There was a gathering outside the mansion. Mutants alike were gathered while up front was a mutant himself. He called himself Bigfoot while he addressed said group of mutants "Welcome one and all, most of you are regulars here, while I do know that others are new here. Now, you may call me Professor Bigfoot, and yes, to answer any inquiries, yes, I am the Bigfoot"
As Bigfoot continued to speak, near the back, one mutant stood in particular. Her face was shrouded in a hood, not realy wanting to reveal her face to others, even if they were fellow mutants. She had questions for the professor, but decided not to say a word, remaining quiet all the while.
However, elsewhere, another mutant had a question "Yeah, uh, I have a question, it's about the Danger Room"
Bigfoot smiled lightly as he answered her question "First of all, it's good to see you again Laura, and to answer your question, which I am glad you bought up, in general, we will be using the Danger Room, however, you wont be using it without my authorization and supervision"
Laura just scofed "Figures as much" she muttered to herself as she folded her arms.
"Any other questions?" Bigfoot then asked.
The other mutant still remained silent 'Just speak up, you know you can.....but then, what if they laugh? They probabally will. Best not to say a word'

Among the arrivals include Hisako Ichiki, also known as Armor, a regular at the Institute. She looked around, knowing she had no questions of her own...

There was, however, one mutant who wasn't present at the mansion...
Elsewhere in Manhattan, screaming sirens echoed through the streets as an ambulance converged on a scene of carnage in the center of the street. Police cars with armed officers blocked off the area, other paramedics were carrying victims, some dead, others alive and crying, to their own vehicles to rush them to the nearest available hospitals. Windows of the surrounding buildings were shattered, walls were 'painted' with scorch marks, and cars were nothing more than burning crumpled heaps. The scent in the air was clear as to the cause of this...
The ambulance came to a stop and two men jumped out with bags in tow. A police officer came up to them, and lead them across the yellow tape.
"We got two more in very serious condition," the officer said. "We had the other medics take everyone else. We were told you got talent for this..."
The trio were lead to an overturned car, and two individuals next to it. One, a young girl with her shirt caked in blood, and the other, a woman, was pinned underneath the wreckage.
One of the medics, Jason Caine, knelt next to the girl to check her, while his partner looked at the mother. A good quick look at the girl's shoulder had him look back up at the officer. "Where's her arm?" he said softly.
The officer gave a solemn shake of his head.
"Then we can handle this quickly..." Jason responded and looked back at the girl, and then placed a hand on the stump where her arm once was. With that, his brown eyes changed to a yellow iris over a blood-red background. As the child was barely conscious, she could feel no pain as her bleeding stopped, some of the spilled blood retracting back into her body, and her broken vessels were being repaired...

Thrusters were heard as one, wearing a suit of armour with firefly-like wings that weren't even flapping, arrived upon the scene in Manhattan and scanned said area. Eyes fell upon a paramedic and his team, eyeing them for just a moment before activating, what seemed to be something upon her arm.
"Mutant anamolies detected" the computer on her arm, unable to pinpoint or detected said mutants.
"Worthless" she scoffed as she scanned the area again "Perhaps flushing out these mutants would work instead"
She tapped the side of her right leg, a small component opening up as she pulled out a small spherical bomb and simply smirked to herself "This ought to be fun"
Down upon the ground, a few of those who were luckily enough to survived the blast before, were all gasping, some even pointing up at the villain in question.
She threw the device into the crowd of people and watched as it simply exploded, killing a few more people in the process "Come out, come out mutants, that is, if you care for the lives of others" she muttered to herself "Firefly wants to play"

The explosion rocked the street and sent debris across the area. Jason, his teammate, Arland, the police officer, and the two victims they were working on, were shielded from the explosion by the melted car. Jason and Arland covered themselves over the ladies to protect them from dirt and smoke. The officer looked around the car to see what was happening and shot back around.
"We got some nutcase in body armor and chucking grenades all over the place!" the cop shouted. "We gotta get outta here!"
"We try to leave, then we're out in the open!" Jason shouted back.
"And this woman can't be moved yet!" Arland added, and then leaned over to Jason to whisper. "Can you take her on?"
"If you said she's got armor, then no! I can't go through materials to get to the skin! These two need to get out as fast as possible!"
"How?"
Just as Arland had said, on the opposite side of the car and behind the attacker, a Chinese man calmly stepped forward. "Lookin' for someone?"

