In Star Trek Voyager that I came across I found out that on one espiode that a race called the Voth come from a dinosaur race the hadrosaur one that surprisingly look like Ducky's kind from LBT which shooked me.

I've watched it a few times and the technology that I've seen on that one program is amazing that these creatures from Earth evolved to be 500 times more advanced then even the Borg. they was able to using a beam to teleport Voyager inside their Cityship.

Hadrosaur actually describes a whole family of dinosaur species including Ducky's I reckon. Parasaurolophus, Saurolophus, Edmontosaurus, Anatosaurus, Hadrosaurus (yes there was also a kind named like the whole family),... the hadrosauroids include all the "duck-billed" dinosaurs.

Cool.  I kinda based a speices in a Star Wars strry I wrote on dinosaurs.  I talked about them on another part of this forum.  The Raptorians look similar to raptors.

Yes, I am Land Before Time, Dr Who and Star Trek fan all in one. lol

The Voth on Voyager got me interested that these dinosaurs evolved into humaiod suarians that was amazing to see on that one program.

I myself am a LOTr fanatic as well as a magical fanatic. I like any stories with magic in them. Stripetail is based on a combination of merlin (the lengendary sorcerer from King Arthur's court) and Gandalf (from lOTR).
