow.
"Yeah, don't ask me why, I'm just one of them messangers yo" Shorty replied back as he stood there.
Kayla let off a sigh "Fine, okay, we'll be there shortly" she told Shorty as she headed back into the store "Kyra, come on, we've got to meet in the food court, don't ask me why though"
Kyra gave off a stretch as she sat up and looked over to Kayla before getting up and walking over to her friend before the two of them headed back out to meet up with Shorty at the very least.

Ratko took some food from a restraunt in the food court. "I never thought I would be in a situation like this,' he said.

Zaine nodded. "We better keep it that way. Too many people will attract attention. Those things can pick out human flesh too well." He looked out the mall windows. Some of the zombies had gathered outside, but there weren't too many. "So how long have you been here?"

Vincent nodded back to Zaine "Since the mall opened today, as I own my own store here, gun store to be exact, just like Ratko there" he told him, motioning towards Ratko as he then motioned for Zaine to follow him into the food court, pushing the trolly along as well.
"So, what's your story?" he then decided to ask Zaine as he took a seat himself, grabbing a tin of tuna and a teaspoon, opening it up and starts to eat it "Anything....interesting?"

Zaine sat down and placed his handgun in his pocket. "Well, I 'm a martial arts instructor, or at least I used to be. My parents are out there, most likely dead or undead. My dad was a retired soldier, so I know how to use a gun." He didn't really feel too hungry at the time, so he just stayed in his seat. "I found this mall, then motor mouth found me, then you found me. So here I am. What about you?"

"Not much to say about me really, came over here from New Zealand, got my Green Card and soon enough, I managed to open up a gun store here within this mall, that, and I also have firearms training as well" Vincent replied back as he continued to eat the can of tuna still.
Soon enough, Shorty had returned with Kyra and Kayla as he spoke up "Yo! Gramps! I got the two sheilas that you were after" he spoke as he sat down with Zaine and Vincent.

"It should, but I can't raise my squad. They are too far away probably." Sergei answered Zaine, straping his radio back into his belt. He followed others to the food court. When they got there, Sergei had been listening to others' talk for a moment, before he decided to speak.
"I don't want to interrupt your introduction time, but I have to ask, since you were here longer than me. Have you secured the mall? It looks like we will be staying here for some time, so it would be rather a good idea to make sure, that no zombies are here or can get in..." he said calmly.

"Well we might have a problem there," Zaine answered. "I found one in here already, which means there might be more hiding in the stores somewhere. The door I came through is closed, and I don't think they can break through the front door for a while." Of course, Shorty came by announcing what he had done. "Is there ever an off switch?" he muttered as he turned to him. "Look you want to help? Go back to that door we came through earlier and make sure it's sealed tightly."

'I'm Ratko Tito I was born in Serbia and served in the Bosnian war, I came to the us after the war and after getting my green card I opened a gun shop here.' "I also brought my weapons from my house here so we shouldn't worry about weapons since we have plenty,' ratko said.

"Well, I have made sure that all exits have been sealed off" Vincent begun as he turned to Shorty "You, whatever your name is..."
"Shorty, that's what my homies call me as well as my Grandma" Shorty answered back.
"Right, right, Shorty, do what Zaine said, go and make sure the door you had come through at the very least, has been sealed properly, we don't want any of those zombies getting into here" Vincent then told Shorty.
Shorty looked for Vincent for a moment before he got up "Alright, I'll do it, but if I get bitten by one of those zombie mutherf*****s, hell, I'll be blamming all this s*** on you gramps" he spoke as he stood up and begun to walk off "Yeah, go and check on a door, probabally get my a** bitten off as well" he spoke as he walked.
Both Kayla and Kyra took a seat and looked to Vincent as Kayla spoke up "So, you're saying there could be other zombies in here?" she asked him as she folded her arms.
Vincent nodded back to the two of them "It's possible, so we might have to split up and search the mall....you two know how to use guns?" he asked the two girls.
Both Kayla and Kyra shook their heads to which Vincent let off a small sigh "Alright, alright, let me think for a second then" he added on as he begun to think.

