I already posted the general info for my RP in the RP section, but I agree when Kor says I should elaborate it more.
THE SETTING:
In the MB, there would be some sort of gathering area (slightly) like the GV where different kinds of sharpttetth herds would gather, and the herds get along and don't fight/eat each other. Sure, their would still be hunting plant eaters, but only when they're hungry and not for just the sake of hurting them.
THE CHARACTERS:
My idea for the characters was, besides the LBT canon ones, younger versions of anyone's sharptooth OCs (or maybe Ocs you make up just now.) And there would be the multiple kinds of sharpeeth to make up Chomper's "Gang of five." (Like a fastbiter, a swimming sharptooth, a flying sharptoot, a belly dragger) Or just other normal rexes.

Certainly sounds interesting enough. I wouldn't mind taking part in such an rp. Of course, I will have to make a character, but I wouldn't mind.
If you want any help with your RP, feel free to ask anybody around. I will be more than happy to help if you need it, and I know there are others like Kor, GVG, Starfall, etc... that would be willing to help also!
I know how exciting making your first rp is, so let's work together to help make it a great one! :D

An interesting and very original idea.
One idea could be similar to where oc herd that 2 of my oc deinonychus fast biters belong to, a large lake area just outside the great valley with lots of fish in it. Though you may want some changes that fit into your rp idea better, farther away from the Great Valley, not a large lake, larger then a lake, ect.
Also do you want to try for some sharptooth equivalents to the gang? At least a 4 footer or 2, a small 2 footer, a flying sharptooth, though I guess having one that doesn't talk may not be one thing you'd be shooting for.
Also have you decided on if it'll be pure lbt, so no powers, no fastbiters able to run at speed of sound, Chomper able to breath fire, summon lighting, shapeshift or the like? Or if some powers will be allowed?

Yeah Kor, I was thinking of the whole "sharptooth equivalent of the gang." (Fast biter-Cera, swimming sharptooth-Ducky, belly dragger-Spike, and flying sharptooth-Petire, though not necassarily the same personalities. Even though it sounds neat, I kind don't want the whole superpowers concept, OK?

Yeah I would advise against superpowers. They can get too mixed up and then everybody will complain about who gets what power and so on and so forth.
I do like the idea of not using the same personalities as the original gang, because then that helps with Chomper as the leader. A sharptooth is different from Cera, no matter how hard someone will try. Otherwise, why not just rp as Cera? Because then that will defeat the whole purpose of the RP.
In short, different personalities is a good idea.

I find this is a very interesting concept, a LBT adventure but with the perspective of Sharpteeth. Well, it looks like not about hunting or anything like that but a way to try to figure out how Sharpteeth kids can have their own adventures too, something never really seen.
I look forward to know more, and maybe I could join too with my OCs.

Pretty interesting characters C. Though maybe Cayso would have a much bigger role. Personally, I RP better as already existing characters, I have trouble coming up with OCs.

That's curious, because I always get nervous if I try to get to see how a FC can behave, because we all know how it behaves and I don't want to make it wrong :o .
Maybe that's why I wanted to bring the characters I made for my fanfic to play the rpgs, but I may still want to play as an FC if I have the chance.
Give yourself some time and you may be able to get an idea for your own OC, ideas may come slowly, but I don't think somebody can pop-up complete ideas from one second to the other, you may create a character that suits a special need (a plot or a setting) and then you begin working in more aspects, like background info and more things.

Having some equivalents to some of the gang can be interesting, and may help some to get ideas for oc's.

My goal is to start the RP before the end of October, so can anyone tell me (Or give a link) to your character ideas? Like I mentioned, they might have to be younger or, only in some cases, have the drama in their backstories toned down, unless you dislike that.

