Sorry about not answering, LBTlover.  I really didn't see it. :D

Anyways,

Quote
Okay, now to a real question here. WTF was up with Chikorita (probably misspelled that, but...)? Am I the only one that thought they way he/she acted towards Ash was a bit....oh I dunno....creepy and inappropriate? Then he/she (I'm working on grammar here, can you tell?) evolved into...uhhh...leaf-something and it got even more creepy....at least for a while. Then it was like...gone. Then Ash like dumped all his PK and it was like WTFH?

There is a simple answer to this, but you may not like it.  Brock basically said it best when he observed the behavior himself.

Quote
"I think Chikorita has a crush on Ash."

Yep, that's the whole explanation to it.  She simply had an over-affectionate crush on Ash.  Even up to the point when she evolved into Bayleef, she still had a crush.  In episode though, Ash just exploded and told her NOT to tackle him anymore.  For this episode, Bayleef thought that Ash didn't love her like she did him, so she ran away.  This is true.  Ash doesn't love his Pokemon in that way, but he does care about them.  Even Bayleef.  So basically, Ash went after her and showed that he still cared.

This experience for Bayleef helped her mature and now she just doesn't do it because it's what her master wishes of her.  Despite the truth she has learned, she still does love Ash that deeply.  She just knows they can't be together like that.

Despite all this revelation that has come forth with the show, some fans still have unusual fantasies of Ash and Bayleef being in that kind of relationship and becoming mates. (You'll most likely find this in Fanfiction.net with the M-rating filter on.  Or on various Pokemon Porn sites.) To be honest, I am against the whole Pokemon&Human Shippings, but I find some people do make good, well-crafted stories out of them.  So, it's not all bad.

Still, I don't like it. -_-

Quote
What is your opinion of Lucario? Very general question I guess, and I expect a well thought-out answer. And I'm not just talking about the Lucario in the movie. I'm talking about character dynamics and potential for the overall character in later movies as well as fanfictions and perhaps even a more....complicated relationship between human and Pokemon than we've seen in the movies and TV series so far. I'm probably overly-obsessed with complicated dynamic characters, and Lucario scores a 10/10 in my book.

IMHO, Lucario is overrated.  However, I guess it deserves the fan support it has gotten.  First off, it is a cool looking Pokemon.  Perfectly designed for the role of fighting and giving the animators and designers a chance to work with the "Martial Arts" Genre in Episodes and Movies.  An area they've hardly tackled, but obviously do well at when it shows.

Not to mention in the games that it's just powerful.  With the power it holds and the awesome coverage with it's moves, it can hold it's own against a number of the Legendary Pokemon, but does not qualify as such.  Still, it can put up quite a fight.

The combination of such made the fan-support that came with it highly expected.  There have been many fanfictions already made on Fanfiction.net with this Pokemon.  Even ones where Human&Pokemon mating actually exists. (Even ones that have the result of children sometimes.) There are some with complex story-lines of how the world doesn't approve of such relationships and everyone wants to kill them both. (Yes, literally kill them.) However, those are few and far between.

In my area of fandom, I could just expect Lucario to be yet another member of the team.  Though it's not a favorite of mine, if I need that kind of coverage with my team, I'll put it in.  I'm not a fan and I don't plan to be one. :)

Ummmm....I really don't know what to say about most of your post, but I was thinking of a more complex relationship between human and Pokemon in a different way.  Since Lucario can speak, it can really challenge the belief that many humans share that Pokemon are for nothing but capture and training.  There's one thing that makes PK and animals different and that's that PK can actually understand humans and respond in a human-like way to most situations.  Sounds to me like the basis for an amazing movie, or a fanfiction if nothing else.  I'd prefer a movie though.  There aren't many good writers out there.  Of course, a theme like this might be a bit to "deep" for kids though, so I doubt they'll make a GOOD movie about it even if the roll the movie out.

Which is the best PokÈmon fan fiction you have read?

Do you like dark PokÈmon fics or no?

And this: Have you read  Latias' Journey
Latias' Journey
?

Plot of Latias' Journey: When the Ghost King destroys Latias's home city of Alto Mare and kills all of her friends after she spurns his advances, she is forced to embark on a long journey that takes her across the Pokemon world. There, she meets up with Ash and the other Chosen. Together, the Chosen are forced to embark on many adventures across the land.

Oh and the fic is EXTREMELY violent and has some sexual content.

To be highly honest, it is hard to give one of them that was the best for me.  One thing I will tell you is that some of the best just NEVER appear on Fanfiction.net.  I'm not kidding here.  As many Pokemon Fics as it has, it just does not contain some of the best.  Under most circumstances, you would have to search hard for them, but I'll save you the trouble.

(Note: I ask that you be patient with some of these links.  There's SO many people on this place at one time.  Due to that reason, it takes up a lot of bandwidth.)

