Pothinus (or Photinus: don’t know what the right spelling is) – Chief Eunuch of king Ptolemy’s court, who controlled the kingdom of Egypt at the time of the arrival of Julius Caesar and his army.

Chomper: Mmm...These treesweets are delicious!

Cera’s father: It’s no use for you even trying to do it, Cera. We threehorns have always been big losers. We can’t do anything.

To Dwalin: Stitch would win. He can carry 3000 times his weight, makig him stronger, besides, I've no clue who's Asterix.

Asterix is a character from French cartoons: a small Gaul warrior who uses a magic potion in fighting Romans: if he drinks it, he becomes superstrong. It is not said what is the biggest weight he can lift, but when he gave this potion to some Egyptians who were building a palace, they could easily carry around stone blocks much bigger than themselves with only one hand. And in the film ( a remake of this cartoon) Asterix's friend Obelix under the effect of the same potion was able to lift the Sphinx statue of Giza, which was MUCH more than 3000 times heavier than himself.
So I think Asterix would smash the little monster.

Granted, but you lose internet connection every time you try to use it.

I wish Yoda had killed Darth Sidious in episode III.

I have not seen "Animals of Farthing wood" yet, but Asmodeus is, in my opinion, a loser: he lost the battle to a single mouse not even trained in combat! So he would probably lose.
Let's try this: Petrie vs Piglet ( the new adventures of Winnie Pooh)

I have read the book and seen the film, but I liked the book more. In this I agree with Malte279: too much important scenes have been let out. I was also upset because the horse which played Arthax, who drowned in the book, really drowned during the filming.
I also liked the book "Der satanarch‰ol¸genialkohˆllische Wunschpunsch”.

A question: why does Chomper have 3 fingers in LBT 5 and in the series? In LBT 2 he had only 2 fingers, like all other Tyrannosauruses.

I have 2 questions I was wondering about for a long time:

1) What happened to the Entwives? Were they all killed? In some sources Tolkien says they probably were, but then I found this quote:

As for the Entwives: I do not know. ... But I think in TT, 80-81 it is plain that there would be for the Ents no re-union in 'history' -- but Ents and their wives being rational creatures would find some 'earthly paradise' until the end of this world: beyond which the wisdom neither of Elves nor Ents could see. Though maybe they shared the hope of Aragorn that they were 'not bound for ever to the circles of the world and beyond them is more than memory.' .... Letters, 419 (#338)

This is rather confusing. If the Ents cannot have any reunion in “history”, so why is paradise that they are supposed to find called “earthly”? Do you have any ideas?

2) Who killed the leader of the Nazgul - Merry or Eowyn? Eowyn struck him on his head while Merry just wounded him in his knee, but Eowyn's sword was just a normal weapon, so it shouldn't do any harm to a magical creature, while Merry's sword was able to do so.
There can be also some misunderstanding about the prophecy: it stated that “no living man could harm the Nazgul”. But does the term “man” indicate a gender, so it means that the Nazgul wouldn’t be killed by a man, but by a woman or did it indicate a race, so that means he wouldn't be killed by a man, but by a hobbit?

A last observation about Snape that I forgot to put in the previous posts. To make an example how far did many Snape fans go with their admiration for him: on a Russian forum I found a thread called St.Snape's Cathedral ( it is 98 screen pages long now)! When I told there what I thought about Snape, one of them even tried to explain my dislike for him with my young age. ( I was 18 then and most of them around 30).  :lol

I believe that the "episode 9" we have is really episode 1, or at least, the first episode shown on YTV.
What episode are you exactly referring to? I have just downloaded nearly all the episodes and would like to watch them in the correct sequence of events, but I still don't understand, which of the episode guides that can be found on internet is the right one.