So far, we will have: Veli (My OC) Cayso and Kei (Fastbiters, OCs) and Cayso's younger brother. I'm hoping for more different types, not just fastbiters

Well, the sharptooth's personality may be the personality of all others, well, that sharptooth has appeared in the tv serie as well, specially in the chapter when Guido appears, that sharptooth looks like the big bad dino from Jurassic park 3 I think, but I am not sure :(
edit: I found it thanks to Kor, the name is Spinosaurus.

I'm definitely interested in this, but unfortunately I don't have any ideas for sharpteeth kids other then those that resemble T-rex. Perhaps I'll create a family of Allosaurus characters though.

I could try a flying sharptooth. I'd have to look up species. The only swimming sharpteeth I know of are all aquatic only types.

And as more good news, my OC is a flying sharptooth (Well half-sharptooth anyway) But I think this RP will be fun nonetheless. So just let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Thanks, GVG, your character (Albeit) a younger version can be in the RP. And Kor, both you and me would be playing flyers. I'll be Chomper (Unless someone else wants to be him.) Now we, for the swimming ones, could just have a massive body of water that is always next to land so ther gang can communicate. Other than that, we just need a belly dragger and some parents for each young one

Chiletrek- Cayso and Racnar (FastbiterOCs.), and a spinosaurus character.
Kor-Rhyn (flyer) character (What the species name is.)
GVG-Half-flying sharptooth OC.
Drake- Allosaurus family
Starfallraptor-Kai.
Now I just need a swimming one, a belly dragger, some parents for the characters (As well as someone playing Chomper's fols, and more info on some of the unnamed characters.

I'm not sure about species names of pterosaurs except for Rhyn, and the 2 mean flyers from the 7th movie, not that I can remember their species names. I'd have to look up about pterosaurs and find a good species that it may be. If it is a member of the same herd as my oc's Blue-eyes and Deon it would be one of the sharptooth flyers that prefer to eat fish, or small lizards and such.

I am most happy to participate in this rpg and happy too because I'll get to play as Racnar too (since the start of a story). But the Spinosaurus character was an idea I had for anyone who would like to make an oc of that species since it is getting very well known from the latest LBT sequels and some chapters of the tv serie.
If you want, I may try to make a new oc of that species (I was contemplating the possibility to make one :D ). But if a new player appears and wants to make one, it is most welcome.

More ideas I have:
There would be young sharpteeth games similar to some Great Valley ones, like the pincone they played with in Mysterious Tooth Crisis.
A unique idea I had: We could have a sharptooth equivalent of Doc. Since we saw in The Brave Longneck Scheme that the older dinos would try to kill even the little sharpteeth, we could have a big sharpteeth who protects the little ones from any big herbivore attacks.

I just asked because the story starts in the MB, so I was going to have it be a semi-tie-in to my fanfic. But I don't have too...just curious.

The RP would be set in a semi-AU, before your fanfic GVG (As the characters would be about 6-10 in human years.)
Another idea: Redclaw wouldn't be evil in this RP. He'd be sorta like Topsy, he likes the MB and his fellow sharpteeth, he can just have a tendency to be a jerk sometimes and have prejudices against herbivores.

I may do a Quetzalcoatlus. My deinonychus oc's do have some sharptooth flyers in their herd so it could be they have some of these. the only thing is the members of the herd know 3 languages, sharptooth, flatooth, and a whistle language that only they know that was made initially by Blue-eye's great grandfather, with some input with Zal, so they could have a way to talk to each other over long distances, and there are real whistle languages on the earth today, but they're dying languages.

Alright. That gives me something to think about :-) A belly dragger would be good to play though. But I think I¥ll wait for joining til I come back from my holidays. We are leaving saturday morning and first come back in one week.

First of all I'm sorry I wasn't been able to post in the rpg (and in fact, any rpg) for quite some days, but I've been too busy with university and with tests. Even tomorrow I have more things to do.
This rpg has been very active, so I have too much to catch up before I can post again, and that may take me some more bit, but I'll do what I can to post, more probable tomorrow.
