Yeah, it's something isn't it?
However; I also belive that you sometimes just have to let yourself whine and think that everything sucks. Atleast for a while, then you can stop up and think.
I think we humans have grown a bad habit of making our problems bigger than they acctually are... Don't you agree?

This sounds great, though the audio clip had some trouble in my player.

I got this in a mail the other day, forwarded by a good friend of mine.
I think everyone should read it. Even though some points are directed towards older receivers.
Nevertheless; I find it inspiring.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lasse is the type you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say.

When someone asked him how he felt, he replied: 'If I were any better, I would be twins'.
He was a natural motivator. If an employee had a bad day was Lasse there telling the employee how to look positively at the situation.

I was curious to see this, so one day I went to Lasse and asked him: 'How do you manage? "

Lasse replied, 'Every morning I wake up and say to myself: You have two choices now. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood. I choose to be happy. "
Every time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or learn from it. I choose to learn from it.
Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can choose to highlight the positive side of life.
I choose the positive side of life.

'Certainly, but it is not quite so simple', I protested.

'It is', "said Lasse. Life is about choices. When you remove all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to the situation.
You choose how people affect your mood.
It is you who choose if you want to be good or bad mood.
Ultimately it is your choice how you live your life.

I reflected on what Lasse had been saying.

Shortly thereafter, I left the company to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of just reacting to it.
Many years later I heard that Lasse was involved in a serious accident with a case of falling 20 meters from a radio tower. After 18 hours of surgery and several weeks in intensive care, Lasse was released from hospital with rails along the back. I met Lasse approximately six weeks after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied: 'If I were any better, I would have been twins. Want to see my scars? "
I declined to see his wounds, but asked him what was going on in his head during the accident.

'The first thing I thought was about my yet unborn daughter', "said Lasse.

'So while I laid on the ground, I remembered that I had two choices. I could choose to live or I could choose to die. I choosed to live '.

'Were you not scared? Didn't you lose consciousness? " I asked

Lasse continued: 'the paramedics were great. They said the whole time that everything would go well. But when they wheeled me in the ER and I saw the expressions on the doctors and nurses' faces, I got really scared. It was written in their eyes, 'He is dying'. I knew I had to do something.

What did you do? "I asked.

Well, it was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me ', "said Lasse.
She asked if I was allergic to anything.
Yes' I replied. The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and shouted, 'Gravity'.

Through their laughter, I told them, 'I choose to live. Operate on me as if I was alive, not dead '.

Lasse survived thanks to the doctor's skill, but also because of his amazing attitude.
I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully.

The setting is, after all, everything.

Therefore, don't make yourself any worries for the tomorrow. It may bear its troubles by itself. Each day has enough of its own torment '. Matthew 6:34

Actually, today is the day of tomorrow that you worried about yesterday.

When it feels hard, think like this .....

I am thankful ...... for the teenager who whines that he needs to wash up... because then he is home and not on the streets.

.... the taxes I pay because it means that I have a job.

.... because I have to clean after a party because it means that I have friends.

.... for clothes that is a bit cramped because that means I have food on the table.

.... for the lawn that needs to be cut, windows to be washed and gutters that need to be cleaned, I have a home.

.... for the shade which monitors my work, it means that I'm out in the sun.

.... for all complaints about politicians because it means that we have the freedom to express opinions.

.... for the parking lot that lies furthest away because it means that I can afford to have a car.

.... for my high electricity bill, it means I have it warm.

.... the woman in the pew behind me in church who sings false, because it means that I can hear.

.... the laundry pile on the table for it means I have clothes to wear.

.... for fatigue and aching muscles at the end of the day - I have been working hard.

.... for the alarm clock to ring in the morning, it means that I'm alive.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you think? It kind of provides a different perspective on things.

Almost like, to watch a photo of the Earth from the outer ring of Saturn, and think to yourself:
"Here. Here on this little, tiny dot in the infinite universe. Here are we with all our personal troubles."

Best wishes to all of you. :wave

Human Nature by Michael Jackson

Looking out across the night-time
The city winks a sleepless eye
Hear her voice shake my window
Sweet seducing sighs

Get me out into the night-time
Four walls won't hold me tonight
If this town is just an apple
Then let me take a bite

If they say, why, why? Tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why does he do me that way?
If they say, why, why? Tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why does he do me that way?

Reaching out to touch a stranger
Electric eyes are everywhere
See that girl, she knows I'm watching
She likes the way I stare

If they say, why, why? Tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why does he do me that way?
If they say, why, why? Tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why does he do me that way?
I like livin' this way, I like lovin' this way

Looking out across the morning
The city's heart begins to beat
Reaching out, I touch her shoulder
I'm dreaming of the street

If they say, why, why? Tell 'em that is human nature
Why, why does he do me that way?
If they say, why, why? Ooh, tell 'em
Why, why does he do me that way?

If they say, why, why? Cha cha cha
Why, why does he do me that way?
If they say why, why, why? Ooh, tell 'em
Why, why does he do me that way?

If they say, why, why? Ooh, tell 'em
Why, why does he do me that way?
If they say, why, why? Da da da
Why, why does he do me that way?
I like livin' this way
