Riddle Me This...

Hey-O!

Just was sitting around thinking, and then got the idea to challenge y'alls brains with a few video gamer riddles.

First One:
A metal neither black nor red
As heavy as man's golden greed
Do what you must to stay ahead
By horse, by arrow, or by speed

Second:
What does man love more than life?
Fear more than death or mortal strife
What poor men have, and rich require
And what contented men desire.
What misers spend, and spendthrifts save,
And what comes after death and grave?

Third:
Whoever makes it,
Needs it not
Whoever buys it,
Wants it not
Whoever needs it,
Knows it not.

Kudos if anyone can tell me the game the first one is from!

It works, and this is an easy version

This Enigma Puzzle stuff can finally be used from the student as a teacher perspective

and I don't know the game, just the answers

unless it's in Morrowind somewhere and I forgot that... (does a Flame Atronach ask it?)

ah! it was, the Flame Atronach under Mount Kand asks it before you can continue on

it's not one puzzle it's a webpage with 100 levels, 93 of which are currently out, and this is a modified version of one of the levels, the colors are important!

The code is "Land Before Time".

The way it works: Blue=go down 1 (e=d, k=j, etc.)

Red=go up 1 (f=g, l=m, etc.)

Took me a bit to figure out that one. :^.^:
