LBT Fanfiction / One Tough Decision
« on: June 18, 2017, 01:33:15 PM »
I have decided to create an extended ending of the Land Before Time X: The Great Longneck Migration. Each time I watch the movie, I always wonder how Littlefoot's decision to stay in the Great Valley has affected him; since he loves both of his grandparents and father; he didn't want to make any of them feel upset if he chose one over the other.

This story goes deep into Littlefoot's mind and explores how he might have felt when he had to make a tough decision.

The story is still a work in progress.

LBT Fanfiction / The Land Before Time: Ali's Return
« on: June 06, 2017, 05:22:11 PM »
Note: I was unsatisfied with how Ali was portrayed in her only appearance in the TV series; this is my take on Ali's reappearance and Rhett's debut. Instead of Rhett being a compulsive liar, he is more friendly towards the other kids and Ali is the way she was in her appearance in LBT4. I know in the TV series that Ali is purple; but, I decided to make her appear as how she looked like in Journey Through the Mists.

Littlefoot and Cera got the surprise of their lives when they saw a familiar hard while wandering around the valley.
"Littlefoot, do you see what I see?" Cera asked.
Littlefoot got a better look at the young longneck up ahead.
"Yes I do, Cera; it's Ali! I missed her so much; I still feel like I owe her for helping us save my grandpa's life when we brought back the Night Flower," Littlefoot exclaimed.
Cera nodded.
Soon enough, both of them ran over to greet their old friend.
"Ali!" both of them exclaimed in unison.
The pink longneck looked behind and saw Littlefoot and Cera coming up.
"Littlefoot, Cera! It's so good to see you again," Ali responded.
"We feel the same way, Ali," Cera stated.
Ali couldn't help but smile.
"I made a new friend since we left the Great Valley, want to meet him?" Ali asked.
"Sure; any friend of yours is a friend of mine," Littlefoot commented.
"Rhett; come on over here; I have some friends who want to meet you," Ali called out.
Soon another young longneck came into view. He appeared to be a bit shy since he wasn't expecting a longneck to be friends with a threehorn.
"Uh...hi," Rhett said.
"Hi Rhett, I'm Littlefoot and this is Cera; don't worry, she's pretty friendly as long as you stay on her good side and never bad mouth her family, especially her dad," Littlefoot explained.
"Nice to meet you; but I think she's more than capable of introducing herself, you know," Rhett replied.
Cera chuckled.
"No, no, that's all right," Cera assured him.
Rhett was glad to meet other kids outside of his herd.
"We have more friends for you to meet; that is, if you want to," Littlefoot said.
"Sure; the more the merrier," Rhett said.
"*Or as Ducky would put it, the more the betterer*" Cera thought to herself.
Soon enough, the four kids wandered over to the watering place where Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Ruby and Chomper were relaxing. Ducky soon noticed a familiar face, and a longneck she has never met.
"Hey guys; guess who came back," Littlefoot said.
"Ali! It is you," Ducky exclaimed.
"Yes it is, Ducky; Rhett; this is Ducky, over there is Spike, her brother and Petrie; I don't know who the fast runner is or the sharptooth is," Ali explained.
"Oh, pardon my rudeness; I'm Chomper and this is Ruby; you must be Ali and this longneck must be Rhett," Chomper replied.
Ali smiled and nodded.
"By the way, Ducky; how is Spike your brother?" Rhett wondered.
"Me and my family adopted-ed him; his real parents must have died in the Great Earthshake a long time ago; I could not leave him out there all alone or he could have died, too; after all, I hatched him and instantly became his older sister; family is not just blood relatives, you know, it is others who care about you," Ducky explained.
"Wow, you guys must have had it hard out there without any adult supervision and only surviving on instinct and possibly the leadership skills of Littlefoot," Ali stated.
"Yep; our journey to the Great Valley wasn't easy; and especially with the death of my mother; that's why I live with my grandparents and why they can be overprotective," Littlefoot added.
Rhett was impressed; all his life, he was protected by an entire herd of longnecks and not gaining any survivor skills that he could use for when he becomes a leader.
"Anyway, now that you're here, how about we go swimming," Littlefoot suggested.
"Actually, how about we play Rescue first; it's my favorite game; only, it would be more fun if there are seven more players," Rhett claimed.
The other nodded.
"Okay, Rhett; uh, how do you play?" Chomper asked.
"One of us plays the part of sharptooth and chases the others while a hero comes in and saves them; and since I suggested the game, you're the sharptooth," Rhett said.
"Of course I'm a sharptooth, wise guy...wait a second! Why am I always IT? Can't someone else be IT for once? Just because I'm a sharptooth, doesn't mean I have to do the chasing," Chomper snarled.
Soon enough, Petrie had something to say.
"He do have a point; how about me play part of sharptooth," Petrie suggested.
"Okay, fine fly boy-"
"Me name Petrie, Mr. Bossy," Petrie squawked while flapping his wings in annoyance.
Just when the kids were about to have fun, they were interrupted by Ali's herd.
"Oh, there you are; I see you have made some friends," Old One stated.
"Yes we did," Ali said.
Since the Old One wasn't formally introduced to Littlefoot's friends, Littlefoot introduced them to her.
"In all my years; I never known a longneck to be friends with other species, and especially a talking sharptooth; it's nice to see that you're including Ali and Rhett into your group," Old One commented.
"It's only while you're here, right? We're always happy to have her and Rhett join us in our games any time you bring your herd to the Great Valley," Littlefoot claimed.
Old One smiled.
"Well; I best be off; have fun children," Old One said as she led the herd away.
"Bye!" the children exclaimed in unison.
After a few rounds of Rescue, the children then decided to take a swim in the watering hole. Ducky was swimming towards the deep part of the water while the others were splashing around closer to the shallow end.
"This is so much fun! Me and Ali never have much fun since we're always on the go; sure, we take rest breaks at different valleys; but, I really love it here; I can't wait until I'm a grown up and can leave the herd," Rhett explained.
"Me neither; I'm sick of the migrating life; there's something about being a kid that I never liked; always having to go along with what everyone else was doing like I can't think for myself; but, at least I'll have something to look forward to, becoming a grown up so I can do what I want and not have any grown ups tell me what I can and can't do," Ali responded.
"You said it, Ali! Being a kid isn't all that bad; but, it's still nice to think about what life would be like if I was a grown up; as far as migrating goes, I wouldn't like it either; since I'm used to living here after the journey through the Mysterious Beyond," Littlefoot assured her.
Ali smiled.
She and Rhett were now convinced that being kids also had an upside to it; not having any responsibilites such as leading a herd. However, there are days when they feel like the grown ups treat them like hatchlings and not letting them do more things for themselves.
"There are times when we like to have more personal time; it could be something as simple as relieving ourselves when no one else is watching; we don't need an escort," Rhett stated.
"Or someone to give us a tongue bath...blech!" Ali stated, hanging her tongue out in disgust.
Littlefoot chuckled.
Later in the day, all the children along with Ali's herd and the Great Valley herd gathered around by the Thundering Falls. Rhett was introuced to the herd and got reacquainted with Ali. Grandma and Grandpa Longneck lowered their heads to Ali.
"It's wonderful to see you again, dear; and it's nice to meet you, Rhett," Grandma commented.
"Nice to meet you as well; Littlefoot and his friends are very nice; even Chomper; I never thought a sharptooth could learn to talk; the only sharpteeth I ever saw were mean and they didn't speak leaf eater," Rhett explained.
Grandma nodded.
"Just know that you and Ali will always have friends here in the Great Valley," Grandma said.
Rhett and Ali smiled.
"That's right! Best friends forever; although, I can't wait to grow up and choose to stay here if we happen to stop by again," Ali exclaimed.
Soon enough, Ali's mother lowered her head.
"You and Rhett have plenty of time to get older; enjoy your childhood while you can since it doesn't last forever; one day, you'll be old enough to make your own choices; but, for now, your place is with the herd; I promise we'll come visit our friends in the Great Valley once in a while," Cleo claimed.
"Okay, Mother," Ali said while Rhett nodded in agreement.
After a few days of rest in the Great Valley, Ali, Rhett and their herd set off on their migration once again. She and Rhett knew that one day when they're grown ups, they would return to the Great Valley to stay. But, that's another story.

