Oh my gosh, that's positively adorable!

You should be able to add the image directly by typing the following around the link:

Code: [Select]

I've tested it just now and it seems to work with your link :)

These are great! I actually enjoy drawing Ruby myself, even though I haven't done so inn a long time haha.
Also gotta love the "Hand are hard! lol" comment  :PLoofah
Keep it up!

Thank you for the instructions, but unfortunately I can't get it to work for some reason.

Can you clarify, please?

When you click "insert image" button or type
Code: [Select]
[img][/img] with your keyboard, and then place image link between these opening and closing tags, image doesn't show up on your screen anyway?
If so, then try it again in next post - we will look if it is displayed on our screens. Maybe it's just browser visual problem on your side.

Edit:

wait. I quoted your first post, and this is what I see

Code: [Select]
https://pm1.narvii.com/8019/0a6bd94d183d2746340339a277132a7984cc0047r1-658-994v2_hq.jpg

no, it has to be like this:

Code: [Select]

Just opening tag, pic url, and closing tag. :)

Thank you! I think I got it.

Back to the topic, I'd say I am better at drawing Ruby than I am at all the other characters to be honest. I'm working on it though!

I could see this as plutonic, that theu can’t hug, but for some reason I sense a romantic tinge between Ruby and Littlefoot. Am I reading into it too much?

Great sketches! Your illustrations look so like the characters in the series, you even caught their personalities. :)

Indeed, I can see them being more than just friends, their personalities match kind of. But I won't go off on this too much since I know people prefer LittlefootXAli (Littlefoot and Ruby are better though in my opinion! )

I haven't drawn lbt characters in a while, it was a little tricky at first. And number 3 is probably the least I can see her doing. She can be silly at times...in her own way. Anyway, thank you all for your wonderful feedback!

Littlefoot and Ali’s greatest hurdle is Ali is part of a migrating herd, wheras Ruby lives in the Great Valley.

I can’t believe it, I am now Team Rubyfoot💜! :)

Exactly! More time for them to get closer!  ;) Plus Ali is kinda busy with Rhett, I donno what their  relationship will turn out.

It was unclear at the end of “The Great Longneck Scheme” if Rhett’s lies effected his chances with Ali. The fact he confessed and saved Chomper, makes me inclined to believe Ali still loved him and sees that his fibs were due to insecurity and wanting to seem tough. Rhett is part of the Migrating herd, so he has more time to develop amore with Ali, while Littlefoot sees her only on special visits.

I think Littlefoot is likely to love someone of another species like Ruby, just like he was Chomper’s surrogate father in LBTII. In fact, Ruby being Chomper’s guardian gives her more in common with Littlefoot, them both having been caretakers of the gentlest sharptooth. :)

At the end of it all, I hope Ali found her partner rather than being lonely. She is a sweet character after all.

I don't think different species will be a border for Littlefoot, he wouldn't care if Ruby was a fastrunner or not, he would love her just as he did with Chomper.

Huh... funny you should say that, there are a lot of fanfics out there that ships them. But I see more Ali and Littlefoot pairings more often though.

These are my two in progress ocs for lbt.

Sure the first one doesn't seem too unique, but keep in mind that they are still being developed. I might change a few things here and there, I'm even considering on changing the species of the first one.

The purple Ruby look alike is called Emily. (ok, let me just tell you how gorgeous of a name that is. ) She isn't too approachable, it takes her a while to feel comfortable around someone. Who knows? What if they decide to stab you in the back the next day?

Let me fill in on her back story. (which I haven't worked on too much, but let me explain what I have so far. ) Emily was close friends with... someone ... I haven't really focused on them yet.  :rhett_smile  And after a while, they became mates. Her partner wanted children, but Emily told him that she wasn't quite ready to be a mother. Unfortunately, he forced her into mating and a boy named Hitch was born! Haven't designed him though since I think i'll change the species all together.

Here's Emily by the way. (ill stick with this design for now...)

The next one, we gonna call him Cricket. He was found as an egg by Emily, and this is kinda similar to the hatching of Chomper. He learned leafeater and all that. And coincidentally, he is about the same age as Chomper.

Here da boy is

The first sketches are very sweet and heartwarming. And I agree - hands are hard.
It's always interesting to see other people's LBT characters! Emily is beautiful, and I can't blame her for being cautious, considering her traumatic past and all :< Poor lass... I wish her the best.
Cricket looks like a fun fellow and I absolutely love his name.

