Hailey sniffled, her bravado stifling somewhat when faced with the wizard who could kill her with an afterthought. "Chong, I'm so
bored, she protested, her combat stance relaxing into a depressed slump. "You've been so successful on this planet that you don't need me to do anything. I've been wasting away in this gym."
The sprinkler was spritzing everything in the room despite the fire already being extinguished, Hailey helped it stop with a tiny flame spritz from an offhand flick of her wrist. "I'm glad you're successful, and I bet your other underlings are happy just sitting on their ass making millions, but I wasn't reborn to lounge around and play video games. Isn't there anyone you need killed, or a valuable resource you need stolen?"

"Didja see the way this bird smashed tha' fight?" Hapsburg chattered excitedly, prepping Kerzach for emergency surgery. "It was incredible! Ah wish I'd put down some dosh, not a soul saw it comin'!"
Mercy delicately extracted the spear and cleaned the wound. She bit her lip. "My staff can handle most of these wounds," she reported, training it on Kerzach's body. "But I can't regrow arms. That being said, I'm quite proficient in creating artificial limbs, but they'll look...mechanical." Hapsburg nodded cheerfully and grabbed a bonesaw to clean the stump, but Mercy stopped him. "Wait. Bring him out of anesthesia. I need to talk to him."
Hapsburg pumped Kerzach full of painkillers; he wouldn't feel a thing while they spoke. "Hello there," Mercy smiled kindly at the Cassowary after waking him. "You took quite a lot of damage after that fight, but you'll live. We've fixed most of it, but...you have a choice to make about your missing arm."
She activated a disc on her hand, and a hologram of a robotic arm appeared. "I can build you one of these to replace the limb you lost," she explained. "There are four available models, each with their own design and abilities. The
Lightweave model can generate barriers of light that block incoming enemy fire, and can also generate holograms much like the one I'm using here. The
CQC model lets you fly and jump through the air propelled by your own concussive force, and is extremely deadly when wielded in melee combat. The
ranged model gives you superhuman reflexes and pinpoint accuracy when wielding firearms. And finally the
Svenska model lets you repair any technology or machine whose schematic you download to its thumb drive, plus it can shoot molten lava to zone out an area. It's for more of a cerebral, defensive sort of person."
She handed him the hologram so he could cycle through the models. "Alternately, if I give you a lethal injection, I can bring you back from the dead. There will be no lasting repercussions and the process will restore your body to its healthiest state, meaning you'll have your biological arm back," she finished. "Take your time and let me know what you want."
