What do you mean? Actual couples in LBT, or the ones we'd like to "happen"?

I'd probably go with Littlefoot and Ali. I know, bit of a cliche pairing, but among the classic character couples, this is the only one I could see going anywhere. They're around the same age, theyre the same species, and it was obvious they liked eachother. I bet that if that film had a bit more characterisation and development, they would emerge as a sort of childhood sweethearts couple.

Heh, we have various topics like this. ^^ I'm pretty sure they're around.

And to say who I like together....well let's say that I pair pretty much everything under the sun...or...bright circle... 'cept most popular and cannon pairings.

Littlefoot and Ali... sorry, but coupling two characters across species is just a thing I'm not a fan of.
That, and Littlefoot and Cera is just two characters I wouldn't be able to picture together. Their characterization is just two much appart to appear in such a situation as having a crush/fall in love.

I'm a LittlefootxAli fan, so I'll go with Littlefoot and Ali.  :smile  They're just so sweet when they're together.

I have to disagree with the Littlefoot and Ali idea. Grandma Longneck stated in the movie that the herd of longneck were cousins to them. So, I'd have to vote against that one. I like Sue and the Ultrasaurus she met in X. I wonder how their relationship is going, if it is still going.

The way you are thinking of may not be 100% true.  The fact is that the relationship between the two differs from language to language.  In fact, they could mean it in a completely different manner.

I know in one language, it is actually translated to "kinfolk", which would mean that they share a common ancestor, but may be far apart enough in terms of family for it to deemed more acceptable in the modern world.

In fact, if you think about it, they live in a time before us and their terms differ from what we have.  Perhaps the term "cousin" could mean something we're not familiar with all together.

So really, it may not be as wrong as you may think.

Anyways, to answer, I go with Littlefoot & Ali, followed by Ducky & Petrie. :)

Thanks for taking me out of the box. I never thought of it that way.
