I was surprised about my drawing skills to be honest. I didn't know I have this talent.
But I'm only good, when I draw something, that is already existing( =a screenshot, a photography etc). I'm mostly failing in drawing out of imagination.

I used to think the same thing when I started drawing LBT fanart. I started by drawing from screenshots and as I did so I sort of... learned the build of the character and could draw it from scratch. <--- At the moment this only applies to longnecks for me.

I have the exact same problem (although I sculpt rather than draw). I'm decent at recreating something someone else has drawn, but creatures or objects straight from my mind never work out the way they should ;p