LBT Fanfiction / The Land Before Time: A Forbidden Friendship
« on: May 26, 2017, 05:32:05 PM »
Main Characters

Lottie: a pink clubtail (she eventually grows up to be Kosh's mother)

Stella: a white clubtail (Lottie's mother)

Noah: a red clubtail (Lottie's father)

Mr. Thicknose

Kenneth: his appearance is like it is in the films (he grows up and eventually becomes Littlefoot's grandpa)

Serafina: Kenneth's sister (same color scheme; except that her eyes are green, not crimson)

Ivy: Kenneth's other sister (cobalt like her father with crimson eyes)

Lillian: a magenta longneck with crimson eyes (Kenneth, Serafina and Ivy's mother)

Hector: a cobalt blue longneck with green eyes (Kenneth, Serafina and Ivy's father)

Note: This is a backstory featuring Littlefoot's grandpa when he was little; about 6 years of age. He only has one friend who would eventually grow up to become Kosh's mother.

Kenneth was having a fun time playing with his new friend Lottie; however, as usual, his parents intervened on his fun. They believed it was wrong for longnecks to socialize with dinosaurs of other species; so, they felt that it was their right to punish him for it.
"Kenneth! What have I told you about playing with other kinds?" Lillian demanded.
"You don't understand! None of the other longnecks will let me play with them; they don't think I'm cool enough since I didn't give in to a dare they forced on me; they dared me to cross the Sinking Sand over to the Sheltering Grass, and I said there will be green food growing in the Mysterious Beyond before I do something stupid like that; I figured since I stood up to them, they'd allow me to play with them," Kenneth stated.
Lillian sighed.
"I also told Serafina and Ivy that I didn't want their pity and that they could go and play with their friends; if they don't want to include me, fine; no one should be forced to play with me just because Serafina and Ivy tried to convince those rockheads to consider," Kenneth continued.
"Maybe we should talk to their parents-"
"No; I don't want to play with those longnecks anyway; like it or not, Lottie is my friend and she would never dare me to do something that might risk my life; you two don't seem to understand that I have a brain and I can think for myself," Kenneth snarled.
"Do not interrupt your father; it's very rude," Lillian scolded him.
"Well, you weren't exactly polite when you barged in on my playtime with Lottie," Kenneth retorted.
All of a sudden, Hector grabbed Kenneth by this tip of his tail and walked away. Despite being angry, Kenneth didn't try to get out of Hector's grip. Lillian glanced at the clubtail child and then walked up to catch up with Hector. Upon getting back to the nest, Hector set Kenneth down gently into his sleeping spot.
"What's the big idea, huh? It's not night time yet," Kenneth protested.
"You're gonna stay here and think about what you were doing; I'm gonna go talk to Lottie's parents with your mother and let them know that she can't play with you anymore," Hector demanded.
"Why can't you seem to butt out of my business? If I want to play with Lottie, I will!" Kenneth declared.
Lillian could feel her temper coming to a boil; however, Hector managed to keep his temper under control. Upon seeing his wife in her current mood, Hector thought it would be a better idea to go talk to Lottie's parents while she goes off to blow off some steam.
"Change of plans, dear; I'll go talk to Lottie's parents while you go for a walk to calm down," Hector suggested.
Lillian nodded in agreement while she walked away from the area.
"Just for your insubordinate behavior and for playing with Lottie despite us telling you not to, there will be no sweet bubbles or tree sweets with your treestars for the next month," Hector growled.
Kenneth simply shrugged it off.
"Don't bother me, none; you took away my only friend, not even a bush of sweet bubbles is enough to make up for how much you and Mother embarrassed me just for playing with Lottie; now will you please GO AWAY?!" Kenneth demanded.
Hector growled under his breath while walking away. Upon reaching Lottie's nest, he noticed that her parents were catching the rays of the bright circle.
"Ah, Hector; just the longneck I've been meaning to talk to; you and Lillian have a lot of nerve for the way you treated Lottie," Stella said.
"She came back home in tears just because of you," Noah replied.
"Maybe it'll teach her a lesson for playing with my son! I explicitly stated that he wasn't allowed to play with her; and he disobeyed me; you need to do your part by keeping Lottie away from my son; she needs to play with children of her own species," Hector explained.
"You listen to me! If my little girl wants to play with your son, I have nothing against it, neither does Stella; so, do yourself a favor and butt out; now, please go away," Noah said.
"This isn't over..." Hector growled while walking away.
Meanwhile, Kenneth was sulking at his nest; Lillian was much calmer by the time she got home. However, she still wasn't happy with how Kenneth was acting and she decided to let him know how hurtful his words can be.
"I hope you know that I'm very disappointed in your behavior; not only did you disobey me and your father, you act like the punishments we give you are a big joke," Lillian scolded him.
"That's 'cause they are; think about how embarrassed and upset you'd be if your parents tried to stop you from playing with a dinosaur of a different species; I only acted up because you were being disrespectful to Lottie and you made her cry; she's never gonna want to play with me again because of you and Father," Kenneth explained as tears started flowing from his eyes.
She was about to lower her head to comfort him; but, he covered his face with his right forepaw and held up his left forepaw at her. Lillian took this as a sign that Kenneth didn't want to talk to her or be nuzzled. Soon enough, she sighed and left to go talk to Mr. Thicknose. Upon reaching the nest, Mr. Thicknose confronted her; he didn't seem happy.
"Lillian, you have a lot of nerve showing your face around here; before I send you on your way, I have something to tell you; the way you treated Lottie was disrespectful, and it also insulted her parents; I also noticed that Kenneth stood up for her when you and Hector stopped them from playing together; now, I think it's time for you to leave," Mr. Thicknose said.
Lillian sighed and then left the area. Although, she wasn't entirely opposed to Kenneth playing with Lottie; it was mainly due to her strict upbringing and bossy husband.

