Name of fanfiction: Our Past and Our Future
Short summary: Adolescence is an awkward time of self discovery as well as physical growth. Chomper seems to experience this the most because of his Sharptooth heritage. But when he and his friends meet an unlikely friend during one of their adventures, things might be turning out for the better. Series of Slice of Life Oneshots related to "Past and Future".

Any other comment: Some of the chapters have been edited since their original post date. Please check out the Fanfiction.net link to read the updated versions as I haven't gotten around to updating them on here yet.

Name of fanfiction: A New Era Hatches
Short summary: Imprinting is a funny thing sometimes.  But, for three orphaned hidden runners, species means little.  Thankfully for them, Mother Mender is there in their first moments.

Author(s): Rhombus
Any other comment: Is part of the Mender’s Tale story, but reading that story is not necessary to understand the premised of this story.

Name of fanfiction: The Other Side of the Rainbow
Short summary: A response to the 2020 Summer Prompt Exchange and set in the Seven Hunters continuity. Curiosity can lead to great discoveries and wondrous adventures, but this is probably an adventure that the rainbowfaces wished they could have avoided. :p
Link to fanfiction on the GoF: https://www.gangoffive.net/index.php?topic=17041.msg522133#msg522133
Author(s): Rhombus
Any other comment: A late entry for the August 2020 prompt, which was not submitted until November 2020 (and thus meets the entry requirements for the awards)

Fanfiction: Our Past and Our Future
Rating: 8.5/10
Review: This has been a story that I have been following for quite some time. I love how you have captured Arya’s personality in this story and her relationship with Chomper and the rest of the gang.  Her circumstances are in many ways a window into the struggles that Chomper will face eventually, as hinted in the title ‘our past and our future’. The latest chapter in particular has upped the ante in terms of tension, with not only a valley refugee crisis developing which will put pressures on the valley food supply, but also the fact that Arya has attracted the notice of Redclaw. How she deals with his ultimatum in the chapters ahead will be something to behold, and will have deep implications for her and the gang as a whole.  I look forward to seeing how things progress in this story going forward. :)

Fanfiction: Treestar Memories
Rating: 8.5/10
Review: Re-reading this fun little poem, I quite enjoy what you did with a prompt which was (mostly) made in jest. Using the perspective of a leaf, you quite masterfully captured the role of the treestar in the life and death struggle of the dinosaur world. This entry is proof that a lot can be done with an economy of words.

@Mouse-a-saur @LBTlover247

I will be extending the time available to cast votes by a week, in the event that you two need extra time to cast your votes and reviews. Please keep in mind that you only qualify for a fanfic awards banner if you vote in the fanfic awards.  :yes

Fanfiction: The Other Side of the Rainbow
Rating: 8/10
Review: I love how this story is so 'slice of life' that you didn't even have to have read the entirety of the Seven Hunters continuity to appreciate what's going on. I only have a basic idea of the general story and it's characters, but it's enough to throughly enjoy this story.  My favourite part was when Taunt wondered how the Rainbowfaces survived as long as they did because their supposed lack of survival instincts while he messed with a 'strange rock' (actually one of  the Rainbowfaces' devices). Only to immediately regret it later. Talk about a hypocrite! :lol

I may not be entering a fic of my own this year (curse my difficulties getting back into a groove writing LBT), but it’s only fair of me to shoot @rhombus a formal review for the story he invented in response to my prompt a while back! :)

Fanfiction: The Other Side of the Rainbow
Rating: 9/10
Review: This was a very fun little story, and as @LBTlover247 already mentioned, it was nice that familiarity with TSH was not required to understand it. (Especially since I have yet to read any of TSH!) The rainbow face duo’s banter with each other captured their personalities very well—the “global domination” comeback especially made me grin, along with the context during which the signature “that would be telling” quote came up (slobber!!). I also enjoyed getting to know a bit more about that wily character who comes around the forum every April Fool’s ;) along with some of his pack. Scarflank’s perception of Taunt’s predicament (“these three were clearly insane”) made me literally snort out loud…and it’s not very easy to make me snort out loud, so your humor is certainly on point! Overall, this was a very creative and humorous little tale. The only flaw I caught? You used the word “peaking” instead of “peeking” accidentally. Not an unusual mistake, though.
