Title: My Grandfather passed away
Post by: Nick22 on October 16, 2013, 08:41:53 AM: sad news to report guys. my grandfather, on my mom's side, passed away last night, so I will be taking off the next couple days to go to Indiana and attend his funeral.I'm not sure when i will be back, Friday or Saturday possibly. while he had been in poor health for years, it is still never easy to lose a loved one.

I hope that he had a long and fullfilled life and that in spite of the health problems you mentioned he passed on calm and peacefully. If you want to talk about it I'm always there trying to give what comfort I can offer.

I had this just earlier this summer with an uncle of mine, so I know how you feel :( Lots of love and strength to your and your family, but as I told my little bro: "None we love are truly gone, they watch over us from Heaven and as long as we remember them, they will always be with us."

Post by: Nick22 on November 20, 2013, 04:56:54 AM: He was from South Bend Indiana. was a graduate a Notre Dame and a lifelong Irish fan. just to answer your question. grandpas presence will hang over both thanksgiving and Christmas this year, si it will be a hard time then.