Chapter 1

The Great Valley seemed like a paradise for leaf eating dinosaurs of all kinds. It might keep out meat eating dinosaurs; however, the leaf eaters aren't immune to diseases or illnesses. One day during breakfast, Kosh seemed to have trouble just getting to his feet; he heard gurgling noises from the pit of his stomach and felt his muscles aching.
"*tsk* I wonder if any of the others are feeling like this," Kosh told himself.
After a few attempts to stand, he finally was able to get to his feet. However, a wave of dizziness prompted him to sit down for a moment. Once it passed, he stood up again and wandered over to the Feeding Grounds. Upon reaching his destination, he was stopped by Grandpa Longneck. The aging male lowered his head to get a better look at the clubtail.
"Are you sure you should be up and around? You don't look so good," Grandpa commented.
Kosh shrugged him off like any stubborn dinosaur would; even if the elder was just expressing his concern for his health.
"Don't worry about me; I think I just need some food to get my strength up," Kosh responded.
"All right; but, if you start feeling worse, it would be a good idea to go home and rest," Grandpa stated.
Kosh groaned and rolled his eyes. The longneck may have had a point; but, Kosh found it annoying to have stuff pointed out to him as if he was a child. To his relief, Grandpa wasn't trying to annoy him with questions about his health; he was just concerned. Just then, Kosh grabbed a few treestars from a bush with his mouth and started chewing. When he tried to swallow the thoroughly chewed food, he was having trouble getting it down his throat. Once he did manage to swallow the food, he found himself trying to fight a wave of nausea. Once again, Grandpa looked at him; a smug expression was seen on his face.
"Just to let you know; saying I told you so just doesn't cut it right now," Kosh snarled while walking away.
"How'd he know I was gonna say that?" Grandpa thought.
Grandpa shook his head and wandered over to a tree to get some treestars. Soon enough, Topsy walked up to him. Apparently, he had overheard the conversation he had with Kosh.
"What was that about?" Topsy questioned.
"Kosh is pretty sick and he was trying to hide it; however, I could see it's hard to hide an illness; I've been guilty of trying to hide illnesses during my childhood; especially with colds; I got tired of being treated like a baby whenever I got sick; Mother would go back to bathing me herself and wouldn't let me go to a relief spot by myself either; she never did this with my sisters whenever they got sick and it was so friggin' annoying considering I was the one who hatched first; *tsk* mothers; you know," Grandpa explained.
"Yeah; mothers can be more protective of their sons than their daughters; it's more of the father's job to protect their daughters," Topsy stated.
Grandpa nodded. However, he felt better about discussing his experience with illnesses from his childhood.
"There is one thing I neglected to mention during my rant; I almost succumbed every time to extreme high body temperature; and after I got well, Mother would punish me for a month; at least, she didn't believe in spanking; just grounding me to the nest and escorting me if I was hungry, thirsty or if I had to relieve myself; here's the catch; according to her, she HAD to be there and watch me to make sure I didn't get away; if I felt like I was being watched, I couldn't go; whether it was number one or number two; didn't matter," Grandpa added.
Topsy nodded. His own mother may have been a bit overprotective, but, not like Grandpa's mother.
"What your mother did to you makes my mother seem like a saint; and I always thought threehorn mothers were more protective of their sons," Topsy commented.
Grandpa sighed and nodded.
Meanwhile, Kosh was wandering around the valley; he might not have been feeling very good, but, he has certainly felt worse before. The aftertaste of the treestars still lingered in his mouth; which was weird since he usually doesn't mind it.
"Maybe a drink of water will get rid of the aftertaste," Kosh told himself.
Upon reaching a watering hole, he took a few sips of water. However, that particular pool of water was colder than some of the others; and cold water during an illness was hard on his stomach. He soon began to feel nauseous; however, he managed to settle his stomach before he started throwing up all over the place.
"Man, that's annoying," Kosh told himself.
Soon enough, Mr. Thicknose made his way over to the clubtail. He noticed that the younger male's muzzle was pale and that he has bags under his eyes and his face was all sweaty.
"Looks like you've caught that virus that has been going around," Mr. Thicknose told him.
Kosh shrugged him off.
"Ah, I'm fine," Kosh tried to sound reassuring.
"You're not fine; from the looks of things, it seems like you haven't been getting enough sleep over the last few days; and I noticed that you're not eating enough to satisfy a child's hunger; don't you usually eat an entire bush of treestars along with a bush of sweet bubbles and five tree sweets at breakfast?" Mr. Thicknose wondered.
Kosh turned his head, closed his eyes and held up his right forepaw.
"Stop! All this talk about food makes me want to puke!" Kosh exclaimed.
"All right, I'll stop; but, you know I'm right," Mr. Thicknose teased him.
After managing to fight off yet another wave of nausea, Kosh turned back around to Mr. Thicknose. Soon enough, the elder saw the younger male shivering and checked him over.
"Sore throat, fever, nausea, aches and pains, a stuffy nose; and of course, dizziness; looks like you're sick; how about you go home and get some rest; the illness should be gone within a week or two," Mr. Thicknose responded.
Kosh nodded and headed back to his nest.
Once he was out of earshot, Grandpa Longneck showed up behind Mr. Thicknose.
"I'd like to say I told you so to him; but, I held my tongue," Grandpa commented.
"Yeah; that guy is the most stubborn dinosaur I've ever known; next to you, that is," Mr. Thicknose stated.
"I beg your pardon?" Grandpa demanded.
Mr. Thicknose turned to face the younger elder.
"When you were a kid and would get sick; I'd give your mother instructions of how to treat your illnesses and you always insisted that you were fine," Mr. Thicknose answered.
"Ah, that was just to keep Mother from babying me; I was sick and tired, literally; but, also sick and tired of being treated like a baby just because of an illness; this was a subject I was talking to Topsy about earlier; and how annoyed I got at her and I have told her so many times to leave me alone so I can recover during my childhood," Grandpa ranted on.
"What has gotten you so annoyed? Is it because I said you were stubborn during your childhood?" Mr. Thicknose demanded.
"That's pretty much it, yeah," Grandpa answered.
"Sorry, I was just being honest; you really were stubborn and yet had the tendency to assert your independence from a very young age which annoyed your mother," Mr. Thicknose said.
Grandpa nodded.
Soon enough, he remembered one time after he had recovered from an illness.

Flashback

A 6 year old Kenneth has just recovered from a very bad cold; however, during the illness, he stubbornly resisted the care of his mother since she had the tendency to baby him. Just when he was about to go off with his friends, he was pulled back by his mother's tail.
"Where do you think you're going, young man?" Lillian demanded.
"Out to play," Kenneth answered.
Lillian sighed.
"You're not going anywhere for the next month; at least not without an escort; and you're going back to get tongue baths for the duration of your punishment," Lillian scolded him.
"A month? Mother, that's not fair," Kenneth complained.
"Listen to me VERY CAREFULLY; you don't get to decide what's fair and what's not since you're a child and I'm a grown up; and as your mother, I get to punish you the way I see fit; you nearly died since you let your body temperature reach a dangerous level and I was scared for you; and as a result, you're not playing with any of your friends and they will not be coming over here," Lillian explained.
"I don't care what you say; I draw the line at tongue bathing," Kenneth snarled.
"Who's the parent here? You or me?" Lillian demanded.
Kenneth was rendered speechless; he has never seen his mother this angry before and curled his tail around his body while he was sitting down.
"Whether you agree with this or not, the punishment stands," Lillian added.
Kenneth sighed and nodded.

Flashback end

"This makes me glad that I hardly ever got sick when I got older," Grandpa claimed.
Mr. Thicknose nodded.
Both males were hoping that none of the other herd members would get sick and also hoped for Kosh to get better fast.

LBT Fanfiction / Land Before Time/Sonic Crossover
« on: March 11, 2017, 10:53:10 AM »
This is a crossover idea I had in my mind; basically, Sonic and a few of his friends decide to travel to the Great Valley.

However, after pressing a button, a system malfunction brought themselves, their houses along with Tails' workshop and inventions including his plane that was equipped with a dimension traveling device to the Great Valley.

