Well, I like the addition of the Christian-themed books myself. Personally, I really don't know why people always want to try to explain this world without God. But that's as much as I'll say here, to avoid rule-breakage.

There are also a number of chapter books too.

We get these at the library where I work. I snagged a discarded copy of Christmas in Camelot because 'Merlin' has gotten me into Arthurian stuff. I can't read the part about Arthur banning magic without giggling and imaging someone telling them to blame Arthur's father LOL. I also have the Knights research guide.

Connor's mentor was Ramirez :) Or the longer form, Juan Sanchez Villa Lobos Ramirez.

I saw that Merlin leaving Arthur posts...maybe that's what makes the current Merlin more fun. It's not accurate completely to the legends, but it avoids that cliche.

I don't think it can be said for all series-from-movies....or are you talking just animated ones? I don't know there, haven't seen too many of them. The only one I was ever really a big fan of, Free Willy, wasn't originally animated, only the cartoon was. So if that's what you mean, I'm clueless. I've seen at least one or two movie-to series live action shows that were pretty good though.

I remember getting an advertisement in I think LBT 2 for LBT 3...but it said it was to be Journey Through The Mists and talked about Allie. Anyone know why it got pushed back to LBT 4 and Time of the Great Giving put in as 3?

The one other place I've seen Kenneth Mars besides Little Mermaid was an old episode of Rugrats...I remember the parents were having a costume party and he played one of the cops that got called...

I didn't know that about Chomper's voice...I love all 3 CSIs but even though I rewatched that ep not long ago, I didn't really make the connection. Was he the little kid Mac was trying to help who was the center of the killing involved?

1. Why is the Mysterious Beyond/land outside the valley so desolate in the original film and some sequels but greener in the series, as well as movies like LBT 4?

2. Is the "great rock that looks like a longneck" Saurus Rock?

The other part that wasn't revisited are the hatchlings at the end of LBT 2...Cera had like two new siblings...I think actually only Littlefoot didn't, there was even a younger version of Spike.

A shadow crossed the ground, a flyer gliding overhead. She was large as flyers go but as she was still young, she was a smaller one of her kind. she decided to land on a rock nearby but slipped, rolling a couple of times into the grass. "Aw, not again...sorry...didn't work out the way I wanted it to. Anyway, hi" Blaze said. (her bio's in the char thread and I forgot to say it there but you can get an idea of what she looks like by my avatar)

Species: Flyer(Quetzalcoatlus)
Age: Older juvenile..call her the equivelant of a teenager
Description: Yellowish-cream body with red head crest and neck that her name comes from. Beneath that is a second black blaze that extends down her neck and encircles her eye. Her beak is tipped in red also.
Bio: She was hatched outside the valley but came in after the rest of her small flock died, some from sharpteeth and some from illness.  She had a sharptooth run in of her own once because she got a little too daring toying with one of them that was trying to chase her and has a small tear in one wing from it, not enough to hinder flying unless the wind is high but landing can sometimes be tricky.  She's still a bit hyper at times and exhuberant but knows to be more careful now.

(yes it's a modified LBT version of my Highsoar persona lol)

Did they ever put out the second singalong, the LBT/American Tail one? I recall the advertisement on one of the sequel tapes but haven't seen anything of it since.

My parents took me to the theater to see the first one. I had to be about 7 since it came out in 88. Mom got the tape of the original but it was before the case type containers, it was just a box type cover (it's gone now :( ) The first tape wore out after a while and we had to get a new one...that was when the post office was selling them with the stamps.

I recall quite a bit of the Pizza Hut thing...I once had Ducky and Spike puppets and got Littlefoot later on but the darn things got lost in moving :( I also had two storybooks but am down to one now.

I had most of the sequels at one point but no longer do...I've thought about taping them off Cartoon Network but have never gotten around to it. I still have, I believe, 2,3 and 7 plus the sing a long.