"I am sergeant Sergei Nikitin from GDS, at your service." Sergei said shortly, but with a small smile. It wasn't a time for more detailed introduction, he thought, but surely the other survivors needed to at least know how to call him. He turned to Vincent:
"Well... The rest of us can clean and sweep this place, while you two can stay here" he said, nodding to girls "It will take longer to search the mall though."

'Well some who does know how to use a gun should stay here to protect the girls while the rest of us search the mall,' ratko said.

"Ahem, we may not know how to use a gun, but I at least, know how to protect both, myself and Kyra here" Kayla told Ratko mainly "So, go ahead and search the mall, we'll be fine, just trust me"
Vincent looked at Kayla for a moment before he looked to the others "Well, you heard her, and for some reason, I do trust her on that one as well"
"Exactly, you don't need guns to fend of zombies, anything would do nicely" Kayla spoke again as she looked to Kyra "Speaking of which, I'll be back" she spoke as she got up and walked off.
"Where are you going to go to?" Vincent asked her.
"Hardware store, should be items in there we can use to fend of zombies with instead" Kayla answered back as she left the food court, heading for the hardware store.

Chuck at that moment in time happened to be inside the hardware store looking for another lead pipe since his last one had been bent from smashing in zombie heads for three days. "Oh come on...not a single one in here. What kind of hardware store is this anyway?!" he screamed at the top of his lungs forgetting that there may be others around.

Ratko ran to the hardware store to make sure there were no zombies there since he heard some shouting. "Hey you need a weapon,' he asked the person he saw when he reached it.

Kayla walked into the hardware store, but stopped, slowing down her footsteps as she reached for a nearby shovel and armed herself with it, that is, until Ratko came running in, to which she followed him and saw Chuck in the store.
She eyed him for a moment before speaking "You're not a zombie....another suvivor I take it?"

"Hey have you been bitten,' ratko asked chuck.

Zaine rolled his eyes as Shorty left. That idiot's going to get himself killed. Zaine watched the others head towards the hardware store, and then he heard the yell. Zaine rushed to the group and found another survivor. "What the hell are you doing?" he asked. "Do you want every zombie in the world to hear you?"

"Can you handle a gun,' ratko asked chuck.

Chuck knew that yelling was going to draw attention, but from other human survivors?! That was a blessing in itself. He listened to the questions they asked before laughing. "Can I handle a gun?!" he asked with a grin as he lifted his .357 Magnum. "Does this answer your question?" he commented before he looked to Zaine with a smile. "Cool, your jets kid. If there were any zombies around, chances are good, they'd be dead, simply for the fact that you guys seem to be hiding out here."

"Well, there's more of us back at the food court, well, three others, plus one other who was sent on another errand of his own" Kayla spoke as she lowered the shovel, yet, kept her grip tightened upon it "If you wish, you can join us"
Vincent looked to Kyra, giving her a smile, to which Kyra just smiled back, yet, she kept quiet at the moment, not really all that talkative, one could say she was more shy than Kayla was, granted, Kayla was rather talkative instead.

Zaine glared at him. "Oh really?" He quickly pulled out his gun, pointed it past Chuck's head, and fired. Behind him, another zombie fell to the floor. "Now its dead, but you would have been in a couple more seconds." He looked back towards Vincent. "I'm going to look around. There obviously some still in the mall." With that he turned around and walked out of the hardware store and headed down another hallway. Why did I have to get stuck with these people? They're all going to die sooner or later.

Chuck only glared at Zaine as he began to walk away. He knew the first thing about being in a bad situation was to never go off alone. He turned to Vincent and Ratko and replied, "I'm going to follow the kid. Just to make sure he doesn't get himself killed!" he then took off running after Zaine. "Hey Kid wait up! You can't go off alone in this place. It's just a bad idea."

"So Vincent you have a plan on how to get us out of the mall when we have no choice but to leave the mall,' ratko asked.

Zaine sighed as Chuck followed him down the hallway. "Look, don't take it personally, but do yourself a favor and go back with the others. They need you more than I do." Zaine came to a Gamestop and pointed his gun inside. Nothing moved, so he crept inside, still pointing his gun out.

"No, not yet" Vincent told Ratko "We'll sort that out in due time, don't worry about that one" he got up and walked over to the hardware store where Kayla was, leaving Kyra all alone in the food court at the moment.
Kyra just sat there, glancing around at the empty food court, giving off a small sigh "Um...hello? Where did everyone go?" she asked a bit loudly, but not really all that loud.