This story takes place five years after the dinosaurs migrated to the Great Valley; so, that makes the kids 10 years old.

Little did they know, that Eggman had stolen the plans from Tails and had equipped his egg shaped flying machine with the same thing; and yet, his fortress also appeared in the Great Valley; but, it landed on the border near the Mysterious Beyond.

I have three chapters posted on fanfiction.net.

LBT Fanfiction / The Land Before Time: Death in the Great Valley
« on: March 03, 2017, 03:14:13 PM »
Note: This is one of my story ideas that I'm bringing to life. I've always been curious of what Littlefoot's life would be like if he was taken in by Cera's family until he was grown up. The gang of five is in their early teens.

Chapter 1

It was a sad day in the Great Valley; the herd gathered around Littlefoot's grandparents as they were about to die. Things were never gonna be the same without them; and Littlefoot would have to be taken in by a neighboring herd since he was too young to take care of himself.
As usual, Topsy was skeptical of taking him in; however, if he was taken in by Petrie's family, he'd have to endure the yelling of Petrie's brothers and sisters. Ducky's family was also another option he couldn't go with considering her mother had too many kids already. In the end, he took Cera's family up on the offer to stay with them until he was all grown up.
Grandma and Grandpa smiled knowing that Littlefoot will be well looked after once they were gone.
"Don't worry about Littlefoot; we'll look after him; I'm gonna miss you guys," Topsy admitted.
"We'll miss all of you; and especially you Littlefoot," Grandpa claimed.
Littlefoot nuzzled his grandparents; soon enough, the last breath of life escaped their bodies. He then stood back and allowed for his unshed tears to stream down his face and onto the ground in front of him. Although, Topsy had better control over his emotions, the death of Grandma and Grandpa Longneck still made him feel sad. Soon enough, the old longnecks were buried by the entrance of the valley; it was Littlefoot's request for their resting place and would eventually become his when he dies of old age.
Throughout the day, Littlefoot was becoming increasingly depressed. Cera had offered to be the seeker in a game of Hide and Seek; but, he politely declined. Even though the young threehorn was disappointed, she understood that if Littlefoot didn't want to play, she took no for an answer and then left to find Ducky, Petrie and Spike. Once Cera had left, Topsy took it as his cue to see if Littlefoot wanted to talk. He wandered over to the young longneck laid down next to him. Littlefoot turned his gaze over to the adult threehorn and sighed.
"Something on your mind, son?" Topsy asked.
Littlefoot nodded.
"I know what it's like to lose a loved one; my mother died when I was about your age and I was taken in by my father's parents; they may have been my guardians until I was old enough to live by myself; but, I still preferred to be with my mother; I was a Mama's Boy back in the day; my father ditched the family to make a second one in order to replace me; see, after my twin brother died, my father left; he came back after a couple of years and impregnated my mother; she lost the hatchling and he blamed me; he left again after that; haven't seen him since I was 8; ever since then, I tried to make myself seem tough due to the crap I endured," Topsy explained.
Littlefoot was amazed; was this the same threehorn who instantly hated him upon first meeting? Now, he was sharing something that he kept hidden since childhood. Littlefoot wasn't expecting him to share something THAT personal; he must really trust him.
"Why were you telling me all this? I thought you would like to keep stories of your childhood to yourself," Littlefoot claimed.
"To be completely honest, witnessing your grandparents' deaths brought back a memory of when I witnessed my own mother's death; you see, I was only 16 when she died; and you're how old?" Topsy wondered.
"A year younger than you were when you lost your mother," Littlefoot told him.
Topsy nodded.
"Anyway, I'm sorry about your grandparents; they were fair leaders; and I'm still thankful to your grandpa for saving me and Cera from the fire so many years ago and thankful to you for bringing her back alive when you were just hatchlings," Topsy said.
Littlefoot nodded.
"And I'm thankful that you took me in; considering that I'm too young to live on my own; and since my grandparents were your friends and Cera is my best friend, I don't see a problem with us being friends; age doesn't matter really; nor does species," Littlefoot explained.
Topsy nodded in agreement.
If Littlefoot was going to stay with Cera's family until he reaches adulthood, he would have to be able to get along with them. However, he was never expected to forget how caring his grandparents were to him when they were alive. He would eventually not get so emotional over the loss after a while; with help from his friends and the herd.
"Grandma, Grandpa, wherever you are; I couldn't thank you enough for taking care of me after Mother died; I miss you already; I'll always remember you as the wise leaders you were when you were alive," Littlefoot said while looking up at the sky.
Just then, three cloud figures showed up. One of them was his mother and the other two were his grandparents. The breeze blew lightly as if they were nuzzling him.
"We'll always be with you...even if you can't see us," Littlefoot heard his grandma's voice for the last time.
Littlefoot started shedding more tears; and another breeze blew lightly against his face to wipe away his tears. Topsy thought he might have been going crazy; it wasn't just Littlefoot who felt the presense of his mother and grandparents; he did, too. Soon enough, a cloud shape of a threehorn appeared in the sky. He recognized the figure as his mother.
"She must have seen that I agreed to take care of Littlefoot after his grandparents died," Topsy thought.
Soon enough, the figures disappeared back into the afterlife. Littlefoot now felt comforted to know that he would be well taken care of even if it's with a family who isn't related to him.

Note: This is just my interpretation of how Littlefoot's grandparents lived before they became a married couple. They are referred to by their birth names. (yeah, yeah, I gave them human names) Giving the characters human names is just my preference; besides, I'm not very good at making up names.

