Nellis AFB, Nevada
Colonel Jules Ire ran his hand over the smooth skin of the sleek, stealthy aircraft sitting in front of him. The YF-29 Pegasus was the only fighter of it's kind in the world. The Colonel had had a hand in designing it, and seeing the finished aircraft in front of him was awe-inspiring. Though it would remain classified for a while, he hoped it wouldn't be long before the plane went into production.
"Sleep well, beautiful," he said to the plane, blowing it a kiss as he exited the hangar.
He closed the door, failing to notice as a blue light quickly scanned the aircraft. Stepping out of the shadows, a large robot crouched down behind the plane.
"I'll never understand humans," he chuckled. "They get so attached to things..." he looked at the plane and made a whistling sound. "Although I must say this is a pretty sleek craft. It'll do for a vehicle mode, at any rate."
When Colonel Ire returned to the hangar the following morning, he got the shock of his life. Sitting in front of him were two YF-29s, completely identical.
"That's it," he said, "from here on out, I'm getting more than four hours of sleep at night, because my current schedule's clearly messing with me."

"This is odd." One person said who was looking at the results of a device they had been using to get an idea of what lay under the ground in the area without the need to dig it all up first.
"Looks like some large object is under here. Some sort of When we have no records of any sort of plane in the area." The same person said.
"We may need to dig a part of it up to get a sample for analysis, or confirm it is a anomaly, like last time." Another said.

None of the men noticed as a sleek, grey jet flew overhead, slowly circling, and even if they had, none would have guessed that the jet in question was actually a sentient being.
"...or confirm it as an anomaly like last time."
When the man's words, amplified by the jet's sensitive audio sensors ended, the jet banked and changed course.
"Megatron, this is Starscream. It seems I've discovered an item of some interest to us..."

The group started digging after marking the area off with white thread and focusing on certain area or 2 first. They continued digging at the careful usual pace to be sure not to miss anything.
"Think I found something." One of them said, lifting the small bit of an item onto a cloth and taking using a penlight to get a better look at it after he had marked the position it was found in and taking a picture as well.
"Interesting, but what is it?" One said.
"I don't recognize the material, let's send off for a laboratory chemical analysis then we'll have more information." The other said.

Nellis AFB, Nevada. 1210 hours.
The hangar was dark, and there was nothing to indicate any presence. Still, the two identical aircraft sat next to each other. At once, the instrument panel on one of the craft lit up, and an alarm began to chime. The aircraft in question, of course, was none other than Kulbit- the Autobot who'd sneaked in earlier.
"What the-?" he said, surveying his screens. "Well frag me. That's an Cybertronian distress signal! Faint, but... wow, it's been a long time since I've seen one of those. Time to take some action."
The plane beeped once, and the hangar doors began to open. Kulbit began to fire up his engines and taxi out... just as a mechanic walked into the hangar.
"We have an unapproved taxi!" he said, unclipping his radio and speaking into it. "Repeat. Control tower, we have an unapproved taxi!"

The other person carefully packed the sample into a container and writing on the addresses, postage and other stuff. He made sure it was all proper before he sealed it and put it in the to be mailed tomorrow pile.

Kulbit positioned himself at the far end of the runway. The tower had been trying to hail him for a while now, and there were some rather unfriendly-looking trucks headed his way. Time to go. He fired up his afterburners and roared down the runway, lifting into the air. He couldn't resist a barrel roll just for good measure. It was fun to mess with humans.
"Now to find this distress signal," me mumbled to himself, changing course.

The others continued working on uncovering what they had found, since it would take a while to hear back from the lab they assumed they figured why not continue to work and uncover what they had found. They worked at the usual slow speed most archaeologists use, being careful to catalog anything they found, the position it is found in, and taking a picture if a camera is handy, often one is, even if it is a cellphone.

As Kulbit approached the target area, his radar suddenly lit up. There was another signature closing on the area, and unlike this one, it had a signal, and said signal was NOT a friendly one.
"I'll be fragged," he swore, "the Cons are looking for the same thing I am."
He opened his internal weapons bays, arming four energon-tipped missiles. Things were about to get much more exciting.

The con thought at first that this was going to be a boring mission Starscream had sent him on. Then his radar picked up the other. He new this trip was going to be interesting after all. He readied his weapons to be prepared to engage the other. He had to decide if he wanted to end it quickly or drag it out a while.

As Kulbit was about to launch his attack, several small life signals registered.
"Scrap!" he said, "humans! Why do they always have to get in the way?!" Acting quickly, he transformed, landing on his feet in front of several startled humans, shielding them from the oncoming Con.

"What?" One of the humans said. Not expecting anything like this to happen. THis sort of thing, a giant robot, or whatever it was, suddenly popping up only happened in books, movies and cartoons.

"Giving up already, you're no fun." The con said starting to dive.