That voice, it had to be the mutant she was searching for as she only simply chuckled and turned around in midflight to face the man "Took you long enough to show up, was starting to worry"
Her arms were now folded as she watched him, eyes weary "What took you so long? Decided to take the scenic route through Central Park?" she chuckled again before unfolding her arms "Now, are you going to come with me quietly? Or are you going to make things difficult for yourself?"

Arland again looked around the car. "Hey. The psycho chick's talking to someone. Maybe a mutant?"
"Stay behind the car!" Jason responded, trying to keep the girl awake. He released his hand off her shoulder to show the stump had mostly healed. "This one's good to go! And the mother?"
"I can't keep her stable for long, and she's still pinned under the car."
"OK then. Take the girl and get back to the bus. I'll stay here." Jason pointed at the officer. "You go with him. They'll need cover."
"I can't do tha..." the cop started.
"Don't argue! If those two start fighting, this place will be rocked harder than before, and no one escapes! Help me out here!"
The cop hesitated, then turned to Arland. "Get the kid and get moving!"
Arland gently picked up the child and ran with the officer away from the area. Jason moved to the woman and started scanning through her blood system with his powers...

The Chinese man, stone faced, seemed to stare right through her. "I won't let a killer like you go unpunished..." he replied, cracking his knuckles. Then he took a fighting stance...

"A killer? Like myself?" Firefly scoffed at the idea of being called a killer "I am not the killer here, after all, it could have all been avoided if you had just shown yourself in the first place, would make searching for yourself so much easier"
However, she did note that the mutant was getting into a fighting stance and tapped both sides of her legs slightly "Very well then, you wish to fight? Then so be it" out of both sides of the legs, she pulled out what seemed to be a small gun each.
Without no warning, she aimed at the mutant and started to open fire upon him straight away, unmoving from her position in the air "You want things to go rough?Very well, I can play rough if need be"

Back at the mansion, Bigfoot noted that there were no mo questions that were pending as he spoke again "Well, as there seem to be no more questions, I welcome you to Professor Xavier's School for the Gifted, any other questions may be directed to myself in my office. No, classes will be starting in either a few day or the following week, that has yet to be established right now, but it will still give you time to meet each other and the likes. Now, as for room, you were each given a room upon joining up, the males are on one side of the mansion, females on the other side"
He paused for a moment before turning and opening the doors for the other mutants to enter the mansion as he started for his office, he did after all, need to get things prepared for future classes.
Kora just took the chance to head straight for her room without a single word to anyone. She did glance at others present, but still said nothing, keeping to herself as she did so.

This Chinese man showed that he had experience, and he was ready. As the attacker drew her weapons, he punched into the ground and ripped up a large piece of asphalt with the one hand, which took the brunt of the bullets. With the other hand, he palms the road to fly straight at the woman.
If it missed, it flies harmlessly over the car where Jason was behind, and land in a heap feet away...

Jason got to work on the woman, finding that she had been bleeding internally, and began to heal her...

Hisako joined the group into the mansion to her assigned room. At the doorway, she spotted what could be her new roommate...

Firefly stopped firring as she noticed that she was having no effect on the mutant in question. She put away her guns, tapping her leg again as she pulled out a small bomb instead and tossed it at the mutant instead.
There was no way she was going down to his level right now. She could tell that he was going to be a real pain to take care of, especially with him coming right at her "Fine, you want to play it that way...." and without any other warning, she charged forward at him, ready to meet him in a head on collision.

Kora was still walking, but stopped for a moment. It felt as though someone was watching her as she let off a small gulp and turned around.
She saw her, Hisako. Perhaps she should say something to her, but as usual, Kora decided against it, thinking it wouldn't be a good idea. Yet, she did give off a small smile before she continued on her way to her room, unaware that Hisako was her roommate.
She arrived in the room and took a small look around, approaching the mirror in the room, removing the hood to take a better look at her face with a sigh "I just hope they can at least....cure my blue skin and all...." she muttered to herself.

in another room which was the staff room, an older mutant was sitting at a table. gazing at his wristss. suddenly three sharp claws erupeted out of his skin. the metal was adamantium, the strongest alloy known to man. it was has hard, or harder than diamond, and was unbreakable. The mans name was lLogan, but he prefered to be called by Wolverine. among the staff at the Academy, he was what you could call a "lone wolf"

Alison came out of her room. She had finished a work out, taking a shower then resting. She briefly looked around trying to decide what to do first. She decided to go and get something to eat and headed to the cafeteria.

