Title: A particularly touching moment in 12
Post by: Bruton the Iguanodon on December 08, 2012, 04:36:30 AM
I'd like to point out a very interesting moment from the 12th film. It's when the flyer judges show up at dawn for the flying test. And if you listen to the music...oh my gosh, it's it! It's that beautiful theme...and then, just before it really becomes recognizable, it quietly fades out.  The moment, with the sunrise (which means hope) and that music...felt like an echo of beautiful times long gone, of LBT when I knew it as a kid. Whether universal intended it or not, it was a really great remembrance of the past, before quickly returning us to the future.

Maybe I'm overanalyzing this, but I just thought I'd share it with you guys seeing as it was something I found quite poignant.