In the meantime Sergei went to the higher floor of the mall to see, if there were any zombies moping about.
"Well... Which store should I check first?" Sergei asked rhetorically, making sure that his weapon is loaded. he walked to a map of the mall and glanced at it...

Ratko walked off to search the mall. "Well I'm just happy we have people who have experience with firearms,' ratko thought.

Meanwhile, Shorty had approached the door he had come through earlier on and noticed that it was indeed, sealed tightly "You've got to be s***ing me, the f***ing door was already f***ing sealing" he begun to rant out loud as he turned and started to walk down the hallway when he heard a groan "Who's there? Hello?" he asked.
Out of the darkness staggered a zombie, groaning some as well "Holy s***!" he spoke, reaching into his pocket and pulled out a gun he had kept in there, aiming it at zombie before firing a few times "Mutherf***er" he spoke as he put the gun away, looking at it a few more times before he turned and walked off back to the food court.
He sat down to join Kyra, looking at her "Yeah, some punka** zombie mutherf***er tried to bite my f***ing a** off" he told Kyra, whom in turn, just nodded back to him "So, what's your story?"
"Not much really, I was meant to be coming here with Kayla to go shoping, then of course, there were now zombies lurking around" Kyra replied back "What about you?"
"You know how it is, working at the local supermarket, I get home, my homes are all one of those zombies, then they go and bite my Grandma and of course, I had to come here, Zombie Facts 101 b****, man, my boss is going to be so p***ed off on Monday" Shorty replied back "What's your name anyway?"
"Kyra...." Kyra replied back "And my friend is Kayla too" she spoke rather quietly, giving Shorty a quick little smile.

Raptko approached a book store. A zombie was in the store Ratko saw the zombie and put about half of the 30 round magazine in the zombies head.

Sergei went to the store, which was located next to and above the main entrance to the mall. He didn't encounter any zombies along the way, but it didn't mean there was none in the shops. When he entered the store, he saw two things. Dirst: it was a small shop with cellphones. Second: there was a one person, a man standing there, with it's back turned to Sergei. He aimed his gun at this man and called to him. The man looked in Sergei's direction and he turned out to be a zombie. Sergei didn't hesitate with pulling the trigger. The zombie man died (for the second time, one could say) from single shot in the head. After that, Nikitin searched a backup, but there wasn't anything that would be of any interest to him, so he grabbed zombie body and dragged it to the rail. Then, he throwed it down to the ground floor.

Ratko heard a thud close by and went to check it out. "Hey what was that about,' ratko shouted.

"It was a dead zombie falling from a height." Sergei shouted from above in answer "Could you start gathering bodies in one place, so we could burn them or get rid off them in some other way later?"

Kayla remained in the hardware store at the moment, shovel still in hand as she went to grab another shovel when she heard some shuffling behind her, turning to swing the shovel, only for it to be grabbed.
Vincent was the one who was "shuffling" as he looked to Kayla "Watch it with that thing" he told her "You could hurt someone you're not meant to hurt"
"Sorry, I guess I kinda got carried away" Kayla answered back as Vincent nodded to her "Who are you anyway?"
"Vincent" Vincent replied back, shaking Kayla's hand "But we'll have time for proper introductions later, just get back to your friend in the food court" he added on as he started to walk out of the store "It'll be safer if you're with her"
"Yeah, I guess so" Kayla added on as she indeed, grabbed a second shovel and headed back to where Kyra was, placing the second shovel onto the table, glancing over at Shorty as well.

"Yeah yeah sure,' ratko grumbled. Ratko was one to always follow orders like he had many years ago.

Zaine realized if there were any zombies, they would either be behind the counter or in the inventory closet. He crept towards the counter and quickly looked over. There was nothing there, so he glanced at the inventory closet. "Always wanted to go in there," he muttered. Chuck was still with him, so he glared at him. "If you want to help then come on. We gotta go in their and check things out."

Chuck wanted to groan at Zaines seemingly annoying banter. But he had to admit the kid had a point, and he raised his magnum and began searching the Gamestop for any potential zombies. "Ya know kid," he said quietly "You should be a bit more grateful I'm here at all.

