Come on Jason, you know I'm not interpreting your post as any whatsoever kind of attack same as you don't interpret mine as such mate. No need for any reassurance on this. If I ever mean to offend you I'll tell you in the message. Till then we can presuppose that neither of us is attacking the other one.

I understand the "entertaining value" of blood and gore (or rather than understand I should say that I know it myself. All my peacetalk should not mislead people to think that I'm unaffected by this). What I find somewhat disquieting though is the apparent inability to go without an excessive amount of blood and gore (there is violence in LBT, but certainly not the amount that is to be found in many fanfictions) and non-LBT elements at all. I find it surprising how very different our views on LBT seem to be and just how large the majority is that favours crossing overs and blood and gore in LBT. Apart from myself I think there are only two or three people in the GOF who prefer strictly LBT stories. I know of a few more people who are however not posting here. I do think that there are really land before time stories beyond the line of good taste.
Some people think that including however unusual elements in their stories proves their great imagination. I would rather say that the ability to write within the borders set by the movies is a proof of imagination. There are so very, very few land before time fanfictions without non-LBT elements and much less people trying to write such stories.
It does not always take a blood-bath to make a story interesting (if I want to learn about that I just need to switch on the television news).
Again, I know I don't have the right to tell anyone what to write and what not to. I have to admit though that it is much harder for me to shrug off an LBT story written by an LBT fan which consists to a good deal of the process of dismembering dinosaurs than it is for me to shrug off some LBT haters offenses against LBT and us. Sometimes the line between so called LBT fanfictions and anti LBT hate mail seems rather blurred to me. There are stories and even images created by fans which include pretty much what LBT haters write they would like to do to the LBT characters.

Chapter 15 is up. Of course, no good guys will die. I just rated the story M because of the high body count in "sharpteeth". There may be some human casualties like in Halo. But, unlike the other M rated story on FF.net, I won't kill off any of the original gang. I like to write stories with a lot of realism in them. Sometimes it's ok to think outside the box. :^.^:

I am currently writing a Land Before Time story, called Out of the Shadows. It's also at FF.Net but it is rated M, and dark and violent. Not something you should let kids read. It's about Chomper betraying the gang and trying to take over the valley with other sharpteeth, but something else is controlling everything. There's a lot of twists and turns in the fanfic, and appearances of not only official, but fanmade characters.

Yes, my story is the other M rated story that Cyberlizard mentioned. So yeah I do have major character deaths, however, I do plan on a special ending that'll fix all that. ^^

Afterwards, if I don't decide to write my first book (yes I'm considering it), then there's a couple LBT fanfics I may write, the main ones being Cursed and The Dream Effect.

I never post a story on ff.net cause of the rules and I dont plan to I use the word pad on my computer to write storys Im working on CARNAVORE II right now then I'll work on my LBT story its in its pre-production stage right now but I will say its going to be a series of spin-offs.

I don't mind the rules at FF.Net. I can live with them. I'm not too happy about the no official lyrics thing, but oh well. I'm completely fine with the other rules, especially no script-formatting. I hate stories written in script-format. o_O

big news ya'll I got a new story up on FF.net its the one I've been talking about for a while now and I'm finaly writing it.

The Land Before Time: Rise of the Triceron Empire is finaly being posted. the entire story will be a long and interesting story of two alien races at war and takes there war to earth. The Tricerons (the good guys. resemble bipedial triceratops with armor and laser weapons) destroys the comit that was to kill the dinosaurs 37 years later and goes to earth and helps the Dinosaurs (mainly the herbivores) to become the domenant species of the planet. the Tricerons also teach them to build there first civilisation and teachs them to farm.

all the original concept is there too. the Carnotons (bad guys. also resemble Carnotorus with armor also has Laser weapon teck) goes to earth to destroy the Tricerons and enslave all beings. also the Dinomechs and Carnobots are still in this story as before especualy Littlefoots turned Cyborg mom Brontus AA01 will be in the series.

Chapter 3 is up on Rise of the triceron Empire. it gets sad at the end of Chapter three though. a Triceron charactor dies.

I am working on my own one called Land Before Time: The Cave of Mystic sounds.

It has my new charcater Thunder in it but the story going to be a lot different to the rpg we doing called Thunder.

Since this one is not going to have all these charcaters in the rpg it going to be more tone down compared to this. I am writing it out and plan to post it later on in the year after I get back to the UK.

Hey guys my story is really forming well and it seem to be going perfectly fine at the moment done 4 chapters already of my Land Before Time story called Lane Before Time: The Cave of Msytic Sounds. it been working out better then I thought it would be bring in stages of events very well. I plan toget it completed so I can even put it up on Fanfiction when I finished it and back in the UK! once I done my website for my photos that I taking out here.

You know, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles once fought with a race of aliens called "Triceratons" that looked exactly like these Tricerons you describe.

Talking about that, I have checked a Star Trek Fanfiction story that has a Triceratops captain humaniod of course. to know more about it, you've have to read my story Fanfiction- Threehorn
you will will find called Star Trek: Cretaceous: Saurian Conflict Part 1, I think. not sure lol

On that URL I have a selection of Land Before Time stories on it, not sure if everyone here read it so just letting you know

But as the each seriesly like stories go by, there is going to be one story in the near furture with the captain in a shuttle craft getting throw into the Land Before Time dimension through a Dimensional Void that he detects on his travels back to the ship. (that as far I am going to say. leaving it all quiet till I write it up)
