Title: The World According to Scrat
Post by: Adder on December 19, 2010, 09:11:15 AM
A new Ice Age short has been recently confirmed, from what a friend of my at Ice Age Wiki found, it is coming out December 26, 2010 with the movie Gulliver's Travels.

Other than it being all about Scrat, nothing is confirmed as of yet.

Here is what is says about:

The feature is preceded by an Ice Age animation short called 'The World According to Scrat', featuring a furry creature chasing after an acorn. This contains some fantastical comic action scenes.

I'm hoping that this is released with the Ice Age: Continental Drift DVD, I doubt I will buy Gulliver's Travels.

I'll just wait till Ice Age: Continental Drift comes out to watch this (that is if they show this short with it). I wouldn't go watch a movie I think is stupid just to watch a 10 to 15 minute short. That would be kind of dumb of me. :p I've done that before with Horton Hears a Who at school, I watched it to see the third IA short, and it was a waste of time. :bang

I know, I meant it wasn't worth watching a second time. I was just glad we watched something in school to get out of doing work.

Still can't wait for this short though.

It hasn't been confirmed by any valid sources yet that she will be appearing, she is only listed under the cast on IMDB. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

But Jennette McCurdy is confirmed, her role hasn't been told though.

And Karen Disher has been added to Rotten Tomatoes, that means Scratte! :DD

Hope so. Karen Disher has voiced two characters in the series, Scratte and a minor character, S'more, who I doubt will return.

I wonder if Scratte will appear in this new short considering it is about Scrat?

Quote
One of filmdom's most beloved trios - "Ice Age's" Manny, Diego, and Sid - embark upon their greatest adventure after cataclysm sets an entire continent adrift. Separated from the rest of the herd, they use an iceberg as a makeshift ship, which launches them on an epic seafaring quest. Manny and the gang are challenged like never before to become heroes and do the impossible, as they encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and battle ruthless pirates. And Scrat's reunion with his cursed nut catapults him to places no prehistoric squirrel has gone before.