Can't wait to see more art from you c:

Too many Ruby legs : 3

Ok, maybe I over exaggerated a bit, but I think it makes it look more graceful!

Honestly, when there's no face and arms and looks like she wears some mask...
It's creepy... O_O

But maybe because I played too much horror games lately. XD

Actually - well drawn doodles!

Interesting thoughts, but  I only drew down her sketching technique, which means no facial expression, no details.

And the fluffy thing in the left is my original character. she was inspired by Ruby completely. Here's how she came to be. When I first got into land before time, I wanted to draw Ruby, but I didn't really know how so she was this neck-less chibi style. I slowly developed her over the years. She has no feathers, and is covered with fur. Later on she became my unnique character with a different universe to live in.
I might get into more detail with her later, but the reason why she is 'tramatized' is because she's looking back at what she once was.

These doodles might be a bit sloppy, but I enjoyed sketching them out. Thanks for your feedback!

I was scrolling down in my gallery and that's when I spotted this.

It's one of my old drawings I did back in 2019.

I would like to point out the mistakes, but I don't want to focus too much on that.

Honestly, I wouldn't know the reason why Chomper would do this, they could be just playing, but if you have a better explanation let me know!

Being the small biter that he is, Ruby finds it amusing, despite his little teeth biting down on her tail.

I did this one pretty quick, and I'd sy the shading was going ok until I got to Chomper, he just has darker colors.

Perhaps Chomper is being a little cheeky during a game of tag, and Ruby finds it amusing but in a "please let go of my tail" kind of way. Your teeth hurt, little buddy!  :Chomp

Oh hey, look it's Chomper!- Wait....

What's up peeps! I'm back and I brought along an entry for the monthly Halloween themed fanart prompt.
(woof, what a mouth full, am I right?)

(DISCLAMER- BLOOD WARNING)

Featuring a very VERY uncharacteristic Chomper. I tried to make him look as innocent as possible.

He looks a bit too chunky... Maybe it's just the angle? Anyway, I had fun making this! While dealing with frustration at the end because my computer was being slow. The wonders of being a digital artist.  :chomper

Let me know what you think! Dino feet are so hard to draw, I don't know how you wonderful artist do it.  Alright, enough from me, see you all in the next fanart prompt thing! :rainbowwave

I haven't been on this forum in a while, so I'm a bit late to the party, but it's great to see more art from you!
I really like the one with Ruby and Chomper. I love the shading in it as I have a huge soft spot for pastel colors. I also adore their expression, Ruby being mildly concerned and not knowing if she should treat it as light hearted play or if she should be worried about Chomper's behavior, and Chomper just... going at it x'D.

And with the newest drawing I love the juxtaposition of a cute pastel colored dinosaur covered in blood! Usually it's either cute or scary and gory, but I think that it was a very smart and original move to combine the two. Like, yes, Chomper is a cute little fella, but we shouldn't forget that he is a sharptooth, after all.

Good work, as always!

Phew, I finally finished my entry for the alternate universe fanart prompt! We'll title this Dinos and TV!

Sorry I posted this last minute. You see I was grounded from my tablet ( because I still live with my parents, lol) so I did this on my phone!

Here we have the gang living peacefully in the human realm. Yes, it's simple, but I really like this au!

Let's take a closer look...
-We have Littlefoot watching tv, football maybe? (I don't understand sports :rhett_smile
-Next we have Cera on top of the couch, wishing there was something else on the screen.
-Petrie and Ducky are perched on the tv. (they so tiny and I love them!)
-Spike is just doing his thing. :P
-Chomper is drawing on the floor
-And Ruby comes out with freshly made cookies

I love the lighting in this one, It was late when I did this, so if there's some mistakes (like the lazy cookies) It's because I was tired. this Idea has been on my mind for ages, and I'm glad I got to do this!

Personally I suck at drawing on mobile, so I'm in awe. This is an incredibly cute drawing and well done, given the circumstances 👍.

if people on twitter saw this it would mean to them that you ruined the original plot of the story. So they will rage at you because you made a picture.

You never saw any fanarts/fanfictions before, ManOfWar? No matter what fiction universe they were made about?  :Dducky
Well, check them out. You will discover many new things. Half of them pictures things that was not presented in original books, movies or cartoons. And twitter is literally FULL of such fanarts.

