With the conclusion of the appreciated member voting, the 2021 Forum Awards have now officially come to a close. We would like to thank all of you who have voted in the awards and who have made the forum a better place with your participation.

The winners are now authorized to pick the award banners from the draft thread and add it to their signatures and also as a post to this topic so that the runner up in each category knows when it is their turn to pick a banner. Runner ups may take their pick after the winners (runners up will need to pick a different draft from the winner but they do not need to mark their award in any way as a runner up).

For the time being, we can wait until he returns to the forum before picking out a banner. If his absence lasts more than a few weeks, however, then we might grant you an exception to waiting and allow you to pick out a banner first.

A project editor is always pleased to hear his work is appreciated! I feel very humbled by the support from all of you, and I hope we can keep this project running smoothly in the foreseeable future.  It's an honor to be named Proactive Member of the year for my tireless work!  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart to all those who have helped me with this project and to those who cheered me on to keep it going!  It wouldn't have been possible without everyone who got involved in the project.

Congrats to the winners, you've all earned it!! And I have to be honest, I forgot Runner Up was even a thing, so that's a pleasant surprise.

I have a question about the banners, though...how is it that you make it so they're visible whether or not you're logged in? I've never been able to get that to work with certain banners, though there are two others currently in my signature that seem to work.

Also, I hope this isn't too off topic, but I've had an embarrassing realization: last year, I totally forgot to request banners for my fanfic award entry and my monthly fanfic prompt participation. Please let me know if it would still be possible to get those banners somehow and, if so, who I can contact for that.

^ If you copy the image location directly from an attachment on the forum (e.g. the ones I posted in the drafts topic), this will only show for members who are logged in. This is because attachments are not visible to guests, so references to them aren't visible either.

If you wish to have your signature awards to be shown at all time, I recommend saving them onto your computer, and uploading them to another image hosting service and copy the image location from that website. I can personally recommend imgur.com. That way, the images in your signature will be visible to both guests and members.

As for last year's banners, we can make sure they get to you. @rhombus would probably know best about the fanfic prompt participation, but I can help making your fanfic award entry banner (I just need the correct information to put on there )

I’m going to pick out my banners now due to the fact that the people who won the awards I got runner-up on didn’t pick there’s out yet because they were inactive, so I’ll pick mine out now (don’t worry, I got permission).
