A better topic might be a "why did the series end?" instead of "save the lost cause!"

The simple answer is that the films lost too much money, and the 13th film was of questionable quality at best.

As far as I see things the series is dead unless it is sold off to some other company who will be able to make a profit off of it. T.V series and TLBT 13 both might very well have been considered the last Howrah for TLBT series. It sucks, but that's how things are. I do have a feeling though sometime in the future the series might be resurrected, but that's another story.

Your Probaly right, an example would be: Bats which was made in 1999, and Bats: Human Harvest was made in 2007, lonh enough for fans to forget about the original.

I didn't know Bats: Human Harvest was related to the older movie Bats.

Wikipedia says it is, and no admins ever reverted it as vandilism or unsourced information, so it must be a sequel. But by the circle of events, I think it's more of a prequel, cause something like it was mentioned in Bats. But lets stick to the LBT XIV petion instead Bats.

with all due respect scratte, it is very unlikely there will be an lbt 14 in the future. for one, there have been 12 sequels, and once you reach that many, theres often little incentive to do more. while i understand these are not theather releases, but rather straight to video fare, the fact remains.
Winner of these:

While we would all like another LBT movie, it's not going to happen. Unless the same thing that happened to Power Rangers happens and the rights are bought by some other big company, but I highly doubt it. Thirteen is sometimes an unlucky number, and considering LBT XIII was easily the worst movie in the LBT franchise, Universal most likely finally decided to pull the plug and concern their time with more important projects.

The point is an online petition is not going to change anything, because most people don't care about LBT anymore. You can argue that people still do, but not enough to keep the franchise alive. I'm sorry, I know you put a lot of thought into this, and it would be wonderful if it were to work, but unfortunately it will not.

Now let's say you were to acquire the signature of every person residing in North America, Asia, and everywhere else the LBT is viewed, then you might actually get somewhere. However, I am NOT implying that you do that, because that would be impossible.