-----------

Aww, so cute! ^^

For drawing made on mobile, it is very good!!! :D

Only thing that bugs me very much is a veeery strange connection between Cera's body and head. :O
Other mistakes become unnoticable iif you look at the picture as the whole, even not considering that it was drawn on mobile, so that's ok. :D

I think it's rude to assume that people "wouldn't survive another day" over twitter drama, especially since you haven't said anything nice about any of the drawings in this topic. All social media platforms and forums have people who will disagree with opinions, headcanons and alternate universes, so instead of focusing on a hypothetical twitter situation, I encourage you to focus on the positive and the art on display.

Believe me, I know the 'drama' that comes along with social media. I doesnt bother me too much. Fanart is fanart. There are worse things out there.

if people on twitter saw this it would mean to them that you ruined the original plot of the story. So they will rage at you because you made a picture.

This is adorable, queen! I love how tuckered out Cera is, haha. Your art style is amazing :)

Here's some cute Ceras while you're waiting!

Someone really liked my Ruby art so they requested I draw their character. I don't know his name yet, but they mentioned he is a bit muscular.

Again I did this on my phone. I tried to get the lineart to look like my sketchy style, It's not the same, but it's all I've got.

Hm... well it all comes down to the drawing style. I've been drawing for as long as I could remember, but I took drawing seriously 4 years ago. Lots of other artists made me inspired of how they did art, so I incorporated it into my own style. So yeah, hope that answered your question!

Cuddles an Licks!

Been some time hasn't it? Anyway, here's my response to the couple prompt for this month! Wasn't able to get it on valentine's day, but at least I got it before the deadline.

Here we've got the best lbt couple enjoying each other's company! The image quality is kinda bad, and I'm definatly going to do this again in the near future, and yes it will be digital.

Them! I can't get over how gorgeous they are! Sorry Ali, Littlefoot's kinda busy.

Ha gotta admit while that artstyle isn't strictly my cup ofvtea. It is kinda cute and funny seeing Littlefoot and co hanging out in a modern day living room.  Especially with Chomper colouring and Cera slouched on the sofa

Thanks everyone for the feedback on my traditional Cera pic!

Now, this was originally going to be for the previous art prompt thing, titled "Fight" But here's where I goofed up alright... I was drawing the sketch, and I just realized that what I was drawing was not a fight scene. So I had to restart, and that's why I didn't make it in time before the deadline. So there.

Also, below that is my new profile pic. LoL

Wow, never thought I'd see Cera look this adorable, but her face perfectly balances that with threehorn attitude.  You seem much better at drawing expressions than I am.

That shot with Littlefoot running from a sharptooth strikes me as hilarious for some reason, even if it's not exactly the fight scene the prompt called for.

Great drawing of Ruby too!  She looks so serene.

Thank you all for your kind words and comments! Yes, I really enjoyed that Littlefoot and sharptooth sketch, It's so amusing for some reason!

Anyway, here's a thing I did a couple days ago for my friend on fanfiction.Net. It was for their fanfic titled, The time of great growing. As you can tell, it's a Littlefoot X Cera centered story. Littlecera forever!!!

I'm so happy they really liked it. Although backgrounds aren't my greatest  strengths, the shading doesn't look right to me either. Aw what the heck, It'll do.

Here's a link to their fanfic, which also features a very popular pairing of Ducky X Petrie-  https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10566392/1/The-Time-of-the-Great-Growing

Ok cool, so I probably won't post anything in here until the sep/oct drawing prompt thing. And to show that I'm ACTUALLY  doing it this time (this is what happens when you procrastinate frick-) I have provided you with a small sketch out of the five others I've done.

By the way it took me so long to get this hecking sketch on here. My phone wouldn't let me save it to Drive or whatever. If the attachment doesn't work I sware I will  cry :ChomperPOG

Also this is supposed to be tricia. She ready to distroy things.  :bestsharptooth

Here's a lbt character I remade. Remeber Cricket?

He used to look like this-
(https://dthezntil550i.cloudfront.net/7u/latest/7u2108260323233640010180732/1280_960/6357d446-7497-4750-b561-161e4a887402.png)

Now, he looks like this-
(see attachment below)

He's about 10 yrs old. He's a mononykus, which is like a bird like dino with only one claw on each hand. I know right?
In the lbt world, he's known as a one-claw. And yes, he's a meat eater, but being his small size, he eats bugs, like  Chomper! :ChomperPOG

The shading isn't sitting well with me, perhaps I used the wrong color, or too much of it.
I plan on putting him in my fanfic, along with some other unmentioned ocs that I need to make designs for!

