Well, this is basicly a bit of a interesting plot idea I had. It's a Sci-fi based RPG, all the characters are animal based, for example, humanoid cobras, humanoid foxes, with each race originating on earth. Now, these races have untied to form a faction called the "UAP" or United Allied Planets. They've been recieving bizzare transmissions from something called the Sworn. A few weeks after the first tranmission, a massive Sworn invasion fleet broke through a UAP blockade and attacked a UAP colony planet. The Sworn are a conglomeration of races, similer to the UAP, who follow an spider-like individual known as the High Sworn. The High Sworn promises his armies divine protection. The RPG picks up a year after this attack, with the UAP and the Sworn embroiled in bitter war.
Now, both sides use ballistics weaponry, nothing like lasers or anything. However, there are space ships, and stuff like that, obviously. I would take these roles:
Name: Kenneth Danvey
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: Cobra
Rank: Sergent
Affiliation: UAP
Appearance: Like all cobras, Sergent Danvey is thin, has a reptailian head, and the trademark hood. He wears basic UAP power armor, which usually covers most of his body, even off the battlefield. When not in battle, Sergent Danvey wears miltary green. Like all cobras, Danvey's scales are black.
Personality: Sergent Danvey is a no-nonsense, firey-tempered indvidual, who is never happier then when he is out on the battlefield fighting off the Sworn forces.
Name: Julia Henner
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Race: Cobra
Rank: Officialy a Corporal, but is really what's called a Spook, or a sniper specialist.
Affiliation: UAP
Appearance: Like other Cobras, Julia Henner is thin, has the characteristic hood, and black scales. Henner is considered attractive, but also considered a saving grace with her sniping skills. She wears lighter armor, due to here Sniper role, and usually wears blues when she's not on the battlefield.
Personality: Henner is sarcastic, and prefers to avoid direct conflict. Not because she doesn't want to fight, but because she's rather score a headshot on a unsuspecting foe. Henner sees every Sworn head as a bullseye, just waiting to be hit. She has incredible aim, leaving little wonder to why she specializes in sniping.
Name: The High Sworn
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Race: Spider
Rank: Grand Overlord of the Sworn Armies, and Priest to the Sworn's, as of yet, unknown god.
Affiliation: The Sworn
Appearance: All that is seen of the High Sworn is his eyes, and his four arms. He uses the other limbe to walk, although it would never be noticed, as his entire body is cloaked. He moves with disturbing elegence, as if he glides along the floor.
Personality: The High Sworn is cold and calculating, with his little pleasures, such as torture and murder. He loves to experiment, as well. Prisoners of the Sworn usually end up dead, or horribly deformed, or both. The High Sworn is also intensly loyal to the Sworn's god, who has been mentioned in several Sworn transmissions.
A little more information on the factions:
The UAP: The United Allied Planets was founded shortly after the colonization of other worlds. It was founded so that each planetary colony would have a single, unified army, that they could fight back at enemies with. It was founded on the Motto "Honor, Loyalty, and Justice".
The Sworn: Little is known about the Sworn's orgins, but it is known that at some point, a large amount of members of different races formed the organization around a supposedly holy being. The leader in always known as the High Sworn.

Gender: Male
Nickname: Will

Race: Siberian Husky
Rank: (I'll leave this blank for now, since being a pilot is the only part I've thought of)
Affiliation: UAP
Description (Physical and Psychological): Will's fur is white on the facial markings and tail tip, and is commonly seen wearing a black pilot jacket and sunglasses. Bright blue eyes. He is well-natured, and doesn't lose his calm very easily, although he may get ticked off sometimes when certain aspects about him are mentioned. He normally assumes a humourous character that can alternate between seriousness and playfulness.
Other Details: Likes cold temperatures.
So, I left some parts unchanged from the other RP and I'll be needing some info on what kind of armors are allowed, of if its make-your-own.
So, for now, I've got him. What do you think?

Pretty good. As for armors, well, a pilot, or anyone who's not going to be on the front lines, will be wearong light armor, like spooks and stuff. Infantry uses power armor, which can take around ten to fifteen shots before failing. The basic power armor is PA-1, the basic light armor is LA-1.
Also, I intend to introduce a type of enemy that wears, basicly, extra-light armor. It covers the entire body but offers virtually no protection. However, the enemy type doesn't really need that much protection. You'll see why when their introduced.
I should probably cover weapons, while I'm at it.
AR-22: Rapid-fire assault rifle.
R-23: Three-shot burst Rifle.
ROK-11: Rocket Launcher.
SRS-12: Sniper Rifle.
SMG-7: Submachine Gun.
Those are the basics, you can add more, but it's bullets, not lasers.

I see. I'll be putting up Will's armor as being LA-3 (Since the armors, I sppose, are level-guided, right?), for Will might take a terrestrial positon other than ship piloting.

Yeah, armors and weapons are level guided. For example, and extremely heavy armor would be PA-10, permitted only for those who specialize in demolitions.

Very well then. Oh, by the way, spacecrafts are probably laser-armed, right?

About locations, can you give a clue? Certainly, we'll be needing location references. After this last request, I'll be posting, just needing a location name.

Going down to a planet called Daera, to fight off attacking Sworn forces. You, being a pilot, would probably be escorting dropships down.
Oh, and as for fighters, appearance is up to you.