Chapter 1

Falling in love is a hard time for an adult longneck; especially if he's in love with a female who is four years older than him. Kenneth is just 21 years old, an age considered old enough to marry a female who is a few years older. However, his father had a problem with him wanting to marry the longneck he was in love with. Her name is Miriam; and she is the most mature of the females he has ever met. However, his father would never let him marry her since he and his mate were teenagers when she was born. The father and son were having a serious talk about this issue among a thick grove of trees.
"Look, son, this is important; you gotta give her up, man! She's too old for you," Hector demanded.
Kenneth disagreed by shaking his head. He was FED UP with how his father was trying to run his life.
"Father, I know Miriam is in her mid-20's; but, it doesn't matter to me, or to Mother and the girls," Kenneth shot back.
"Who cares what your mother or your sisters or you think? I don't want you marrying a female who was born during mine and your mother's teen years," Hector snarled.
"Do you just hate me? Is that why you're trying to dictate every aspect of my life? What will it take for you to stop trying to control my life like I was a hatchling?" Kenneth demanded.
Kenneth wasn't normally easily startled; but, when Hector slammed his tail into the ground, knocking treestars off the branches in the process, it made him jump a little.
"Don't you ever talk to me like that again! I am your father and I know what's best for you!" Hector snarled.
And with that, Hector stormed off to be alone.
Meanwhile, Miriam was having the same problem with her own father.
"Father, I know you think Kenneth is too young for me; but, none of the other males I met have treated me like an equal; they only saw me as a female-"
"But, you are a female; and as my only daughter, I think I know what's best for you," Ignatius cut her off.
"Grrrrr! You wouldn't be so hard on me if you had more daughters," Miriam snarled.
"You got a point, there; but, even if I did manage to produce more daughters, I'd still want you to marry someone your own age; and I'm also certain that Hector is telling Kenneth the same thing," Ignatius told her.
Miriam WAS NOT about to let her father tell her how to live her life. She is in love with Kenneth; and if her father didn't like it; that's just too bad.
"And another thing; don't tell me that I can't tell you what to do," Ignatius demanded.
Miriam hung her head and wandered away from her father. Soon enough, Ignatius saw his frenemy Hector come up to him.
"So, Ignatius, I hear you're having problems controlling that daughter of yours," Hector said.
"Don't start with me, Hector; and besides, you don't seem to have much control over your son," Ignatius retorted.
Hector sighed.
"I don't know what to do; Kenneth was mouthing off to me like he knew more than I do; and I know that we want our children to marry longnecks their own age, not each other," Hector explained.
Ignatius nodded.
Meanwhile, Kenneth and Miriam had gathered their mothers and siblings around to discuss their problem they are having with their fathers. However, her nestmate brother Miles spoke out against her.
"I'm sorry to say this; but, I agree with Father; you should marry a male who is your own age," Miles said.
"I'm not asking for your permission, Miles; you seem to forget that I was THE ONE to hatch FIRST!" Miriam snarled.
All the other longnecks gasped at the 25 year old female's response.
"What? I'm just asserting my independence!" Miriam protested.
"And you're doing a great job showing Miles that he can't boss you around," Amos said.
Miles looked down at the 12 year old male. Soon enough, he looked over at Connie.
"Mother..." Miles responded.
Connie shook her head.
"If you think me or Father is gonna walk you down the aisle to marry this riff-raff, you are sadly mistaken," Miles declared.
"Who says I was gonna ask you or Father? I was gonna ask Shadow," Miriam retorted.
"He's not doing it either; in fact, I DO NOT support this union," Miles snarled.
"Whether you agree or not, this union WILL happen! Kenneth already asked me this morning and I said yes!" Miriam barked back.
Connie and Lillian couldn't help but smile; their eyes were leaking with tears of joy as they nuzzled the newly engaged couple. Miles stormed away from the group; he WAS NOT in the mood to see anybody for a while because of how Miriam talked to him.
"Hopefully he'll think about what I said and stop trying to boss me around," Miriam stated.
Meanwhile, Miles came across Hector and Ignatius; despite still being in a bad mood, he addressed the older longnecks and informed them of what happened.
"She did WHAT?!" Ignatius demanded.
"Kenneth proposed to her and she said yes; and then she put on this big show about how I have no right to tell her what to do; what are we gonna do?" Miles wondered.
"There's no WE in this, son; I am gonna put a stop to this," Ignatius declared.
Miles sighed.
Soon enough, Ignatius trudged over to his daughter.
"We need to talk," Ignatius demanded.
Once the father and daughter were away from the group, Ignatius began to talk.
"Young lady, you accepted a marriage proposal from someone who didn't ask me for my blessing! Even if he did ask, I would tell him no! Now I want you to march right over there and tell him that you changed your mind and that he's not good enough for you," Ignatius replied.
"I'm not gonna do that," Miriam said.
Ignatius sighed.
"Besides, it's my life and-"
"ENOUGH! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR INSUBORDINATE BEHAVIOR! DO WHAT I SAY AND THEN I'LL FIND A MATE FOR YOU!" Ignatius shouted.
Despite listening to her father shouting, Miriam managed to keep her emotions under control.
Meanwhile, Hector was giving the same lecture to Kenneth.
"You two are not staying together! Break off your engagement and then I'll help you choose a wife who would be good for you," Hector demanded.
"What's so important about age, Father?" Kenneth wondered.
"Don't question me about it! Just do what I say!" Hector snarled.
"No," Kenneth declared.
Hector sighed.
"It's MY life and if I want to marry Miriam, it's MY decision and MINE ALONE!" Kenneth added.
"No it's not! If I don't want you and Miriam getting married, it's not gonna happen," Hector declared.
"That's what you think...Hector," Kenneth snarled while walking away.
The older male was shocked; his own son calling him by his name.

LBT Fanfiction / Littlefoot's Nightmare
« on: May 20, 2016, 10:17:35 PM »
Disclaimer: I don't own The Land Before Time characters. Only my OC's

A/N: This story mainly focuses on Littlefoot's nightmares of his mother's death. My OC's are vaguely mentioned in this.

Everyone in the Great Valley was having a very good sleep. Only one individual is having trouble. Littlefoot has been suffering from nightmares of his mother's death ever since he arrived at the Great Valley. He was crying in his sleep; luckily for him, his grandparents were heavy sleepers.

"No! No! Mom! Please don't die! I need you!" Littlefoot called out.

Meanwhile, Cera realized she couldn't sleep either. She wandered over to get a drink when she heard Littlefoot pleading in his sleep. After a moment, Cera decided that her drink can wait for a while. She had a more important thing to do; and that is to make sure Littlefoot was okay. She rushed to his side and nudged him. He woke up, startled and looked at Cera with tears streaking all over his cheeks.

"Cera? What are you doing here?" Littlefoot asked.

"Well; I was on my way to the watering hole for a drink when I heard you screaming; that's when I decided that I can get a drink later; I was just checking to see if you were okay," Cera admitted.

Littlefoot couldn't believe this. Cera had changed so much since he met her a year ago.

"CERA!" Topsy called out.

The threehorn saw her dad rushing towards her and Littlefoot. He noticed the tears all over Littlefoot's face.

"I thought you were just gonna get a drink; and here you are with Littlefoot; and why is Littlefoot crying?" Topsy wondered.

Soon enough, Grandma and Grandpa Longneck woke up. They wandered over to where Cera, Topsy and Littlefoot are. They bent down and noticed that Littlefoot's face was covered in tears.

"Oh dear; did you have the dream again?" Grandma asked.

"The one about your mother dying in front of you?" Grandpa added.

Littlefoot looked at his grandparents and nodded.

"You poor thing; I'm so sorry," Grandma replied, nuzzling him.

Grandpa looked over at Topsy.

"What are you looking at? I was just checking to see what Cera was up to," Topsy defended himself.

Grandpa lowered his head to Cera.

"Shouldn't you be in bed?" Grandpa asked.

"I couldn't sleep; my own mother's death was hard on me, too," Cera admitted.

"I see; well, as I told your father, I'm sorry for your loss," Grandpa said.

"Thanks," Cera said.

Grandpa smiled.

Littlefoot felt better after a while. Soon enough, Cera and Topsy went back to their nest and Littlefoot managed to fall asleep again. Grandma and Grandpa smiled over at their sleeping grandson.

"I think he's gonna be okay; he still has a family here and a bunch of friends," Grandpa said.

"Yeah," Grandma replied.

Soon enough, they both went back to sleep with smiles on their faces.

Disclaimer: I don't own The Land Before Time characters. Only my OC's.

A/N: This story takes place when Littlefoot and Cera are in the Time of Great Growing. My OC's are briefly mentioned. Bron and Topsy may seem to have changed character roles. I thought it was nice for Bron to have a prejudiced parent like Topsy. I also made it hard for him to see his children as grown ups.

Littlefoot and Cera have now entered the Time of Great Growing. They soon realized their feelings for each other. Their gang have expected this to happen; but, telling the rest of the elders will be a much harder task. Once they gathered all the elders, they began to explain their situation.

"Cera and I were talking and we both realized our love for each other," Littlefoot said.

Soon enough, Bron spoke up.