"No fun?" Kulbit said, putting on a mock disheartened tone, "come on! Let me lighten things up a bit!"
Kulbit's arm transformed into his aircraft mode's automatic Vulcan air-to-air cannon as he raked the diving Con with machine gun fire. The humans behind him could only watch as the battle began.

"And my wife says my job is boring. What'll she gets a load of these pictures." One said using his cellphone to take some pictures.
"Giant Monsters ?!? This is why I left japan." Another said.
"We have to get out of here, not take pictures you fool." Another said grabbing the first and beginning to run off.

"Yea, I likeem when they fight." The con said, returning fire as he was hit, before he began to turn around for a return flight and good angle to shoot.

"So it's a dogfight, then!" Kulbit growled, jumping into the air and changing into jet mode. "Come at me, Con!" he said, a tad melodramatically. He twisted until he was following the Decepticon.
"Come on," he hissed, "give me a target lock..."

"At least I"ll have a little fun before I destroy you. No need to shorten the fun to soon." The con said as he turned to try to get a good angle and lock on Kulbit, ignoring the humans or and structural damage or secondary effects.

As the Decepticon took aim, the an engine roared, and a small, unmanned Spyder hit one of the hills dotting the landscape, jumping off it and transforming in midair, drawing a sword and landing on the 'Cons back.
"Like a fight, huh? Well then you're gonna love me!"
He chuckled...

"A sneaky trick." The con said. He started to do a barrel roll to try to knock off the autobot who had landed on him. Then bot landing on him threw his initial aim off a fraction before he shot a missile.
The humans ran off, with 1 wanting to try to take pictures with his cell phone, but being half dragged pulled by the other 2.

"We're done here!" Kulbit growled as he armed one of his energon missiles. The humans were a safe distance away now. "Gotta line this one up just right," he said, noting the Bot on the Con's back. "Can't risk friendly fire." His targeting systems locked onto the Con's right wing.
"Bingo," Kulbit said, arming the weapon and firing it just as a bluish-green portal appeared below.

The other Autobot smirked, turning around and slashing the 'Con beneath him deeply before leaping off, transforming back into his vehicle form as he fell...

As the missile impacted the Con, Kulbit took notice of the portal below. Stepping out of it were two transformers- one small and blue, and the other large and red. Expecting a trap, he streaked downwards, heading for both of them. As he was about to fire, he saw the symbols they bore. They were Autobots.

The slashing did quite a bit of damage, and cut some wires making him loose control Then the missile hit and did even more damage, making the con loose control totally and crash into the ground below. The hard impact doing the con in totally due to the damage before he hit and the force of the impact adding his speed when he impacted.

Optimus Prime emerged from the ground bridge just in time to see Kulbit barreling towards him with weapons armed. Acting quickly, Prime jumped out of the way, pushing Arcee, who had emerged with him, to the side in an attempt to avoid a missile strike that never came.
"Cease fire!" Prime called, "we're Autobots!"

Out of the portal came a yellow custom muscle car. Once through the land bride it quickly transformed to his robot form, ready for combat as he looked around to see where the enemies, if any, were.

Speedbreaker rolled over, switching rapidly back into his robot form, nodding.
"Ah, nice to see some fellow Autobots."
He chuckled...

Kulbit reverted to robot mode and slammed into the ground, standing up in front of Prime and brushing a few stray pieces of debris from his metal. After all, he was standing in front of perhaps the most famous Autobot of all time.
"Optimus Prime..." he said, saluting sharply, "it's been a long time, sir."
Prime narrowed his eyes thoughtfully. "Indeed it has, Kulbit." He turned to the smaller transformer nearby. "Speedbreaker, I'm pleased to meet you in person as well. We had believed ourselves to be the only Autobots on this planet. We were apparently incorrect."

Bumblebee looked around for any threats then not seeing any retracted his weapons. He was a bit unhappy that he had missed any fun that had happened here, though he didn't show it.
<When did you both arrive? Have you been here long?> He asked, speaking in his usual way that only transformers & Raf could understand.
(ooc: I got the idea that for Bumblebee I'd use < > instead of " since humans, except for Raf, seem unable understand him since he can't speak english, but some other language. )

Speedbreaker rolled his neck.
"Unknown. It's been a fair while. At least a few years now."
He chuckled, mouth plate sliding back to reveal his face...

<A few years? I guess you did not have a hard time keeping a low profile.> Bumblebee said. <Nice to meet you. More then enough cons for us to have fun smashing.> He said then he looked around, <Was that the only one? Are others on the way here?> He asked. <Why did they have an interest in this area? Is there a deposit of energon here?>

"Actually," Kulbit said, "I suspect they were here for the same reason I was. You see, I picked up a Cybertronian distress signal this morning and followed it here."
"And I assume that by Cybertronian you mean Decepticon?" Prime said.
"No," Kulbit replied, shaking his head. "I mean original, unaffiliated Cybertronian. Something's here that was on our planet before the war."

