The basic plot for this RPG is Four humans dissapear from different times and end up outside the great valley. They must work together if they are to survive and get back home. They come to realise that they were brought there for a reason. but there are secrets that threaten not only them but the Great Valley as well

No controlling or killing other peoples characters without permission from the owner of the character.
The rp will start by the human characters being transported back to the great valley.

I can do Petrie. I may do one of the adults but I'll wait to see if others are interested in them before I pick one of them.

The human characters are meant to be human OC's. I wanted people to come up with a human OC if they signed up to rp as one of the humans.

I have often rped as Ducky so can do her if no one else wants to rp as her. Or if someone wants to rp as Ducky I could do Cera instead.

Belmont if your character is a private he should marines since the navy doesn't have the rank of private. Or if you wanted him to be in the navy his rank would be a petty officer third class.

Maybe a combination of the two so he could treat both the dinos and the humans.

No I meant your character having both vet and doctor training.

I've never heard of that before. Except in a char I did in a cliffhanger campaign a friend ran 20 years, or so, ago. Though he'd be likely to powerful since he also knew hard sciences (several engineering, physics, parachronic phsyics, ect, chemistry, ect) and could pull out a handy gadget several times per session.

Well it is your character so it's your choice if your character is a doctor or a vet.

Well Kor it might be better if your character is a doctor in case any of the human characters get hurt there would be at least someone to help them.

It's enough info Kor but he should at least have a first aid kit with him. and the first choice of where he was before going through time seems the be the best of the choices.

Where he was going in the car before he got popped or whatever away, or do you mean while he was sky diving, or something else?
Wasn't sure if he'd just have a first aid kit or a his doctor's bag, or which would make more sense.

Hey Sam,
When your character arrives in the Great Valley, is he still in his plane? If he is, does he bail out? If he does, I think that a good reason for doing so is that the "smoking mountains" is erupting and spewing volcanic ash. The ash clogs his engines, and he has to bail out.

Should our characters land in the Mysterious Beyond or the Great Valley?
If they land in the Mysterious Beyond, should someone rp as Redclaw and his gang?

I was thinking the mysterous beyond then gathering together and meeting the gang while they are on one of the adventures and getting to the valley that way.

Oops. My character (SUV and all) got warped to a remote section of the Great Valley (near the border of the Mysterious Beyond).

When and how should the two groups of characters meet? Also, when should we switch to the "Great Valley" storyline?

Well I was thinking of Red claw finding our characters Dima and chasing us towards the other humans and we end up running into littlefoot and the gang. As for switching to the Great Valley story line we could start that now.

Erm, what should the characters do?
I plan to have Deimos fall into a time warp that strands him in modern city and the others have to some how get him back.

That does sound like it would be interesting. My character could be in the middle of his story when Deimos falls into a time warp and the others hear him.

What is the "main plot" of this RP? When are we going to get started on that?

The main plot is that the humans have to complete a task to stop time from ripping itself apart. It is starting soon. One other thing the time portals are part of it.

I've been thinking on the rainbowfaces from the 7th movie appearing and trying to explain to the humans characters what their task is and what will happen if they fail.

Or also, they can go back to Cleve's time with the help of the Rainbow faces and stop the Philadelphia Experiment, the experiment that caused the time warp.

I like your second idea but we could also use both ideas with there only being a few portals in the mysterious beyond and I could rp as the female rainbow face or both unless someone esle wants to rp as the male rainbow face.

Are there going to end up being any survivors left from the previous plane crash that the group of humans are looking for?
And being the male rainbowface would be fun :D. sounds like it would be a temporary part (we meet them once, and they explain what has to be done). is that right?

Not entirely they will play a major part. As for survivors from they other planes that does sound like a good idea since at least a few would survive the crash.

It's ok with me. & with time travel being what it is he may not have been there long, or maybe he was. Any passage of time from the crash could fit. Not sure if there was a time frame in mind of how long since the crash happened.

Only thing is I don't know much about historical wars and battles, or about the military either. I'd think a surviving pilot from those places would be in the military, right? Maybe I could have amnesia or something? If we have it that a significant amount of time has passed since the crash, that could also explain why I didn't try looking for the portals myself. I would just be concerned with surviving.

It sounds like a great idea. Just write a short intro about how you were flying a routine training mission in an TBF Avenger. Then, all of a sudden, you ended up in the LBT universe. You run out of fuel and crash land your plane. You hit your head on something, and lost your memory.

EDIT: My character doesn't remember his own name, so I thought it would be fun for the characters in the RP to have to think up a name to call him. Sound good?

I plan on introducing a fourth character that anyone can use.
He is a fast-biter name Raptix. He has purple-blue feathers and I plan for him to sneak into the encampment a little later - possibly when the group is eating dinner.

I remember me and cera going outside the cave to meet up with Diemos, then everyone else coming out, then a million posts, then me realizing I've done nothing with Cera :blink:

I believe that she is somewhere near the crash site, although we have been posting rather quickly.

Another question. How long has the latest plane wreck were at been there? I've been playing my character like he remembers seeing it a long time ago, but other's are talking about it might have only been there a few days. I'm kind of confused. Is it part of the original group of planes that Adam was with, or something else?

Because Frank saw the 109 before he disappeared, I'm assuming that the 109 has only been there for a few days. Because no one saw the Avengers (Your plane) disappear, I'm assuming that you have been there for maybe a longer period of time.

It could be that, or if there was time drift who knows how long it may have been.