Since the Danger Room was off-limits at the moment, Laura, whom also went by the codename of X-23, had nothing else better to do at the time and found herself sitting in the cafeteria as well, munching away on a blueberry muffin, but all the while, she looked rather bored as she did so.
Her eyes watched the few mutants that were present in the cafeteria, but only let off a sigh herself, tapping a finger upon the table, leaving the now half eaten muffin alone. Her eyes watched said muffin with a second sigh "Well,classes better start up in the next few days....otherwise, this is gonna be one long week..." she grumbled to herself.

Wolverine had gone out of the staff room to grab a bite to eat in the cafteria.. he grabbed a pait of muffins and sat at the nearest table which Laura happened to be at. he recognized her immediately ' Hello X, its been awhile' wolverine said 'I take it you still haven't forgiven me from our last meeting..what brings you here?

Laura had still left the muffin alone as her attention turned to that voice as she shrugged "Eh, you know, having nowhere else to really go and the likes" she paused, a finger to her chin for a moment "Well, that and I was hoping for some time in the Danger Room....till Professor Bigfoot told us it was off-limits"
She sighed, glancing to the half eaten muffin, then to Logan again, leaning back in her chair slightly "But other than that, I guess not much else" she shrugged "Do tell me that you're going to be teaching some classes as well"

I really nor sure what I;m teaching yet.. professot hasn't told me.. thats just like him you know.. the Danger room can only be unlocked by the professor, thats why its off limits..

"Yeah, figures as much" Laura mutted under her breath with a roll of her eyes to boot as well "Guess I've just got to find something else to keep myself occupied with...."
'Question is what though?' Laura added in thought, leaning forward in her chair again and tapped upon the table again with her fingers, clearly rather bored as it was.

theres a new kid that just came in Wolverine said her mutantname is thornrose.. if you could show her arround laura I'd be obliged.. Shesmeeting with bigfoot right about now..
- there was a knock on bigfoots door and a young redhaired girl stood there cutching a backpack.." Mr Bigfoot.. sir? Hi, I;m Rose..' ahe atammered.

Laura just shrugged "Sure, I mean, sure beats just sitting around doing nothing" she told Logan as she got up out of her seat, grabbing the half eaten muffin she had yet to finish and tossed it into the garbage can on her way out towards the office.

Bigfoot looked up from his desk at the girl at the door "Ah yes, please come in, have a seat. What is it I can do for you today? A question you have pending that I was unable to answer earlier on? Or would it be something else that is on your mind?"

Well i just got in.. so I missed you talk earlier.. I'm here to better control my mutant powers.. and well my feelings.. for instance, I think you're cute.. sir. I need to learn how to control these powers and emotions..

Alison went into the cafeteria and looked over the choices. She decided on a sandwich and some juice. Then she went to a table and sat down and started on her meal.

Bigfoot looked at her, ignoring the whole "cute" comment that she had given him "We will be getting into classes in regards to controlling powers in the next few days, but as we are rather stretched for staff right now, it may very well take a whole week until the classes do start up, so until then, it would be best to make friends around here and the likes-"
He was cut off by the knock upon the door as Laura stood there, arms folded "Logan told me about a girl that he wants me to show around"
"Ah yes, yes, Laura, this here is Rose, Rose, that there is Laura, and well, I suppose since she is here, she can be the one to show you around, as I still have paper work that needs to be completed, so I'm afraid I do not have the time to do that" Bigfoot replied back, giving Rose a smile.
In turn, Laura left the doorway and just waited in the hallway until Rose was ready for the tour of the mansion, arms still folded all the while.

um, hi I'm Rose' Rose offered Laura her hand.. as they left bigfoots office.. ' So er.. how big is this place anyway? i guess i have a lot of questions.. i guess..

Laura decided to shake Rose's hand back "Yeah, this place is pretty big" she answered back, motioning for Rose to follow her as she walked off "So, what kind of questions did you havein mind?" she asked, trying to get a conversation going at the very least.

I don't know.. i've already kinda known i was a bit different, and i have a thing for saying stuff-- i ike your hair by the way- that i don;t mean to say.. so when did you get here? whats it like? I guess i have a lot of rabdom questions..

"Yeah, I can tell" Laura replied back in regards to Rose's hair comment "Well, I got here not that long ago, well, that is, in regards to this year anyway. And well, it's not all thatbad here, I'm sure you'll have fun here....more than myself anyway"
She paused "Here's a question for you, what's your mutant power anyway?" she asked as she bought her two claws out on her right hand out to show Rose "As this is my power"

this' Rose said pulling out her whip and trabsforming it. ' each thorn is like a serrate knife blade.. say is there a sparring room were you ca n test your powers? Rose asked. " So Laura, any guys you have your eyes on..

