So I was supposed to get a tattoo like two years ago, but never decided on what it should depict. Sooooo if there's a design, or picture, or whatever you think is cool, describe it, show a picture, something. I wanted it on my forearm, so that kinda hampars the size possiblity, but not too bad.

I don't really want to have to get one done off of someone else's idea, but I'm clueless.

But if we don't come up with anything, it's just going to have to be the lolwut pear...

Actually I like that tatoo image you already chose, but if you are seriously thinking of a REAL solid tatoo, I would say you should get a tatoo that you KNOW will be part of you for life. Unless you literally have nerves of steel(and I mean REAL nerves in your nervous system), it's going to be REALLY painful removing the tatoos if you don't want them anymore.

Get something that shows what you believe in, something you know you won't remove. That's what I think anyway.

Yeah, that's what I thought originally. But it's hard to think of a picture that represents something I believe in. I just refuse to pick something off the wall, or the book, or whatever the place has.

Get the Curse Mark

Real small, and easy to do. I'm talking about just the 3 black marks forming a triangle, not all the other crap going down his back.

It would be sick :p

EDIT: IMG tags wouldn't work for some reason

...ducky...

Seriously though. I know too little of tattoos to think of a good one.

Lol. I think I'll pass on that one. Unless I gain powers upon getting the tattoo. And I would have to get the matching contacts. :o

Edit: Ducky isn't a bad idea.

That makes me think a bit more about colors, though. I think I kind of wanting something that's completely black.

Maybe you want to use a treestar as a tattoo symbol? It would not be so distinct an LBT symbol as to scream out "LBT Fan!" into the world. And even if you happen not to be interested in LBT anymore some day a leaf is a symbol that can stand for many things. Green is also a color that is dominant in the motive you suggested yourself.
Personally I don't think I will ever have a tattoo, but if I was forced at gunpoint to be tattooed a treestar might be a symbol I could life with ;)

The first thing that popped into my head when I read that is all the brilliant people that live around me yelling "Is that a marijuana leaf?!"

But hey, I kinda like the idea. I never had thought of getting an LBT-related tattoo.

Kinda like the idea of some cool looking LBT scene, like something with a tree in it, and a treestar in the foreground.

A water-drop on the treestar could reflect anything you would like it to reflect combining the treestar with whatever you may like. I used a treestar with a droplet of water for my seal (in my signature). The water reflects a helmet.

Get Littlefoot clenching a katana in his teeth. Why? Dunno, but it sounds cool

^ Matter of taste of course. Personally I would find it kind of sad to have LBT characters hold weapons.

Except for the coconuts Petrie threw at the sharpteeth in 2. Near-lethal coconuts.

Anyway, I've been putting some though to it, and I might just hire an artist to draw me up something. Just another possibility, I guess.

I have a tattoo myself, a patch of green and yellow lizard scales on my right pec.  And I can tell ya, I put a lot of thought into it, about a year.  A tattoo is something you will be spending the rest of your life with.  I tried to find something of significance for my tattoo, being that I have been a fan of lizards since childhood, I decided to honor it with my tattoo.  You also need to keep in mind where you want to get it.  Fleshy places like the arm usually have less nerve endings.  Since I got the tattoo on my pec, I cannot quite describe how it felt but it was intense.  x..X  The five hours of pain was well worth it though!

As for making recommendations, I say sketch your own design, then take it to a tattoo artist you think you can trust and he or she can help add colors and depth.  Coming up with your own design makes the tattoo more personal because you pretty much made it yourself.  It takes a lot of pondering and contemplation, because whatever you want to get will stay on you for the rest of your life.  I hope I helped in some way, and when you do get that tattoo, good luck! :DD

Sure!  In fact, this kind of inspired me to start a tattoo show-us topic which is now up.  ^..^

Well I read that you like lizards, and went with that and started thinkin' of stuff that I liked. Looking at fish tatttos, now. Some are pretty cool.

The beautiful Japanese tattoos of carp come to mind when I think fish as a subject of a tattoo.  I'm just making a suggestion on that point, however. Since it's your own tattoo, what you want is completely up to you.  ^..^

What do y'all think about this,?

Of course, y'all might not like fish like I do. But I rather like that one.

I see you like hammerhead sharks.  :p  Well, if you'd like to go with flash art, there's no problem with it!  Just as long as you're absolutely sure about having it inked on for life!