Fate and Destiny of Friends

If you are into the concept of Pokeshipping, (Ash & Misty Love Relationship) I highly recommend it.  The story takes place before Ash earns his eighth Houen Badge.  Basically, they meet again at Sootopolis City, and what happens from there, I will not spoil.  Even after being banned, I still go back on as a guest just to check it out.  It is one of the best I have ever read.  If you are into Pokeshipping, please read it.  You will not regret it.

Also on Serebii Forums, if you go to the Completed Fics Section, look up a guy named Brian Powell.  He is just incredible.  He is one of the best Comedy Writer on that forum.  Just read a few of those and you will definitely PYSL in no time.

Finally, if you are into blood, I highly recommend this.

Pokemon, Asylum of the Damned Style

This was the first violent Pokemon Fanfiction I ever read, and I absolutely loved it!  It takes the simple concept of a Pokemon Journey and brings the violence to the ultimate level.  You will be on the edge of your seat with this story.  I sure was.

Those are my recommendations.  Remember, the best isn't on Fanfiction.net, it's on Serebii Forums.  Where good writing is taken seriously.

In many cases, yes.  I will share with you one of my favorites that I still remember to this day.  It is so popular, that it's way of writing is considered the norm for writing a Dark Fic.  It was the first Pokemon Dark Fic, and to me, it was the best.

Pokemon Master

Warning: The fanfiction is so violent, that it was banned from Fanfiction.net.  It is not for the faint of heart.

Nope, haven't read that one.  I'm going to have to check it out. :)

And thank you for FINALLY posting me a new question.  I was wondering if anyone would ever give me another one.  Thank you for revitalizing this topic. :)

Trust me, if you like dark fics, you will love Latias' Journey.

By the way, Pokemon Master is not banned on FF.net.

And trust me on it when I say Latias' Journey is violent.

Also, what is your favorite music from the PokÈmon games?

Ooohh! Tough one!  The battle music has always been good.  Aside from that, there's hardly one I don't enjoy.  To be honest, it's just TOO hard to choose for me. :)

Ah dang!  I kind of forgot about this topic!  Sorry for not answering this earlier!

Anyways, the truth is that I've given up MSN, mainly because I never use it.  I do have an account, but the truth is that I've abandoned it.

To be honest, I haven't been on there in MONTHS!  I'm not even sure why I left in the first place.  In fact, I don't even have it on my computer because of the fact that I don't use it anymore.

Will I ever get back on?  Truth is, I'm not sure if I ever will.  We'll just have to see.

So yeah, I do have an account, but I don't use it anymore.  Sorry! :(

One of the many mysteries of Pokemon that eludes everyone (including me) to this very day.

Here's one that's baffled me for a long time. In the anime, there is an episode involving Porygon (excuse the spelling if I messed it up), that was banned because of the flashing lights as well as the use of guns. Why couldn't the producers of this episode put a warning in the beginning that the episode contained such content? I don't really think banning it was necessary.

I only know all of the info given by Serebii.net, but to me, it actually makes a lot of sense.  You see, the flash during the episode hospitalized multiple children when it aired in Japan, and that's one of the last things you want for an episode to have.  According to the information, the episode put the show on a four-month hiatus and nearly ruined the franchise for good.  In the end, to ensure the same incident would never happen again, they had to ban the episode.  It was just the right thing to do in the end.

I do like Mudkip.  If anyone says that it looks ugly, I have half a mind to slap them.

I understand why they had to ban the episode, but at the same time I don't get why a warning couldn't have been put in the beginning of the episode, alerting people that such use of flashing lights was in the episode.

I guess they just didn't think there would be any problems of it when they completed it.  Which might explain why there's no warning in the first place.

Then again, the rules of censoring are totally different in Japan from what they are in America.  Sometimes, I can't believe what kids are allowed to watch in Japan.

Is it just me or are Pokemon getting uglier?  The evolved form of the three starter Pokemon (torchic, treko, and mudkip) are absolutely hideous.  The worst is torchic's final evolved form.  It looks like a big flaming chicken person. :x

I wouldn't say they are getting uglier, and to be quite honest I think Blaziken looks awesome. I think the producers are just starting to run out of animals to base pokemon off of. When you think about it, look at the first generation of starters. One thing I've noticed is that the Water pokemon have gotten progressively cuter and cuter. Squirtle will always remain to be my favorite, but look at Puplip. I'm sorry, but that does not scream awesome starter.

Well, there's only so many good looking forms you can come up with without making it look like a total rip-off of some other franchise.  So I'm not surprised that they started to look ugly by the third generation.

However, if you think those are bad, take a look at the upcoming ones for the fifth generation in the link below.

I think the artists gave up TRYING long ago. -_-

Ok, I can't take that list seriously at all. There's maybe four or five in there that look cool. Otherwise, this isn't looking too good in terms of uniqueness and variety.