"Sparring room? Hmm...." Laura had to indeed, think for a moment till it came to her, there was the gym which should be big enough "Yeah, this way" she motioned again for Rose to follow.
She considered Rose's question for a moment and only shook her head in the end "Nah, quite frankly, seems a bit pointless to me, I mean okay, I guess falling in love and what have you, could be fun, but so far, there's been no one that even remotely interests me"

well i'm just looking for a friend, aand more often than not, it's a girl who ends up being my friend. i like boys, just can't seem to find the right words or keep them interested in me probably because i'm a freak' Rose Sighed as they went down a corridor and stopped at a large door.

Laura only nodded back at Rose's response, unsure on how to answer her comment properly and shrugged it off for now and opened up the door "This here is the gym, works as a sparring room of sorts too, if you notice the wide space over there" she motioned to said wide area in the gym.
She walked into the area and bought out her claws on her fists, grinning to Rose "So, you still up for that sparring match? Or...you just want to pass at it now?" she asked, bringing out the two claws on her feet as well.

i'm ready' rose said crackling her whip. " So we just swing at each other with our powers, or do they have some kinda points system or something..
No Leibchen ' said another mutant who suddenly appeard out of thin air
the object is to show your powers in comnat " i'm professir Nightcrawler I will be teaching here this year.. i just arrived.. first bow to your opponent and then, have at ait..

"Well, that is if you want to be formal about it" Laura replied, rolling her eyes at Nightcrawler's comment and instead of bowing, she just got into her fighting position, ready to fight, grinning all the while.
"But I guess it is fair warning to say that your whip....it still wont do too much damage to me" Laura added in, smirking, yet, knowing that it'll probabally hurt none the less.

well good luck i must be off' nightcrawlr said vanishing as quickly as he came Rose swung herwhip at laura striking her in the side.. and pulling away..nly to have to diodge her claws..

Laura grinned at what had just happened, pulling her hand backwards and down in one motion in order to pull Rose to the ground as she crouched slightly before she rushed at Rose with a quick cartwheel, landing upon the ground in front of Rose.
She just grinned "Not bad" and with the, she swung both of her claws in a full circular motion to strike Rose across the face, smirking all the while "You're going to have to a lot better than that if ya gonna get ahead of me in this match"

tose managed to parry lauras claw strikes, then strike back at her face. it was clear that laura was more experienced in fighting and would be all she she could do to avoid being carved up..

As she was struck across the face, she grabbed onto the spikey whip with her left hand, holding it there as the wound across her face was already starting to heal up, right in front of Rose.
She used her strength to pull the whip, and Rose closer before letting go and lunging forward, stopping only inches away from her claws piercing Rose's throat, still grinning "But hey, I do have to say, you're not a bad fighter either, you do have skill, I'll give ya that"

thanks ' rose panted afraisd to breathe in too deep lest lauras's claw cut her.. ; the last thing she needed was to find a first aid kit around here when she didn't even know her way around..

Laura pulled away with a quick laugh"Relax, it's not like I was actually going to kill you, besides, if I wanted to kill you, you'd already be dead by now" she stepped back, her arms folded for a moment "But I guess if you really want to hone your fighting skills, just wait till we get to the Danger Room"
She paused for a moment, realizing something "By the way, as I still have to show you around and the likes, you do know where your room is right?"

no, but theres just one more thing..' rose said a smile coming on her face as she looked at Laura.. This. she leaned forward and kissed her on the lips.

Laura had no idea on what was going on as Rose was kissing her. She had to comprehend it all. This girl was kissing her. Perhaps she should do something back and that's what she just did, she did give off small kiss back to Rose now and then, but still trying to comprehend the situation fully as she unfolded her arms, dropping them to her side.
The thing was too, this kiss seemed like it was going on longer than what it really was. Was this what love really was? No, it couldn't be. Too strange, too confusing, made no sense to her at all. She would need to at least talk to Rose at the very least about this kiss.

Laura just stood there, silent. Her face was not stern however, but more a bit confused than anything else. A few seconds passed before the girl spoke up "That was...." but that was all she could manage to say before she went silent again. Her finger touched her lips slightly as she gave off a very light little laugh.
"You....kissed me...." Laura spoke again before finally regaining herself "Okay, I have to ask this.....why? I mean didn't you just say you like guys and now you kiss me?"

