LBT Fanfiction / Fanfictions

Chapter 15 is up.  Of course, no good guys will die.  I just rated the story M because of the high body count in "sharpteeth".  There may be some human casualties like in Halo.  But, unlike the other M rated story on FF.net, I won't kill off any of the original gang.  I like to write stories with a lot of realism in them.  Sometimes it's ok to think outside the box.  :^.^:

The Fridge / Pets
« on: February 11, 2006, 05:21:38 PM »
Does anybody on this forum own a pet?  I have a dog and my sister has a cat.  Which is very unfortunate considering that my dog and my sister's cat get into fights whenever they get within six inches of each other. And my sister's cat always wins.  One time I went to feed my dog and I noticed a cat claw sticking out of his snout.  Poor little guy, anywho, here's a photo of my pet, Rusty.

At least the sharpteeth are taking the most casualties.  I can't really write an action/adenture story without blood and violence.

Are there kids that constantly bring up how bad The Land Before Time is or something? O.o
I'm not too sure.  But I'm pretty sure I can feel it in the atmosphere of my extremley hectic high school.

The Last aurora borealis I saw was four years ago, and I remember it quite vividly.  It was a beautiful mixture of green and red.  And yes, I live very close to Yellowstone, about an hour and a half's drive, it's also a pretty site on the trip over there.  You go through Paradise Valley which is famous for the "Chico Hot Springs" resort and not to mention Emigrant Peak, at eleven thousand feet high.  But its been a while since I went to Yellowstone.  I guess when you live next to a national icon you sort of take it for granted.  I should go back there, take some photos and post them on this site. :DD

Correct! :DD   I'm from Montana, well known for its urban legend surrounding cowboys.  Montana is also well known for Paleontologist Jack Horner and his discovery at Egg Mountain.  Bozeman MT is home to the famous Museum of the Rockies.  When I lived in Bozeman I used to go there for at least six hours.  I loved it there.  But now I'm in an isolated little town in between Livingston and Billings where the wind blows every single day.  The weather up here is also very unpredictable.  Five years ago, it snowed two feet in June.  Power lines snapped and trees branches broke under the weight.   But Montana is also a very beautiful place in the summer time.  Very hot and humid.  But the winter storms from Canada bring the Temprature down to -15 degrees farenheit just like that.  But Montana is full of geological beauty.  Like this photo I took of the Crazy mountains.

Silver Screen / Just saw Bambi 2 with my sister...

I don't understand why they make sequels to a movie that's over 50 years old.  Because some of the old disneys are based off of Grimms Fairytales, though I don't read fantsy books, you can say that disney is ruining 300 year old stories that were made into a movie in the 20th century and the unconsious disney directors and producers of the 21st century are screwing up Walt's original work.  Disney has really lost it these past five or six years.

Here's the first pic again, this time I added a shadow to one of the raptors in the front.  I didn't know how to apply a shadow to the other one, mainly because its feet aren't visible.

I have one question about the volcanoes you saw. Was there any obsidian (Obsidian is a black stone which seems like black glass and chips into sharp edges)?
Yes, if your talking glass then you must be talking about the cooled down lava right?  I heard from the rangers that you have to wear closed shoes whereever you hike.  You have to be extremly carful around the Puu oo (poo oo oh oh) vent, which has been active since 1983, there are a lot of places where you can trip and cut yourself.  Here's a picture of Puu oo I took earlier that morning from a small plane.  One way to start off a New Year.  :DD

Strict-LBT-Only / Character List (for the strict role plays)
« on: February 10, 2006, 01:41:55 AM »
I will play the role of Tell, an Autistic Rainbow Face.  He is the same age as Hyp and doesn't easily make friends.  He lost his parents in a raptor attack on the way to the Great Valley and is fending for himself.  He is an expert at certain things at the expense of his ability to socialy interact.  Tell is usually picked on by Hyp and his lackeys because he's a loner and seems to act stupid to them.  Littlefoot's grand parents have compassion for him and he likes to stay away from everybody else.  Usually he hangs out by the smoking mountain, due to his osession with volcanoes, or he stays hidden in the tall trees,  munching on some treestars.

It's cold over here. But we haven't had any snow on the ground since Christmas.  And other parts of the state have at least six inches of snow on the ground.  And the only snow we've had just dusted the surface.  But it HAS been very cold and gusty here. In this part of my state the winds can get up to extremly fast speeds.  A few weeks ago the wind was blowing as 87 miles an hour!!  Two tractor trailers and one RV blew over that day.  Not much snow up here, but a lot of extremly gusty winds.

Silver Screen / Scariest movie you ever saw?
« on: February 09, 2006, 11:49:06 PM »
All of the horror movies that I've seen don't freak me out at all.  Its as if something has burned the fear right out of me.  But there is only one thing that scares me the most, and it's not a movie.  It's a game.  You guessed it, Doom 3. :o But there is one Scifi Horror movie that I nearly got the hee-bee-jee-bees from and that was Alien.  The part where Captain Dallas gets killed.  That made me jump.  But the best "Scifi" horror movie I've seen would probably be 28 Days Later.  One of the best "Horror" horror movies I've seen would probably be The Ring.

The Fridge / World traveling
« on: February 09, 2006, 11:08:59 PM »
You should visit Australia, the people there are very kind.  I have a friend who lives on the east coast.  You'd also like Costa Rica, though it's a thrid world country, I still liked it.  And you spelled Sydney right.  I walkrd across the harbor bridge when I was there the first time and I went to Uluru (Ayers Rock) the second time.  The outback is pretty amazing, except for those stupid flies.  They orbit your head like the 31 moons circling Saturn.

I have been posting a story on FF.net for the past four months titiled "Time Gate X", I already know F-14, Littlefoot1616, and Threehorn are reading it.  But for those who don't know, it's a pretty good story, I got some of the ideas from "Halo", "Doom 3", "Dino Crisis" and "Jurassic Park".  It's an intensly violent story, a lot of cursing, bullets and gore in it.  There isn't much of the original gang in this story, mainly Hyp, Nod and Mutt.  It also stars a fellow author's fan character.  I'm still working on chapter 15.

Thanks, I also have another pic with Sierra and Rinkus from LBT 7, the background is inside the Thurston Lava Tube at Volcanoes National Park.  This one isn't so good.  If you look carfully you can see the exit and a few tourists and I don't think I cut out Sierra and Rinkus too well.

You're not alone, brother.  But my mom doesn't have a problem with me liking the LBT.  But since my sister found out I've never trusted her.  She nearly blew it a couple of times.  But if any news leaked out at school, I would be in a living hell for the next three years of high school.  My school is full of antiLBT rednecks, and if they found out, I would be so dead.

What do you think of this little picture I made?  I used screenshots from LBT 3 and Microsoft Picture It to cut out the raptors from the shots.  The background is a photo I took inside Kiluea Iki crater at Volcaonoes National Park when I visited Hawaii during Christmas Break.
