Hello. I'm new here. I am also a fan of The Land Before Time. I've seen all of the movies except for the last one. I also like the TV series.

I was surprised to find out that Spinosaurus was featured in LBT 12: The Great Day Of The Flyers because the other Land Before Time movies did not have Spinosaurus in them.

It may be that it was partly inspired by the fact that Spinosaurus was somewhat popularized by Jurassic Park 3. Anyway, I don't think that there has ever been a single land before time sequel (TV series episodes not included) in which no new dinosaur species was introduced. However, in the earlier episodes there was not as much emphasis as in the later sequels on the new species characters or on the inclusion of not so familiar species.
