My Grandfather passed away

sad news to report guys. my grandfather, on my mom's side, passed away last night, so I will be taking off the next couple days to go to Indiana and attend his funeral.I'm not sure when i will be back, Friday or Saturday possibly. while he had been in poor health for years, it is still never easy to lose a loved one.

I hope that he had a long and fullfilled life and that in spite of the health problems you mentioned he passed on calm and peacefully. If you want to talk about it I'm always there trying to give what comfort I can offer.

That is terrible news. It's never easy to loose a family member. Not sure what comfort I can offer.

He was from South Bend Indiana. was a graduate a Notre Dame and a lifelong Irish fan. just to answer your question. grandpas presence will hang over both thanksgiving and Christmas this year, si it will be a hard time then.

At least you have the rest of your family, and friends, to help. Though the loss is still strong, this soon afterwards.