Vincent in turn, walked off, both of his guns out as he searched another section of the mall himself, entering a nearby CVS, a pharmacy, moving his pistols in all directions as he slowly entered the store, heading towards the back of he store straight away and found two figures, both of them with their backs turned.
"Are you survivors by any chance?" he asked them, only for both figures to turn around and lunge for Vincent, to which he fired two shots, one from each gun, a headshot on each zombie before turning and firing a third shot at a third zombie that was nearby "Seems like I was mistaken, there are still a few straggling zombies around in the mall after all...."

Ratkop took a medical mask from his pocket and put it on his face before he dragged the zombie corpse to the center between the area where sergei and the other floor were.

"Well you should be more grateful that I just saved you back in the hardware store," Zaine shot back, "and trust me, if you hold me down I'm leaving you behind." Zaine kicked the door to the closet down and pointed his gun. He fired at two more zombies and quickly looked around. It seemed like there was nothing else in there, but Zaine had learned that looks can be very deceiving. "Let's go." Zaine stepped inside the closet, gun still pointed.

Ratko went into the store he was just in and dragged that zombie corpse to where the other one was and threw it on top of the other.

Sergei checked five other stores, in which he found a few zombies. After killing each of them, he throwed them down to the ground level like the first infected. Then he went to another shop, which turned out to be a pet shop. He entered it slowly...

Ratko continued to pile to dead zombies on top of each other.

Soon, Vincent was in another area of the mall, having killed at least one more zombie, throwing each of them off the balcony down to the first floor, looking down at how many zombies were now taken care of before he entered another shop to scope it out for any other zombies that were around, but this time, he found none in the shop.

Ratko continued to pile the zombies up. Ratko went into a auto parts store and took all the flammable items he could find.

Chuck followed Zaine and kept as quiet as possible to keep their whereabouts hidden. If there was one thing he hated more than zombies, it was being in the dark with the souless undead. He turned a corner and fired his magnum bringing down a zombie. He continued to look around while still following Zaine. "Hey kid. How did you end up here anyway?" he asked.

Zaine continued to search for zombies as he answered Chuck's question. "The same as everybody else who got here. I was living a normal life at home, and then everything changed. Zombies appeared out of nowhere and I was separated from my family. I made my way to the mall, and here I am. Not much to it, and I'd rather keep it that way." He found another zombie on the ground, pulling itself toward him. Zaine lifted his foot off the ground and curb stomped the zombie's head, crushing it.

Meanwhile, back in the foodcourt, Shorty was again, talking "Man, what a strange, f***ed up day this has been, zombies, world wide chaos"
Kayla just arched an eyebrow towards Shorty "You know, I'm amazed you made it this far, with your big mouth and attitude, I'm just amazed one of those zombies hadn't gotten to you yet"
"Well, what do ya expect? I know how to handle a gun" Shorty answered back as he placed his handgun onto the table.
"Does every black guy carry a gun around?" Kayla could not help but ask, to which Kyra let off a small giggle as well.
Shorty just looked to them as he sat back in the chair "Each of my homies had carried a gun, too bad they could not think to use a gun on one of those zombie mutherf***ers, which is why their a** is now a zombie"
"Yeah....man, where did all the others run off to now?" Kayla asked taking a glance around as well.

Chuck listened to Zaine's answer and thought for a moment. "Zaine, not to push my luck here, but what's your last name?" he was simply curious as he'd heard of a family being seperated during the mass panic of the zombie attack and they were looking for their son.

Zaine knew Chuck was only trying to help, but he really did not feel like sharing any more about his family. "It doesn't matter. My family is dead and I'm not. Let's leave it at that." Zaine decided that the room was empty. "This room is clean. Let's go meet up with the others."

Ratko doused the zombies that were piled up with motor oil and various other flammable liquids that he had found in the auto parts store.

Chuck sighed defeated.
"Fine. Where to next?" he asked reloading his magnum as he stayed behind Zaine to try and keep him safe. "I sure do hope we can find a way out of here soon. I've never liked malls." he whispered more to himself than Zaine.

