I just re-watched the original LBT for the first time in almost 14 years and now I am obsessed with it, just as much as I was when I first saw it. In searching google for forums to discuss the movie I found this site and was sold the minute I opened it. It's great to find a site devoted to LBT and to find that I'm not the only one who absolutely loves this movie!

I enjoyed the sequels, however, I only got to number five before I stopped watching the series entirely. When I get the chance I am going to watch all of the sequels now since LBT is a series that I should have never grown out of.

They also made a TV series, though it was just 26 episodes. I really liked it because they brought back Chomper to live in the Great Valley. (Even though that makes little sense, and they never explained how the grownups even allowed this.)

Yes I am, although Ducky and Littlefoot are tied for my favorite character. I was surprised to find that it had been 14 years since I last watched LBT and it made me feel old for the first time in my life.

Wow, fourteen years… And I thought six or seven years was a long time to have gone without watching LBT.

Your signature indicates that you are (or at least were at some point) interested in being a paleontologist. Is that right?

More than just interested! I plan on turning it into my career. Working toward a Bachelors degree in geology currently and then I'll be off to graduate school to get my PHD in paleontology when that is finished.

I'm fascinated by paleontology, but I've never pursued it as a career (I wouldn't make a very good paleontologist, I'm afraid). I hope I get the opportunity to talk with you sometime.

I've always been a little afraid of being a paleontologist, but I've realized that I couldn't deal with doing anything other than that for the rest of my life. That and I'm not great at much anything else

I'm sure we'll get a chance to talk, I'm always trying to keep up with all the latest paleontology news