Wolverine meanwhile was walking down the hallway looking for , avoiding students that came around the corner. many of these kids were young, just learning about thier powers for the first time and really controlling them.

I don't mean to do it.. it was just.. an impluse..and i;m sorry ' rose said..' it won;t happen again, i promise..the problem with guys, is that i really can't get close to them, before they find out about my abilities..

"I guess that makes sense" Laura sighed a little bit "But I guess you don't really have to worry about it so much" she added on with a quick little smile again before motioning for Rose to follow her "Come on, we should keep up with this tour thing I'm suppose to be taking you on"

Rose followed her down the hallway.
_ hello Herr Wolverine" nightcrawler said " just s left a couple girls sparring in the gym. just a friendly little spar " nightcrawlker don't pop up on me like that, it creeps me out . so what are you teaching this year?'
Probably invisibiliyty. we were assigned students whose powers close match outs. so you'll getting students with claws somewhat similar to yours..

Laura had gone silent, her mind still on that kiss that had happened before as she did smirk slightly at that. She in turn though, just walked down the hallway, not paying much attention on where she was going, but having a rough idea at the very least. After all, she did need to show Rose where she was suppose to be staying.
She stopped at a door and looked to Rose "Well, this one here is your room" she spoke, chuckling slightly "And again, about that kiss, don't worry about it so much, besides, it was...."
She stopped herself from talking as she just looked at Rose, giving her a quick smile. 'Yeah, the kiss was nice and all, big deal, it's not like I would want to kiss her again....would I?' she shook her head 'Shut up....'
Her facial expression had changed to a more annoyed expression by that point "I should go.....before I do anything....rash...." she clenched her fists at that point and turned, starting to walk off 'Wish she didn't have to go ahead and kiss me like that....'

Rose nodded and headed inside her room was pretty sparselt furnished. there was a medium bed, a night stand a closet opened two show two bagd og clothes..she brushed away the memory ogf that foolish kiss and when to get to a fresh change of clothes.

The mutant kicks up another piece of road way to take the brunt of the explosion, and sidesteps with his super speed, watching her fly past him by inches. For someone with formidable power, she has never taken on a real opponent...

Jason flinched at another explosion, but it was further away to make any impact on the car and the patient. While healing her, he looks up to use his powers and see the heat generating from the fighters' blood flow. The man may have come to keep the armored woman from attacking any more people, but this is still getting very dangerous.
Underneath his coat collar, he used his free hand to tap a microphone. "Blood Cell to X-Men! Blood Cell to X-Men! Come in!" he radioed...

Hisako reached the room to find someone inside. She was anxious with new people, but kept some nerve to respond. "Hey..." she said in a greeting. "I take it we're roommates this year..." She walked to a bed in the corner and dropped her duffel bag.

Kora hessitated rather quickly as she heard a voice, quickly putting her hood back up to cover her head and glanced over to Hisako "You...you're that....girl that was....watching me....before...." she managed to say, albit a bit quietly all the while.
She did give off a nervous smile to Hisako as well. She had to say something else too "Well, this is...my room....but if you want....you can stay here as well...." again, it was a rather quiet talk, and a bit slow as well. Kora still was rather nervous herself as she stepped back a bit away from Hisako as well.

Blood Cell's call was answered, and it was by Bigfoot as well "This is Bigfoot of the X-Mansion, what is the situation Blood Cell? Do you require some assistance?"

Firefly skidded to a complete hault as she turned around to face the mutant again, eyes watching him underneath the mask "You sure do like to make things more of a challenge, don't you?" she chuckled slightly "Gonna be fun taking you in.....they'll have fun with you for sure" she flexed her fists as she landed softly upon the ground.

Alison Blair finished her meal. She put the tray and such in their proper place then she decided to go for a walk around the mansion then maybe outside. That way she'd not be cooped up inside all the time and it did look like the weather was nice enough for a walk outside.

Hisako looked to Kora with a puzzled look, then pulled out some papers. "Funny... I thought I was sharing rooms like last... Oh..." Her eyes widened, then went to grab her bag off the bed. "I am SO sorry about that," she said apologetically. "It's that last year I shared bunks with some classmates and I thought... I should've introduced myself. I'm Hisako." She stepped forward, offering her hand...

"We gotta crisis here in Manhattan!" Jason replied. "A mutant in strange armor's on a murder spree downtown! There's a guy taking her on, but she'll level the place if she sticks around! Send help!"

