Kiara and the others let down a rope into the cavern, while Rabbit set a clock for 30 minutes.

"You need to be back within 30 minutes sharp, or we're pulling the rope up," he explained.

"Is there anything we need to watch out for down here?" Oliver asked as they began descending.

"One of them said the spatula is shiny, so we should notice it as soon as we get close," Oliver said, "Let's stick together."

Indeed, as they traversed the caves, they could hear the sounds of the wildcats in the distance.

Mona had a flashlight and held it out in front of her so the others could see ' the cave itself was huge, and filled with bones. it also smelled of cat. ' keep your eyes open" flash said.

As they went through the cave, they could hear voices calling. "Hungry! Hungry!"

"I guess the feral wildcats can talk, though," Oliver whispered. From the size of the bones, the trio realized like the main Chef Wildcat, these feral ones must have a particular taste for cub animals.

The trio silently gulped and kept quiet until they saw the sparkle of the spatula. It had taken them several minutes to find it.

"Let's get back, and hurry," Oliver whispered.

"I smell food!" one of the feral wildcats was heard calling.

Run! Flash said as Oliver grabbed the spatula, and Mona turned to run back towards the rope, which was hanging down from the hole.

Up in the cafe, the lions handling the rope were told to be strict about the time limit. If the kids weren't climbing up the rope when the 30 minutes ran out, they had to pull it back up.

"There's less than a minute left...." Kiara complimented.

"They're gaining on us!" Oliver gasped as he saw the feral wildcats chasing after the three of them, the felines making hungry sounds.

The kids hurried as fast as they could, the rope was still a distance away. When they heard a buzzer indicating the clock was at zero, Oliver leaped for the rope and grabbed onto it, holding onto the spatula as he was pulled up.

Mona and Flash.....weren't so lucky.

"There's other exits," Kiara called, "try to find one," she encouraged.

"Go around until you find sun light pouring in, that's an exit," Kiara called to the wolf girls.

"Here's your spatula," Oliver panted, handing it back to Vitani.

"You have to take more care with that, Kovu and I could mentor you two," Kiara offered Kopa and Vitani.

"Coming right up," Kiara smiled, she and Kovu demonstrating their cooking talents. Even recipes like pancakes included live meat at the Wildcat Cafe, but the customers were well aware of it.

"Add just the perfect amount of butter and syrup, dear," she purred to Kovu.

Mona and flash hurried along a rocky path in the cave, looking for an second exit. As they rushed along , the sounds of the feral wildcats grew louder and louder, they were catching up to them. "

"You have to be more careful Vitani," Kiara said, "We all know, our parents as well, the risks of taking this job. Kovu and I are high ranking enough that we're no longer in danger of it, but you two are still starting at the bottom ranks."

She then turned to Kovu. "You remember what our parents asked us to do when they called and said our siblings would be joining us?"
