The family of young swimmers playing in the shallows didn't stand a chance against the odd little pack of sharpteeth that fell upon it. Watching the hunting children from the corner of his eye, Winder was nevertheless focused enough to snatch up a fleeing young swimmer as it tried to scramble past them. His thick, powerful jaws clamped shut with an audible snap, and the swimmer was still.

It was a scrawny young swimmer, and Winder swallowed the body whole with one toss back of his head. He could eat more, but for now he was satisfied. He'd gone longer on much less meat in the past--some days he didn't catch anything at all--and he wanted to make sure the young ones ate their fill first. This compassion was a new feeling to Winder, but he chalked it up to the fact that he had never had hatchlings of his own. Plus, no one went hungry for very long in the Valley.

Shuffling his feet to turn and regard the group of sharpteeth, his thin tongue snaked around his teeth, lapping up any stray taste that has escaped. "Everyone had their fill?" he asked.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it is indeed a LBT rpg. lol. All swimmers would be welcome.I think we'd more often be out in the open ocean, but I don't want to be too limiting so we could go near land sometimes as well. But the emphasis is on being in the deep sea, living in an underwater world.

Marine life is my specialty, but I know most people don't seem that interested (or rather, they're much more interested in land-based areas, I find very few people share my obsession with ocean animals lol).

So before starting an aquatic rp, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining in? Mo would be there of course. XD I think most other characters would be OC's. Yes, there would be a definite plot going on.

I'm sort of in disagreement here. I think a community is the perfect place to rant when you're frustrated and looking for support. For example, on the pony island game I play, I entered into a game and the people hosting the game cheated and gave the prize to another person. Now I have no proof that this happened, but I'm pretty sure that was what went on behind the scenes. I couldn't really rant and raise a fuss on that board, because I would look like the childish one and it wouldn't get me anything.

So instead I went to another messageboard that I frequent and posted a rant that I lost in the game and that I thought it was rigged. Yes, it was a childish rant and no one at the other message board really had anything to do with my experience, but I was looking for sympathy so I could feel better.

I completely agree with NewOrder:
"Deleting posts or topics with racist remarks, slander, insults, whatever is ok and the right thing to do, but otherwise it's a sort of censurship, and we're no longer in a fascist world."

It's one thing to take out posts that are full of swears or whatever, but if you're deleting posts just because someone is ranting and trying to vent, you're being a little too controlling, in my opinion.

But that's just me. I haven't even been to the After Midnight section, so I don't know what posts were being deleted or what was being said. But I feel very strongly that people should have a place to go when they need to rant and vent. Playing music by yourself is fine, but sometimes we as humans need social interaction, to know we're not just overreacting by ourselves. Maybe we should make a section just for rants, if you think the After Midnight section is inappropriate for some of the things being posted?

When I went to the other message board and posted, I was looking for a sympathetic ear, someone who would say "You're right, that wasn't fair of them!" Someone to take my side. I can't get that by listing to music or thinking of childhood things. Sure I could cool my anger in some other way, but I can't get a sense of comradary or acknowledgement of my hurt unless I talk with other people about it.

But like I said, I haven't been reading the posts, so I'm just going by what you have posted in this thread. That's my two cents on the matter of censorship and ranting in forums.

THis is a neat idea! ^_^ I'm convinced that the designers of My Little Ponies 'spy' on the collectors' boards I frequent. There's been many, many times when ideas we talk about actually show up a year later in the stores! Many people say it's just coincidence, but I'm a firm believer that they are 'spying' on us and using our ideas! Of course they can't say anything because then copyright laws get involved. We've never had anyone on the board actually admit to working for Hasbro, but I bet they at least keep tabs on what is being said.

Was this episode ever available for us, or are you guys still working on compressing it? I wish I could help! I don't know anything about putting video files onto computers. I barely understand what compressing is... lol.

Petrie- lol. What 'no parents' means is that you can breed these adoptables by taking a male and a female and asking the artist to draw what the babies would look like. But since this one was a custom adult, it doesn't come from already existing parents. ^_^

action9000- I wrote a fanfic about my other Lunakune, whose name is Ront. Here's the story, actually! Well, it's more of an intro to a much longer story about Ront's history. It's only about a page long, but I'm quite proud of it!