"Are you out of your minds? This could never work; I won't let this happen, it's absolutely out of the question," Bron snarled.

Topsy stomped on Bron's foot. That made the older longneck yelp in pain.

"What was that for?" Bron asked.

"That was for talking out of turn you idiot," Topsy retorted.

The others nodded towards Bron.

"Dad; I'm not a child anymore; I think I can choose my own mate," Littlefoot stated.

Bron frowned.

"Frankly my son; I don't give a damn; as soon as we leave the Great Valley; we'll find you a suitable mate; she'll be a longneck-"

"Or a male longneck," Kosh cut in.

Littlefoot glared at the pink clubtail. Kosh's remark earned a chuckle from Topsy.

"I am not gay, Kosh," Littlefoot sneered.

Bron cleared his throat.

"As I was saying before a certain rock head interrupted me; Littlefoot, you will get a female longneck mate-and Kosh; if you interrupt me one more time; I'm gonna beat the living crap out of you," Bron snarled.

At this remark; Kosh decided to stay quiet.

"I don't want to leave, Dad; and I'm not going to," Littlefoot responded.

"You don't have a choice, Littlefoot; we leave tomorrow before the Bright Circle rises; spend as much time with your friends while you can; because this is the last time you'll see them," Bron threatened.

"Dad; I'm not saying goodbye because I'm not leaving; I can't just leave them behind just because you want me to have a longneck mate," Littlefoot explained.

"Littlefoot; you are coming with me; I don't care what you say," Bron retorted.

Everyone noticed that Littlefoot was getting upset; even Topsy noticed it.

"Look at yourself; you sound just like my father; he was for separation of the species; I learned long ago that no matter what we are on the outside; we're the same on the inside," Topsy said.

Bron glared at Topsy.

"How dare you! Littlefoot is my son; if I don't want him loving Cera, then that's my choice," Bron replied.

"I do love Cera; sure we're not the same species; but, it doesn't matter to us; so, I would like it if you respect my decision," Littlefoot said.

"NEVER! THAT'S IT! CHANGE OF PLANS; WE LEAVE RIGHT NOW! ALL OF YOU LONGNECKS, NOW!" Bron ordered at the top of his lungs.

Grandpa stepped up to face Bron.

"No Bron; we're not leaving," Grandpa said.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Bron shouted.

"I SAID NO! YOU CAN'T JUST EXPECT EVERYTHING TO GO YOUR WAY!" Grandpa shouted back.

Bron growled.

Soon enough, Topsy decided that he wanted to talk to Bron. Once they were alone, they started talking.

"What is it with you, Bron? Why aren't you approving Cera's relationship with Littlefoot?" Topsy asked.

Bron sighed.

"I don't know; maybe it's because I want what is best for him," Bron responded.

"I think this issue goes deeper than that," Topsy said.

Bron sighed and nodded.

"Yeah; I have issues with letting go and seeing that Littlefoot is pretty much grown up; but, you understand, right?" Bron asked.

"I do understand what you mean; I still see Cera as a child; but, I stop and think about what she would like instead of thinking about what I expect of her; the news of Littlefoot and Cera falling in love surprised me too; but, I realize that they're not children anymore and deserve to be treated as grown ups," Topsy explained.

Bron lowered his head in shame.

"There was one longneck I vowed never to be like; my mother; she is a lot like your dad; she was for separation of the species too," Bron said.

Topsy nodded.

"There is a way you can make it up to everyone; just admit you're wrong and make a public apology," Topsy replied.

Bron always hated public apologies. They were one of his weakest points; he had this thing where he always had to be right.

"Okay; but, I'm not very good at this," Bron admitted.

"Just do it! Treat it like taking medicine; it's not fun; but, we all need to hear the apology; especially your in-laws, Littlefoot and Cera," Topsy explained.

Bron nodded.

Once all the residents were gathered at the Thundering Falls, Bron told them he had something to say.

"Everyone; I would like to say I'm sorry for making a big deal out of this; it's hard for me to accept that Littlefoot isn't a child anymore; I overreacted and turned into my mother; she was stubborn and didn't want longnecks and other species to be friends; if you don't forgive me, I completely understand," Bron explained.

Littlefoot was still angry and faced his dad.

"Do you think one sorry is gonna make it up to me and Cera? Well, do you?" Littlefoot asked.

Bron was silent.

"Let me tell you something; apology not accepted," Littlefoot snarled.

As he and Cera walked away, Bron looked at Topsy.

"I don't know, Bron; but, I'm sure they'll forgive you if you give them some time and space," Topsy stated.

Bron nodded.

A while later, Littlefoot and Cera were at the Tall Trees; Grandma and Grandpa Longneck and Topsy stopped by to talk to them. They looked up at the elders and sighed.

"We know you are angry at Bron; but, he really is sorry," Grandma said.

"He yelled at us and embarrassed us in front of everybody; it's not fair," Littlefoot said.

"We were embarrassed by his behavior too; so, we completely understand," Grandpa responded.

Littlefoot and Cera nodded.

"He feels really bad about it?" Littlefoot asked.

"Yes he does; I could tell he was getting upset when I talked to him; and he was almost crying when he made that apology," Topsy explained.

Littlefoot lowered his head in shame.

"And I said those awful things to him; but, it was just said out of anger," Littlefoot claimed.

"Then, you know what you must do," Grandma said.

Littlefoot nodded.

Moments later, they all walked over to Bron while he was gazing into the watering hole. He turned his head and looked at group.

"Dad; I have decided to forgive you for what you said; and, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings; I was just angry before and still embarrassed by your earlier behavior," Littlefoot explained.

"I'm sorry too," Cera added.

Bron smiled.

"I forgive you; if you love each other, don't let me stop you; I hope you'll have a good life together," Bron stated.

Littlefoot and Cera smiled.

"Thanks Dad; I'm glad everything worked out for the best," Littlefoot said.

Bron stood up and nuzzled Littlefoot.

"Hey Topsy; thanks for talking some sense into me; I was being ungrateful and needed that talk," Bron responded.

"It was no problem; I'm just glad we're all friends again," Topsy claimed.

Littlefoot and Cera were glad that they can be more open about their relationship. Soon enough, everything returned to normal.

LBT Fanfiction / Urine Trouble
« on: September 21, 2015, 11:25:17 PM »
Littlefoot and his friends were having fun playing in the watering hole. Suddenly, the game was put to a stop when Littlefoot grabbed his crotch with his paws.

"Wait guys! I gotta pee, BAD!" Littlefoot exclaimed.

"Go ahead then," Cera said.

"Here in the water and in front of everybody? No way!" Littlefoot sneered.

Littlefoot ran out of the water to look for a quiet spot away from everybody. He really didn't want to pee out in the open; the thought of it made him feel uneasy; that was one thing he and Cera's dad have in common. While searching for a spot, he saw some kids swimming and splashing around in another watering hole. The movement of the water was making it worse for him.

"I can't take it!" Littlefoot told himself, while panting.

He felt a sharp pain in his abdomen while trying to keep his bladder from emptying itself.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Littlefoot moaned.

Soon enough, he came across some bushes. As it turns out, some kids were hiding.

"Damn it! I mustn't pee now," Littlefoot told himself.

After a while, he wandered around and saw a tree. After getting a closer look, the trunk had an open space at the bottom. It was a storing space for sweet bubbles; it was owned by Kosh. Littlefoot wasn't on the best terms with the pink clubtail and he didn't want to piss him off by peeing on his sweet bubbles.

