They are a pretty popular dino yet we haven't, that we know of, seen one in any of the films or the TV series.

If they are in there, should they be flatteeth, Sharpteeth, or Bothteeth (omnivores)?

Pterodactals aren't a singular species of pterosaur, but rather a genus that includes multiple species. Scientifically speaking, the proper name is Pterodactylus.

That is bizarre!  I actually had one then in my fanfic and didn't know it!     I thought that Pteroadactyl and Pterodactylus were different dinos.  :wow  :wow  :wow  :wow  :wow

(Too bad she is evil.  However, my half Pterodactylus is good.)

Actually, pterosaurs weren't dinosaurs.

But yeah, it would be nice if they had more variety of pterosaurs in the movies. I don't think they utilized too many species. There were a ton of different species in that genus, and some are just really bizarre-looking, like this guy:

And this guy:

And here's just a tiny tiny fraction of headshots from a couple species:

Another question though, is, if they were to appear, would they be leaf eaters or Sharp Beaks or unknown like Rinkus and Sierra?

They opened up a can of worms when they made Petrie's species Leaf Eaters.

Well, whatever diet their species has, I reckon. Changing diet of certain species isn't unheard of in the LBT universe though... (*cough* Petrie *cough* he'd be a fisheater actually ^^)
Inactive, probably forever.