"You'll have to kill me first," the warrior replied, stone-faced. "And you simply don't have what it takes to do so..." With that, he kicks up a cloud of dirt & dust at the attacker, and then spins at her with a flurry of swift kicks with his super speed...

Kora was rather hessitated to actually shake her hand back, after all, Kora did have webbed hands, but did not want to show them to Hisako, just in case she would laugh, so decided against it for the time being.
Yet, she still answered Hisako regardless "My name's Kora....just....Kora" she paused for a moment "I was an orphan before I came here, so I uess that's why I don't really know my last name"

Bigfoot nodded to himself "Understood, I'll get a team together ASAP and send them to your location, for now, you'll have to sit tight, you think you'll be able to do that?"

Firefly chuckled "We'll see about that, although they don't want you dead, so I'll have to instead, subdue you" however, before she knew it, kicks were flying at her in super speed.
She started to block each of the kicks that were sent at her before she started to get overwhelmed, a stray kick, striking her right in the face, knocking her back some in the process.

In the dormitories, Eric, also known as Therian due to his unique mutant power, rolled off of his bed, landing on the floor with a dull thud.
"Ow...I'm up, I'm up!"
He said to nobody in particular...

A car stopped outside the mansion.
"So this is the place?" Sara said looking at the mansion.
"Pretty fancy looking place." Johnny said.
"Remember to use the cellphone and the electric guitar and accessories I modified. You can't short those out." J said. "And as for how fancy the mansion is, the owner is very rich."
"Thanks, again, I don't know how you were able to do that." Johnny said as he and Sara started to get out.
J shrugged, "Just a few modifications and a few components, so advanced you're world won't have the technology for.... oh maybe 500 or a thousand years." J said.
The 2 of them got out with their stuff and waved to J.
"Remember the letters. I've met Xavier before, nice guy. Not sure if he's here ore elsewhere." J said. "If you need to contact me for some reason you know how to." He said. They waved and he drove off.
The 2 of them looked at the mansion before going up to the door.
(ooc: since someone else is using the name Jason I thought it best to avoid confusion and just use the first letter of the name he uses, simple and not important since I only plan on his appearance being a brief cameo, the only way I can imagine how the characters would get to the mansion.))

"I'm sorry to hear that," Hisako replied, taking her hand back, and then perked up. "Anyway, I need to find my room to drop some stuff off, then we can talk some more. That OK with you?"

"I'm not going anywhere!" Jason replied. "We've already got casualties, and I'm trying to save as many as possible! Just get here and kick this broad outta here!" So far, he's managed to keep the woman from bleeding to death, but with broken bones and pinned under the car, he couldn't get her out and escape...

The warrior follows with a twirling kick, straight for the woman's mask with the intentions to punch through...

Eric walked down the halls to the main hall, almost running into Allison.
"Oh, woah! Sorry!"
He stammered...

"Alright, alright, just calm down, I'll get the team together and be there as soon as possible, just do your best to stay put" Bigfoot answered back as he hung up and went to work in setting off an alarm that begun to blare throughout the mansion. Across the intercom system, he spoke to all within the mansion.
"Attention all X-Men, your presence is require, we have an emergencey that needs to be attended to immediatly, meet me by the X-Plane as soon as possible, this is not a drill" Bigfoot spoke before he left the office to the meeting spot.

Kora on the other hand, nodded to Hisako a little "I guess that'll be...." she stopped as she heard the alarm go off along with Bigfoot's voice as she went silent for a moment. She then spoke again, but rather quietly "A mission? Already? I uh....I can't go...."
It wasn't that she couldn't go, but more that she didn't want to go. In particular, she didn't want t ogo because of her powers, unsure on what they even were to begin with and knowing that if she went on a mission, that she would just get in the way.

Firefly saw the incoming punch and leaned back as far as she could, although the punch still did connect, but instead of her face, it was just her chin. She grinned underneath the mask of the suit, activating one more thing upon her suit, two claw-like weapons upon the top of her wrist, using it to stab the mutant, right in his arm, followed by a simple kick to his face.
"Told you that this was no ordinary suit, it's designed to take things like you down, one way or another" Firefly chuckled as she took a few steps backwards, the claws retracting into the suit as she did so.

Alison smiled to Eric, "It's ok. You're not the first to run into someone in the halls. I'm sure we've all done it now & then." She said. She dropped her smile when she heard the alarm and what it said. "Gotta go." She said. She turned and ran to her room and quickly switched to her costume as fast as she could then ran to where the x-plane was.