Zaine lauged a little. "Look at it this way. You aren't in a school. That's not the best place to hide in a zombie apocalypse." He noticed the others were piling up the zombies they found in the lobby. "Ok then. We should take these zombie corpses out of the store and pile them with the rest of them over there."

"We should at least make a small hole in the ceiling,' ratlo said.

Kayla looked to Shorty for a long hard second "Do you ever shut up?" she spoke with a groan "Never mind, don't answer that, I'm going to go and help out the others.....anything to get away from you anyway" and that's when Katla took her shovel and walked off to another section of the mall.
Kyra looked over to Shorty as well before standing up "Wait up Kayla!" she called out and took off after Kayla, leaving her shovel on the table without knowing it.
Shorty just sat there "Alright, fine" was all she said as he grabbed his gun and walked off elsewhere into the mall, deciding to, for now, help out with searching for any zombies as well, entering the same pharmacy that Vincent had already cleared out. He looked through all the different perscriptions there were before coming across one in particular, grabbing it and shoving it into his pockets "Aint no way in hell I'm letting this stuff go off" he spoke as he then continued to search other areas of the mall.

Ratko went to look in some more stores for combustable material.

Chuck glanced at Ratko as he walked away before asking, "Are you all sure that's a wise move? Even if we somehow managed to break the dome glass ceiling without firing our guns, the sound of shattering glass will attract the undead for miles. I say we follow Zaines idea and move these bodies outside to burn."

Almost the same second Sergei entered the shop, someone put the gun against the side of his head.
"Don't move any muscle, soldier-boy, except for your tounge." somebody said sternly "Now... Tell me who you are and what's your buisness here."
"My name is Sergei and I'm looking for a zombies..." Nikitin turned his head slightly to look at the man, who was pointing shotgun at him. This weapon could do a big hole in his head, if it didn't shoot it away completly "...and now I'm also looking for a clean pair of shorts."
The other man didn't laugh at this attempted joke...

"Yeah We probbaly should but we would need other people to watch out for more zombies while we do,' ratko said. Ratko noticed that they were no more zombie being thrown down by sergei. "Hey Sergei what's going on up there,' ratko shouted.

"Who is this? Is this Ratko? The gun shop owner?" old man asked after Ratko had shouted.
"Yes, that's him." Sergei answered "Could you stop pointing gun at me? You can see I am not a zombie."
"Yes. That's why I didn't shoot you on sight. On ther begining I thought you might be here to kill everyone, zombie or human, but if you are with Ratko, then I think you are alright." old man said, lowering his gun "I'm Thomas Rivers. Forgive me for scaring you like that, but it's better to be safe than sorry."
"I can understand that." Sergei said, then he thought of something "I'm curious about one thing though. Why did you think, that I'm here to shoot everyone?"
"Well... You wear all this military gear, so you could belong to the army. And what army would do in the situation like this? It would make sure that this disease won't spread any further. That means killing everybody, who might get into the direct contact with infected."
"I'm not a soldier. I am a mercenary, Thomas. And as for this countermeasure you're talking about... I think it's already too late for army to put this plan into action, if they even considered it." Sergei said and then he went to the rail, so he could let Ratko know, that he is still alive.

Zaine frowned a little. "The only problem with moving the zombies outside is more zombies will become attracted because of the smell of human flesh. Besides, we can't effectively clear them out of here and move them outside. We don't have enough people to do that." He looked around to see if anything could be used to carry the corpses out, but there was nothing remotely close enough to what they would need. "We might have to just burn them in a corner somewhere, or maybe the roof."

Yeah but then we'd have to worry about defenses while those who are assisned move the zombies to whatever cornor they might be moved to,' ratko said.

Vincent soon, approached Ratko and glanced around "So, I take it the plan is to burn them? Because I do have to agree with everyone else, taking them outside isn't the best thing to do, I say, to take them to the garage area and burn them in there, that way, it's not actually outside, but yet, nor is it within the mall either, it's our best bet"

Chuck sighed quietly as he spoke up.
"I don't care what we do with these bodies, I just want them out of my sight. I can't stand the living dead." He then raised his magnum and scanned the area they were in just to be sure no zombies were sneaking up on them. "I hate malls....I hate zombies....I hate the apocalypse."