Next is a request I did for RainbowfaceProtage, featuring their oc on the right! Since they haven't responded to a pm conversation, there's a chance this might come through with some tweeking. I just want to get the character right! If you ever get the chance, Rainbow, please let me know if this needs any changes!

Aww, Guido finally found love! Sigh... anyway, backgrounds aren't my strongest suit. But it's ok, I have time to practice before opening comissions, which I plan to really soon!

(cough cough yes I'm still doing the drawing prompt! As SRFG has said before, this is kinda like homework now, but in a fun way of course!

Good, as always!

But why so huge change for character, why not creating new one?

Honestly, that's a really good point. I just wanted to change the design, but have the same idea in mind. I wanted him to be a sharptooth, and his personality contradicted who he really was. But a trex wasn't working out for me, so I turned him into a more unique species.

eh hem hem, this isn't last minute what are you talking about...

We are at the last day for this drawing prompt, but here I am, posting a very quick response of the Redemtion/corruption drawing prompt! A sketch is all the time I had to do, since I was stuck between three options, and if you care enough, this is what they were:

-An evil side of Littlefoot where he's demanding Chomper to leave the valley, (i was so close to doing this one)
-One where Tricia turns evil. I actually did a doodle of it, but the idea in mind wasn't enough. Which is what came to my final choice
-Thud's redemtion!

Honestly, we were so close to having this as canon. That one episode where, after Chomper saves him, Thud lures the rest of the sharptooth away from the gang, which is such an interesting bit to watch! In this really quick sketch, we see Thud sitting on guard while the gang is asleep in the Mysterious beyond. The group was journeying through the Mysterious beyond, and they happened to bump into their well trusted sharptooth friend. He insists that he keep watch for any sharpteeth while the gang rests up. Such a protective and fatherly man he is!

See attachment below followed by a scrapped Tricia doodle. She's off to create chaos. : )

Aww, even Thud looks cute in your drawings. :P
Tricia is too cute to create any chaos. XD
But my favorite is relaxing sleeping Chomper.  :ChomperAmused

Ooh, looks like we ended up with similar ideas for the redemption prompt (although I didn't finish mine whoops)! Very well done as always!

Looks like I've missed a decent amount of art from you. I agree with Sneak with possibly just making a new OC for the new design, but maybe because I like the original design you had for Cricket!

A really neat concept for the prompt! That indeed was one of the more interesting episodes and I liked the exchange between Chomper and Thud throughout. Seems like there's honor among sharpteeth in the mysterious beyond after all. Well done!

Thanks, the four of you! I'm glad you all enjoyed my previous doodles! I'm currently working on bigger things, so for now, here's a sketch of Ducky!

I never draw her which is a shame, but I wanted to test my knowlage by drawing her by memmory.  I gave her rock because I didn't know where to put her hands lol

(don't question the name of the attachment haha-)

Thanks for the feedback on Ducky, everyone! I wouldn't say she's the hardest to draw, but then again I haven't drawn every member from the gang, which is something I need to do.

November/December drawing promt
(Yes, I made it fancy this time) Alright, here's my response to the "Be careful what you wish for" Prompt, and I immediatly thought of @rhombus 's story, The Seven Hunters. If you've never read it, (how dare you) It's where the kids incounter the stone of cold fire, and I guess you could say their wish didn't come out as expected. They have to learn how to adapt as sharpteeth. It's really unfortunate for them, but it also comes with benefits of course! The writing sounds so  professional and descriptive! Speaking of, watch out for all the violence. I mean come on, we're dealing with sharpteeth here right?  :taunttroll There's also lots of adult jokes so keep that in mind, lol.

I can't express how much I love this fanfic, so why not show my happiness through some fanart? Not sure If I want Rhombus to see this because I rushed on making a design for Littlefoot (Seeker)

Went for some thicker lineart, not sure how to feel about it. Again, not my best work, but I'm glad to have finally done this!

Well done Jewel! Certainly seems like a fit for the prompt (you must excuse me for I have not actually read The Seven Hunters, even though I know how well known it is for being a good fanfic. I just don't really read fanfics to being with haha. I at least got to make these lovely Taunt emotes though  :taunttroll  :tauntclaw )

Is Seeker crying there upon reflection of their choices or is it in response to something else in the story? Well done!

You've never read it, how dare you!/j  :p

I meant for Seeker to be thinking back on all the things they had to go through in order to survive as sharpteeth. As in, killing close friends and living creatures. And no worries about your absence, hope you had fun during the holidays!