Outside Sara went up to knock on the front door. Johnny adjusted his electric guitar he was wearing on a shoulder strap so it was a bit more comfortable.
"Sounds like some sort of commotion inside." Sara said hearing the alarm.
"You're hearing is good. I wonder what's up." Johnny said.

Wolverine calmly headed towards the X-plane. great, just we need. a mess to throw raw, untrained mutants into battle. This is going to be a fUn school year..' He muttewred as he changed into his X-men attire, and brought out his claws.

The man flinched when the blades pierced his arm, and stood back to inspect it. Luckily, it was minor. Upon hearing what the woman said, he was more confident in defeating her. She's dependent on the suit for her strength, maybe like a drug. She's using it more like a toy rather than a real extension of her being. And lastly, like toys, the suit should have some sort of battery. This gave him options...
"And yet you still haven't been able to kill me," he replied. "Or are you afraid to take on a real opponent?"

Jason looked back at the woman. She had healed considerably and is even gaining consciousness. But it will not be easy to move the car off her, for he has not the strength or the power to lift it. He'll have to wait, when...
"Help..." a weak cry came from the smoldering pile of brick nearby, where a piece of wall had fallen into the street. Turning to the area, Jason used his powers to find a heat signature in the rubble. One part of him said to go immediately, but the fight on the other side of the car and the victim he's already with is making his choice hard...

Armor looked up as she too heard the alarm. "Well this is definitely a way to start the school year," she remarked. "You sure you're not coming?"

Patrick had been Tracking Alexia ever since she stole the suit he had helped designed for incredible rescue and response sitiuatuions was being used against the very country he loved.
"Alert: Firefly armor located" The computer voice of his onboard A.I. System S.A.I. or Sophisticated Artificial Intelligence said. Patrick's suit allowed him to see through satalites too. He changed his flight path downward, which would bring him down over her. He was soon in range to where he could fire a rocket without having to get to close to her. "S.A.I. fire rocket's" He said as four rockets were deployed and made contact with the firefly suit. Patrick land near her. " Private Alexia Jorden, lay on ground, arms spread, ankles crossed, or I will kill you traitor." He warned his former subordinate.

The rockets struck her as she skidded along the ground again, yet, used the thrusters of the suit to spin herself around to face who had spoken to her this tim. Her gaze did shift back to the mutant and simply scoffed at him before turning to her new attacker.
Private? She hadn't heard that in a few days now and only snickered at it "Kill me? You think that you have what it takes to kill me? Please....." she activated her thrusted and moved off the ground "Sorry, but you have no authority over me to order me around like that anymore"
She continued to rise up still, arms folded as she looked at this other armored person "But might I ask you something? Do you actually have the guts to kill me? I mean okay, perhaps at some date you might, but today? Sorry, but that's not going to happen, trust me on this"
She glanced back to the mutant "Just consider yourself lucky right now....I have....other things that I need to attend to now" her gazed shifted back to Patrick again, yet, said nothing else as she turned and simply rushed off, leaving the area for the time being.

Alison arrived at where the x-plane was. "I wonder what's up." She said, seeing Wolverine was there, she waited for the others.

"Not this time Jordan." Patrick said as he followed her. " S.A.I. launch tazer whips." He ordered as the Taser whips were deployed and ensnared Firefly. "charge the curent." He ordered his A.I Co-pilot as the electricy surged though the whips and into the Firefly costume. Patrick then flung Firefly into a back allyway hitting a dumpster. "After all the times I tried to watch your butt in the army and you went and stole the firefly. It was meant for rescue and response situations. The President, The Vice President, everyone who was anyone had flown in to see the suits that would not only protect America, but her service men and women too. I might of even had you recomended for the firefly pilot, but you stole it. Our Base and unit had never been so embaressed in our lives!" He shouted at Alexia. "And to answer you before, yes I can and I will." He said, drawing the right fist back for a finishing blow. "all this time everyone right, you were never good enough to be a solider." He said in a cold voice.

Eric ran out of the mansion to the X-Plane, wearing his unique helmet on top of the rest of the outfit he normally wore.

