You know what I first thought of when I read Nick's question?  I read about a national news event where a girl was forcably kept in a room with no light, any nobody ever saw her.  Do you remember hearing about this, Nick?  I think she was called Jeanne once she was discovered, and I don't think they were able to get her to speak because she wasn't socially near other humans when she was growing up. :(

Either way, I don't think that was your answer. :P:

I've heard of her, but that's not the answer.

I'd be most surprised if my guess was right. It was sort of a random shot as nobody else to whom this applied came to my mind. Alas this has not changed yet.

If you mean Gerald de Pradieu, he is an actor who played the count of Monte Cristo, but he is no character from the 3 musketeers. The character I'm talking of is THE maincharacter of the 3 musketeers even though he is not one of the three. There is a person in history who was sort of a pattern for this character. This person was called: Charles de baz de Castelmore comte ... (the three dots mark the end of the name which I can't tell you as it is the name we are looking for).

If I had, I'd already have been guessing. ;)  There's a lot of books you've read, that I haven't.

Or go and check google if you want to take the fast way. Not that it would make too much of a difference with your 2000 words a minute, would it?  ;)
I wish my own speed reading practices were as successful. But I regret to say that I still have the impression of just overlooking a text taking in only parts of what it says whenever I do speedreading.

I don't know how to spell this guy's name, but I think the guy is Dartanion.  He's the guy who wants to be a musketeer like his dad, but he accidently got himself into three duels in one day against the 3 musketeers.

:yes  Right Kenji! You are certainly talking of the right guy and it is really difficult to tell how to spell his name from the sound of it. The correct spelling would be d'Artagnan. Your turn.  :)
