So I don't have to type my fingers to death (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bone_(comics))
My favorite characters are Bartleby (SQUEEEEEE  ) and the Stupid Stupid Rat Creatures (AWESOMENESS XD !) I've actually done a little fanart...see my DA...and planning fanfic with many Mid Summer Night's Dream nods

I have the series.  It is a great and at times very funny series.  I"m not sure which character is among my favorites, each one is unique.

Not sure if it is available there, but a few years back I got the very thick black and white paperback that has all the issues in 1 volume.  I think there are other versions around, including one, I think, in color.

It is a great series.   :yes

Yep; they've only got a few left to color.

Nicolodeon wanted to do a movie of it, but they wanted child actors and pop music in it. Praise to the Heavens that Jeff Smith said "No way"!

He is one of the few who won't just accept money and let folks do what they want.

One good reason why he's awesome  :p ! He said "Who would watch a movie like Lord of the Rings with kid actors and pop music?" He deserves a good pat on the back. Lol, Nicolodeon took it as a kid's show. Excuse me, Rouge Ja is CLEARLY not fixed  :angel !...not to mention the death threats, arm lopping...tongue of same character getting torn out by non-fixed giant mountian lion. He said it WASN'T meant to be a kid's series.

Lol, I told my Algebra teacher (yes, Algebra  :lol ) about the Quiche bits. He said Quiche was something like a casserole with egg, cheese, sausage, onion, pepper...I've been drooling the rest of the day   !

Yes, if you read the comic, or book, and actually pay attention you can see it is not a story aimed at kids, as some who have not really read it seem to think.

Like Fone Bone's reaction to taking a bath with Thorn in the hot springs  :lol !  I did like him eating soap, though  :wow . Graaaahhh, I REALLY want to get the whole series and add it to my collection. The only comics I personally collect are the "Yotsuba" mangas. Funny as they are, they arn't quite as pleasing as Bone is. I guess I should just get the entire collection rolled into one  :neutral

Like I mentioned I have the book with them all in 1 volume, though some folks HATE black and white I do not mind it at all.    I heard a publisher had published them in color in several volumes, no idea when those came out, or if they are out of print or not.   Good luck on finding whatever version you like best.

I'm just gonna get the one-volume thing. Less space taken up on my bookshelf, even though it's huge :p HOWEEEEEVEEEER...my mom does not want to get it, even though I found a decent price on Amazon. For the used +new, it's $13.00, plus $3.99 shipping, which is good. But my mom does not want to get it. Why, I don't know. There's nothing against our morals, and I suggested that my bros and I (since they're reading it too) all pay her back for it. Ticks me off. I guess I might as well work as hard as I can on Saturday's garage sale until I can get it at Barnes and Nobel  <_<

Good luck.  I had a lot of fun reading the series.  I like the way it's not always serious, but there is comedy in there as well.  I have always thought if that is done well it leads to, in my opinion, a better story.

Quiche, comrade  :D !

Errr....ummmm...

Why does Kingdok look so different from the other rat creatures? In a fanfic I'm doing, he's a slightly different race, but what would you say?

I don't remember if it is mentioned why but being a different variety could be a reason why.  Also he could have been altered by the one that he serves.