Firefly came to a hault and smirked. He was still following her? That wouldn't matter, especially hearing what he had to say to her "And you think that by killing myself, you'll be any better than the other terrorists around here? Please...." she smirked as she watched him pull his fist back and decided to mimic him.
She too pulled her fist back "If I was never good enough to be a soldier, then hey, at least we both agree on something in the end" and with that, she too launched her fist at Patrick, the two fists connecting as she grinned underneath her helmet.
"You're going to have to do a lot better than that to stop me" Firefly chuckled as she held her fist there, pushing Patrick backwards some. Her other fist was ready as she swung at him in order to knock him backwards.
In turn, it was Firefly's turn to fight back as she charged at him, grabbing onto him as she pulled him up into the air, punching him a few times in the face as she did so before launching him off and down into the very busy Times Square, already causing panic. She tapped the side of her suit and pulled out some bombs again and launched them straight away at Patrick.

Bigfoot addressed the group that had arrived at the plane ready for action "We've been called away to Manhattan, to which some girl in a power suit of sorts is, well, terrorizing everything and everyone in sight. All we're going to dois stop her without killing her and afterwards, help out the people in any way possible"
"This should be fun" Laura snickered to herself some.

"Hopefully we can contain the damage to as small an area as possible with as few injured as possible." Alison said. "Has there been any response to her actions from any others?" She asked bigfoot.

Patrick groaned as he was knocked backward by Firefly's punch. "Lucky shot." He said
"S.A.I. Disarm the bombs!" he yelled as S.A.I. went to work as did Patrick, the Solider went to work catching them. "Bombs disabled." The A.I. said as Patrick crushed them. "If that's your best shot, you'd best give up!" He yelled as he flew into firefly in an attempt to get her out of the City. " I hope you know how to swim Jordan." He said as the two splashed down into the hudson river. The two armor's sank. with the Patriot armor having a seemingly unbreakible hold on the firefly. "You choice alexia. eject from armor and swim, or stay in the armor or sink. Either way, I'm not leaving without bout my suits!" Her Former CO said.

"Yours suits?" Firefly just gave off a laugh "Sorry, I only see one suit that's yours, and I'm looking at it right now, this suit on the other hand, is mine, after all, you shouldn't of put myself in charge of watching over the suit to begin with"
She grinned to herself "But I do wonder, if I stay here in the water, what's to say you can't escape? Or what's to say that your suit stays underwater while I'm able to fly out with ease, hmm? Leaving things to chance I take it?"
Again, she activated her thrusters and pushed him forward in order to slam him against the stone wall of the cannel, breaking his grip from her ever so slightly before her claws popped out as she swung, albit slowly within the water itself, but enough to come in contact with Patrick before she pushed off him with her legs.
She again, activated her thrusters and started to make her way towards the surface of the river, leaving Partick where he was. She had tothink rather quickly too. Seemed like he was able to find her easily, but how? Then it came to her. She flipped open the arm pannel of the suit and started to type something upon it, yet, had no luck with it as she scoffed "Sorry Patrick, time to take the main computer offline" she sneered to herself as she instead, stabbed the arm-piece, the computer fritzing and in turn, going offline.
She knew for a fact that that would help her get an advantage in escaping Partick without him following her, after all, it's something she had seen before in regards to the suit's creation.
Lexi threw a few more bombs into the Hudson River before she just simply took off from the scene of the crime, having managed to escape for the time being.

It all happened so fast, first S.A.I. whent down, then an underwater explostion took him out. As he sank to the Bottem it seemed hopeless, until S.A.I. Managed to reboot. " Wearer: Patrick Anderson. Status: Non responsive. initiating auto intervention system." S.AI. said as he took control of the large armor. " Returning to nearest Military Facility." S.A.I. said as he ploted a course to the nearst base. However halfway to the base a problem arose. "Error, power loss detected. Threat level: Critical, solution: engaging emergancy landing and power down all non life support systems till solo recharge is complete." S.A.I. Said as the armor powered down, unaware it was hidden within the grounds of the Xavier Instatute for gifted Youngsters.

Jason barely had time to notice the newcomer as he noticed a third heat signature charge at the woman in armor, and chased her out of the area. This meant there was no more danger keeping him from running from behind the car to the rubble where he heard the victim crying from underneath. He makes his way to the pile and starts digging when a voice behind him caught his attention.
"What can I do to help?" the voice came from the Chinese man who fought the female attacker. His arm was covered in blood, but he didn't seem to mind.
"If you got some strength," Jason replied, "Could you get that car over there off of someone? She's stabilized, but I can't get the car off of her."
The man nodded. "I'll be very careful with her..." He turned to do the deed, and Jason got back to digging.
Some officers and civilians came out of hiding to help out.
"Blood Cell to X-Men! This is Blood Cell! The fight has moved out of the area. Last seen towards Hudson River!" Jason radioed.