Zaine rolled his eyes. "Unfortunately you have to get over it. You're in all three of them." He spun around just in time to shoot another lunging zombie. "Maybe we need to check more of the stores before we assume all the zombies in here are taken care of."

"That sounds like a good idea vincent,' ratko said

Chuck sighed again as he voiced hi opinion.
"Yeah, move them to the garage, and leave ourselves open to attacks from other Zombies that might be walking our way. Even if we did get all of these bodies to the garage, there may be more active zombies down there as well. We're basiclly trapped in a cage with monsters....could this day possibly get any worse?!"

Ratko turned around suddenly and shot a zombie that was comming up from behind him. "Well it's either that or we burn them here,' ratko said.

Vincent thought for a second "Yes, it's true, we haven't checked the garage yet, so it is possible that more of these things are down there, however, like Ratko said, it's either burning them in here, or in the garage, it's safer than burning them outside regardless" he took a glance around "And where are two girls at? Whatever their names were" he had not actually caught their names as of yet.

Meanwhile, in an organic goods store down the other corridor, the store owner, named Angela Prescott, was hiding behind the register counter. She was trying to get her cell phone to get a signal.
"C'mon, you damn thing," she growled to herself. She kept trying to call for help, but she still got no signal. Just then, she heard something moving through her store. Angela quickly snatched up her weapon, a sawed-off twelve gauge shotgun, and slowly peered over the countertop. Nothing.
"Whew," she whispered in relief.
"RAHHHHHHHH!" a butt-ugly figure of a zombie growled as it jumped up on the counter.
BANG!
The zombie flopped over dead, its brains blown out. Angela stood up, and looked at the remains.
"Sneaky b******," she said to herself. She held her firearm ready for battle as she reached up with her left hand and strightened her glasses.

"Come on that shot we heard could be another survivor,' ratko said.

Chuck turned and as if on reflex action alone began dashing towards the sound of the gunshot. As he ran, he flipped open his revolver and checked how many shots he had left. "Three...better make em count before I have to reload." he said aloud as he pushed the revolving bullets home and pulled back the hammer on his gun.

"Hey you up there,' ratko called from the ground floor.

Chuck skidded to a halt and looked over the railing and looked confused. 'How did I wind up on the upper level of this mall?' he thought to himself. He then answered Ratko. "You heard the gunshot too right? Cause that's where I'm heading right now!"

Vincent followed suit to where the gun shot had come from, slowly approaching the organic food store, looking over to the others, telling them to stand their ground as she slowly walked in, aiming his guns in all directions before seeing the female within the store "You, are you one of those....zombies?" he asked her, now awaiting for an answer.

"Uh...no. I was about to ask the same about yourself," Angela replied as she lowered her firearm. "Careful with the zombie guts. I made a mess of this son of a b****," she added as she gestured to the dead zombie in her store.

Zaine had eventually caught up with the others. When he found where the gun shot came from, he rolled his eyes. More survivors? We are only going to attract them sooner. "So we have another person on our team. Fantastic." He turned and headed in the opposite direction. He then stopped and addressed the group. "The more people we have, the easier it will be to find us. Remember that."

Chuck smiled as he came to a stop just inside the organic foods store. "Good. Nice to know we have another survivor with us. Cause I got a feeling that by the end of the day, we're going to need all the help we can get with skipping town." he commented with a warm smile towards Angela

Ratko keep looking for zombies and found 4 in a music store. He reloaded his clip and switched to full auto and mowed down all four zombies.

"Sounds like we've got a problem," Angela said in response to the shots Ratko had fired. She then turned her attention to Vincent and Zaine.
"See any zombies out there?" she asked as she approached them.

Zaine shook his head. "Not many around here at the moment. Let's hope it stays that way." He looked out the mall window and noticed that a group of zombies was starting to gather. "It's already begun. They've found us." He turned back to the others. "It's only a matter of time before they force themselves in here. If we don't find another location soon we're going to be dead."

"Well, then, where shall we go? We certainly don't have enough ammo to take out all those b******s. Any ideas?" Angela asked the others.

Zaine glanced over at the new girl. "Don't take offense, but I don't see much of a "we" happening here. I don't know about the rest of you, but once I figure out my plan I'm out of here." He looked out at the zombies that were starting to gather. "There's not too many out here for now at least, so let's not worry at the moment."