Moments later, Topsy came into view and walked up to him.

"Say, Littlefoot; you look terrible," Topsy pointed out.

Littlefoot nodded and panted.

"Yeah; listen, I really need to go badly; have you ever thought that there's no relief spot private enough for you? I can't go when too many people are near me," Littlefoot explained.

"I also can't go with too many people near me; not even Tria; I also like having complete privacy," Topsy answered.

Out of the corner of Littlefoot's eye, he saw Kosh casually taking a leak. Topsy spoke up again.

"I seriously don't know how Kosh can be so casual about public urination; well, at least it's not on the sweet bubble bush near my nest," Topsy added.

Littlefoot nodded.

"I was aiming to go on that tree; but, the trunk was filled with sweet bubbles," Littlefoot stated.

Topsy nodded.

"Yeah; he'd be pretty pissed if he found your urine on his sweet bubbles," Topsy told him.

"Nice to see you; but, I really gotta go," Littlefoot said.

Once Littlefoot was gone, Topsy shook his head.

"Poor kid; hope he doesn't wet himself before he gets to a relief spot; that's something no kid should have to endure; I've been there before," Topsy said to himself.

Meanwhile, Cera and the others were waiting on Littlefoot.

"What's taking him so long?" Cera asked.

"Maybe he needs to go number two as well," Ducky claimed.

"Ducky might be right; he sure taking long time," Petrie added.

Cera groaned.

"This is taking forever; I'm gonna go look for him," Cera growled.

"Me no do that if me were you, Cera," Petrie responded.

Meanwhile, Littlefoot found a pile of bushes by the Secret Caverns. He sighed with relief when he didn't see anybody there. Moments later, he ducked into the bushes and positioned himself accordingly to empty himself. Just as he was about to do his business, Hyp and his friends walked by.

"Hi Littlefoot; it's such a lovely day and you're hiding in the bushes," Hyp said.

"Do you guys mind? I would like some privacy," Littlefoot stated.

"He's right, Hyp; even I don't like when others watch me while relieving myself," Nod claimed.

"Uh, yeah; let's go so he can do his business," Mutt agreed.

With that, Mutt grabbed Hyp by the arms and pulled him away, Nod followed close behind them. Littlefoot sighed happily.

"Thanks Mutt," Littlefoot said.

"No problem, kiddo," Mutt said.

Once the older boys were gone, Littlefoot felt relaxed enough to do his business. He got back into position and started peeing. He sighed with relief as his bladder was getting emptied.

"Ahhhhhhhhh! So much better!" Littlefoot exclaimed to himself.

After cleaning himself up, he left the bushes and went back to his friends.

"There you are; we were wondering where you were," Ducky stated.

"Yeah; Cera was about to look for you; but me say you need privacy," Petrie added.

"What took you so long?" Cera wondered.

"I was trying to find a private enough relief spot; it took a while since I couldn't find one private enough until I got near the Secret Caverns; Hyp and his friends were out hat way and I didn't know; however, Mutt managed to get Hyp away from the bushes," Littlefoot explained.

The others nodded.

"I am just glad you are all right," Ducky claimed.

"Me too," Petrie added.

Spike murmured in agreement while everyone else nodded.

"Let's get back to playing; I'll be the swimmer this time," Littlefoot claimed.

"Okay," Cera said.

There was one lesson Littlefoot learned; never drink too much water and to go find a relief spot to do his business before it becomes an emergency.

LBT Fanfiction / The Sore Ankle Incident
« on: August 29, 2015, 12:23:24 AM »
Littlefoot and the gang were playing Toss the Seed until one of them fell and landed funny on one of his hind legs.

"Ahhhhh! My ankle really hurts!" Littlefoot yelled.

The others rushed to his aid; Ducky went in for a closer look. Littlefoot's hind left leg was injured and started to swell.

"Oh swell; now what we do?" Petrie asked.

Cera glared at Petrie.

"Not a good time Petrie; Littlefoot needs to get his ankle wrapped up so it can heal; luckily, it's only twisted, not broken," Cera pointed out.

Moments later, Topsy came by and saw the kids just crowding around Littlefoot.

"What in the heck happened here?" Topsy asked.

"We were playing Toss the Seed and Littlefoot tripped and twisted his ankle; the one on his left hind leg," Cera explained.

"You don't know how often I had that happen to me when I was a kid," Topsy replied.

The gang nodded.

"Okay Ducky and Petrie; you two are the only ones with hands; so, try and find as many healing leaves, sticks and vines; Littlefoot's ankle needs to stay perfectly still so it can heal; I hurt my ankle many times in my life; his ankle should feel better soon," Topsy explained.

Ducky and Petrie nodded and went to gather the supplies. Topsy looked over at Littlefoot.

"Are you doing okay?" Topsy asked.

"Considering my sore ankle; I guess I'm okay," Littlefoot answered.

Topsy smiled.

"Good; I'm glad it's just twisted, not broken," Topsy claimed.

Littlefoot nodded.

"Me too; broken ankles take longer to heal," Littlefoot responded.

Soon enough, Ducky and Petrie came back with healing leaves, sticks and vines; then, they wrapped up Littlefoot's sore ankle.

"Good job; that way, Littlefoot's sore ankle can heal properly," Topsy commented.

Cera walked up to her dad.

"Thanks Dad; you were a big help," Cera commented.

Topsy smiled down at Cera.

"Yeah; thanks," Littlefoot stated.

"No problem, children; I better get going before Kosh marks his territory on the best looking sweet bubbles," Topsy said.

After that, the threehorn made his way over to the Thundering Falls. Littlefoot smiled happily since Topsy was helpful with the issue on his sore ankle.

"I never knew your dad knew some things about healing," Littlefoot said.

"He learned from his mom; and Tria taught him a thing or two as well," Cera responded.

Littlefoot smiled. However, he was disappointed that he wasn't able to play for a while due to his ankle. So, the gang decided to just hang out with him and talk while he rested his ankle.

"I appreciate this, guys; you are such great friends," Littlefoot commented.

Spike murmured happily and gave Littlefoot a friendly lick on the cheek. Littlefoot chuckled at the feeling of Spike's tongue. In return, Littlefoot gave Spike a friendly lick on the cheek.

After a while, The others gathered enough food for all of them to share. They all ate their meal and continued their talk.

"I sure hope this ankle heals soon; I'm so bored," Littlefoot complained.

"Yeah; getting hurt sucks," Cera agreed.

When it was nighttime, the gang fell asleep where they were.

Meanwhile, Topsy went over to talk to his best friends at their nest. The elderly longnecks looked down at the threehorn.

"Hey you two," Topsy said.

"Hi Topsy," Grandma replied.

"Littlefoot got hurt earlier during a game of Toss the Seed; but, the other children are looking after him," Topsy explained.

"Oh dear; I hope he gets better soon; did he twist his ankle?" Grandma asked.

"Yep; Ducky and Petrie wrapped up his ankle; and I told them what to get," Topsy claimed.

Grandma and Grandpa smiled.

"Well; I better be heading back before Tria wonders where I am," Topsy added.

"See you tomorrow," Grandpa responded.

Topsy nodded and left for his nest.

The next day, Littlefoot managed to stand on all fours. His ankle was still weak; he was advised against running for at least a day; and that made him annoyed. However, he is now able to walk again. He and the gang went over to the Feeding Grounds for breakfast.