<Is that even possible?> Bumblebee asked looking at some of the various transformers present. <Do you know how long ago that was? Can a transformer even live that long?> He asked full of questions about this.
<Maybe we should go and have a look, at least to see what it looks like.> He said, wanting to go and have a look instead of standing around.

"I'd love to," Kulbit said. "Problem is- I'm not entirely sure where this bot is. There were a few humans digging around here. My guess is our mystery bot might be underground."

Speedbreaker nodded.
"Yeah, something tells me that he or she might be."
He added, grabbing one of his swords...

<Let's get to digging. Though where should we dig. Does anyone have any idea?> Bumblebee asked, not wanting to just stand around and do nothing. He looked from one to the other of the autobots present.
<There has to be something we can do. Maybe look around to see where the humans were digging before they left.> He said.

"Allow me," Kulbit said, grinning. "The humans might be a bit... behind as far as technology goes, but it looks like they've at least started putting radar on planes. I'll fire mine up and see if I can get a hit. Normally the waves wouldn't penetrate underground, but... I've made a few modifications."
Kulbit lifted his arm up to eye level and a small diagnostic screen popped up from his wrist. A few beeps later, he lowered his arm.
"About twenty feet belowground right.... there," he said, pointing to a slight indentation in the ground.

<Let's get started digging. Though 1 or 2 should stand guard perhaps.> Bumblebee said. <How big is it? Can we carry it back or will it even fit into the landbridge? From before the war began and unaffiliated? Can anything be that old?> He asked and wondered out loud.

Prime shifted one of his hands into a blade. "Allow me," he said, slicing through the ground and revealing sections of a large metal object beneath.

Speedbreaker chuckled.
"Well, that's one way to do it. Now then, I'll see if I can finish the job."
He said, grabbing all six of his swords, leaping up and slashing downward, cutting the ground around the metal object easily...

Uncovering the outer parts of a metal object shaped much like a star or space ship type of vehicle. Of a non modern design, possibly very arcahic or possibly older in design.

"By the Allspark," Prime whispered in awe, "I haven't seen craftsmanship like this since before the war."
"You think that's where this thing is from, then?" Kulbit asked, "before the war?"
"I think it's a possibility we can't overlook," Prime confirmed.

<That would make it very old, older then some transformers who are alive.> Bumblebee said, a bit wondering how old the object could really be and how anything transformer that old or older could have been undiscovered for this long.

Prime reached down into the pit and grabbed hold of the object within, lifting it free and setting it down on the ground. Kulbit blinked. "What in Primus's name is that?"

<It looks like some sort of starship. But one that is to small for a transformer to fit into.> Bumblebee said as he looked over the object from where he was, <but one that has been damaged.>

In the clouds above, a lone grey jet was suddenly joined by another silver, Cybertronian aircraft.
"Lord Megatron," Starscream hissed, "the Autobots have completed their excavation. Shall we attack?"
"No," the silver jet answered, "we wait. I want to see where this is going. At the first sign of movement from that... thing, we will attack."

<Should we try to look it over here or risk taking it back to base?> Bumblebee asked.

"I propose we take it back to base," Prime answered. "Ratchet can give it a thorough examination, and we'll hopefully be able to discover this craft's origins."
Kulbit held up a hand. "Hold on- I'm picking up some closing aircraft on radar."

<Craft where? What sort?> Bumblebee asked as he shifted his hands to weapons and looked around to see if he could spot them himself in case they were enemies.

"Megatron..." Prime breathed. "Autobots, I'm afraid our time for introductions has passed." Prime brought his arm up and spoke into his wrist communicator "Ratchet, I need a ground bridge on my coordinates now!"

<if not sooner. > Bumblebee said keeping his weapons handy to start shooting if the enemies got to close.

Megatron and Starscream streaked downwards, raking the Autobots below with blasts. A few feet away, a green portal opened up. Optimus and Kulbit grabbed the craft.
"To the ground bridge!" Optimus ordered

Bumblebee starts firing at Megatron & Starscream to try to give the others some cover to get themselves and their find to the land bridge and get back to base.

Speedbreaker's engine roared as he raced alongside the others, then quickly pulled a 180, jumping into the air and slashing at Starscream as he flipped over him...

"Foolish Autobot!" Starscream cackled, transforming in midair and firing two heatseekers straight at Speedbreaker.

Speedbreaker transformed in mid-jump as well, slicing through the first missile, then threw his sword at Starscream, embedding it into his chest as the second missile impacted him, almost blowing him in half and sending him skittering across the road next to Bumblebee...

<Are you ok?" Bumblebee asked Speedbreaker as he glanced at him, still using his weapons to fire at the opponents as he neared the ground bridge, being sure someone had the thing they had found and were going to get it to the land bridge, if not then he would try to do that.

Speedbreaker attempted to push himself up, then fell back, sparking from his wound...

<Do you need help getting up, or are you to damaged to get up?> Bumblebee asked Speedbreaker, doing is best to give him cover fire.
