Title: Using a Router as a Repeater
Post by: Littlefoot1616 on December 11, 2010, 08:53:17 AM
Hey gang!

I've been offline for a while coz we just got a new ISP for broadband. The ISP supplied us with a router but certain control freak members of the household want their unit hardwired to the modem pinning the sodding thing in one corner of the house (namely the farthest one  ). I thought that maybe I could use the old router we previously had as a repeater/signal booster so that more of the house could be covered for using the net.

So far what I've looked up has just given me headache and only bits and pieces of their instructions seem to work. Does anyone know of any way to rig a Belkin N1 router to another modem and use it as a repeater/signal booster? Any help would be appreciated before I turn the bloody thing into a frizbee and let it tour the world via my bedroom window!  :p

Cheers guys! ;)