"I am so glad you are better-er," Ducky said.

"Me too, Ducky," Littlefoot claimed.

Grandma and Grandpa looked down at Littlefoot.

"Glad to see you're up and around," Grandma commented.

Littlefoot smiled.

"Me too; Cera's dad was a big help yesterday; along with the gang," Littlefoot replied.

Grandma smiled.

"He told us last night," Grandma explained.

Littlefoot was happy that everything was getting back to normal.

LBT Fanfiction / Gang Of Five Meets Sickness
« on: August 28, 2015, 11:52:15 PM »
At one end of the Great Valley, Littlefoot's friends were all wide awake and ready to eat. They noticed that Littlefoot was still lying down. Ducky decided to see what was taking Littlefoot so long. She walked up to him and noticed that his breathing was irregular and his head was all stuffed.

"Littlefoot; the others and I are ready to eat and play; yep, yep, yep," Ducky said happily.

Ducky was thrown off guard when Littlefoot started coughing. He covered his face just before letting out a sneeze.

"Excuse me," Littlefoot replied, all stuffed up.

"You do not sound or look so good; no, no, no," Ducky pointed out.

"What's taking so long?" Cera asked.

"I'm sick," Littlefoot replied.

"Yeah Cera; Littlefoot has a bad cough and a cold," Ducky said.

The other three hung their heads. Ducky turned her attention back to Littlefoot.

"Do you want something to eat?" Ducky asked.

The thought of food made Littlefoot's stomach do many twists and turns. He groaned and rubbed the side of his face.

"Oh I see; you are not well enough to eat," Ducky stated.

Littlefoot nodded.

"I am sorry you are sick; but, me Spike, Petrie and Cera are here for you, yep, yep, yep," Ducky claimed.

"Ducky right Littlefoot; you our bestest best friend," Petrie added.

Littlefoot smiled since he knew he had such good friends. Moments later, he began to shiver. Ducky noticed this and placed her hand on Littlefoot's head. She pulled her hand away after a moment.

"You are burning up; you are, you are," Ducky stated, in panic.

Ducky rushed out of the cave to alert the others.

"Help....Littlefoot....very sick," Ducky said rather fast.

"Calm down Ducky; take a deep breath and try to speak a bit slower," Cera said.

Ducky took a couple minutes to settle down.

"Littlefoot is very sick; he has a high fever; when I touched his head, it felt like I touched something on fire," Ducky stated.

"Ducky, go with Petrie and Spike and see if you can find some herbs; I'll keep an eye on Littlefoot," Cera commanded.

Once Ducky, Petrie and Spike left, Cera entered the cave to see if Littlefoot was okay. Littlefoot looked at Cera and smiled weakly.

"Cera," Littlefoot whispered.

The threehorn walked over to her sick friend.

"Shhh; don't try to talk; just rest; I sent the others to gather some herbs to help with your illness," Cera said.

Littlefoot smiled weakly and tried to sleep. Cera placed her paw on Littlefoot's head and jerked it back.

"Ow; Ducky was right," Cera whispered to herself.

Moments later, Cera came back with a wet treestar and placed it on Littlefoot's head. Then, she bent down and whispered in Littlefoot's ear.

"I'll be outside; if you need anything, call for me," Cera stated.

Littlefoot nodded. After that Cera left the cave. She noticed Ducky, Petrie and Spike coming back.

"We have some plants that will make Littlefoot feel, much, much, much, much betterer," Ducky said.

"If he no puke them up, first," Petrie muttered.

"What was that, Petrie?" Ducky asked.

"Me no say anything," Petrie defended himself.

"Good," Ducky stated.

Spike just grumbled in annoyance. Soon enough, the medicine plants were brought into the cave. Littlefoot opened his eyes and looked at the plants.

"What are these for?" Littlefoot asked.

"They are to help you cure that nasty cold of yours," Ducky said.

Littlefoot smiled.

"Let's just hope I don't puke them up first," Littlefoot said.

"That's the same thing I thought I heard Petrie say a few minutes ago," Cera replied.

Petrie nodded, ashamed.

"Me no mean offence by it," Petrie admitted.

Littlefoot looked over at Petrie.

"None taken, Petrie," Littlefoot claimed.

Moments later, Cera heard her dad calling for her. She left the cave only to be confronted by Topsy.

"What's going on here? Is somebody sick?" Topsy asked.

"Yes Dad; Littlefoot has caught a nasty cold; I don't think he'd want his grandparents catching it at their age; after all, Grandpa Longneck isn't one of the healthiest dinosaurs around despite being younger than Grandma Longneck," Cera explained.

Topsy nodded.

"Age doesn't matter when it comes to illnesses; you can get sick at any age," Topsy said.

"You're missing the point; some dinosaurs get sick easier than others; and some can even die just from a flu virus," Cera added.

Topsy nodded knowing that Cera was right.

"You're wise for your age; just like your mother," Topsy got choked up on the word mother.

Cera wasn't used to seeing her dad get emotional like that. She placed her paw on his and gave him a gentle smile. Topsy smiled back at her as his brief sad moment went away.

"Well anyway; I better tell the longnecks that Littlefoot is sick; but, I imagine they'd want some details of the illness," Topsy replied.

Cera nodded.

"Well; Littlefoot has a bad cough, fever and has experienced some nausea," Cera told him.

Topsy nodded.

"If the rest of you should notice those symptoms coming on; don't hesitate to ask for help," Topsy said.

The others nodded.

"Are you sure you're not running a fever, Dad? That doesn't sound like something you'd say," Cera wondered.

Topsy scoffed.

"Do you think I'd be up and about if I was running a fever? Get real Cera; Tria would have my head if she found out that I went out sick, if I was sick, which I am not," Topsy defended himself.

"Okay, just checking," Cera replied.

Topsy sighed.

Moments later, he heard Littlefoot coughing hard.

"Oh dear; that sounds really bad," Topsy said.

"Of course; don't tell me you've never had a bad cough in your life, Dad," Cera stated.

"Of course I did catch illnesses that involved a bad cough; but, that hasn't happened since I was ten," Topsy claimed.

Cera nodded.

"Well I'm off to tell the longnecks about Littlefoot; I'm sure they're worried sick about him; make sure you change out one wet treestar for another every once in a while; that way, his fever won't get higher," Topsy explained.

Cera nodded.

Meanwhile, Grandma and Grandpa Longneck were resting underneath the bright circle. Topsy came up to them with a worried expression on his face.

"You guys; I have something to tell you," Topsy said.

Grandma noticed the urgency in Topsy's tone of voice.

"What is it, dear? Calm down first and then tell us; we have all day," Grandma told him.

Topsy managed to settle down within minutes.

"Okay; Littlefoot has caught a nasty cold and has been experiencing a bad cough, fever and nausea," Topsy explained.

The elderly couple sighed.

"Oh dear; I hope he's okay," Grandma said.

"He'll be fine; Cera, Ducky, Petrie and Spike are looking after him; I told Cera that if she and the others start experiencing the described symptoms, that they should ask for help; but, Cera thought what I said was out of character and asked if I was ill; I told her that if I was, I wouldn't be up and about," Topsy explained.

Grandpa chuckled.

"I would ask you the same thing if I feel what you say is out of character," Grandpa admitted.

"So would I," Grandma added.

Topsy smiled.

Back at the cave, Littlefoot sat up and tried eating some of the herbs that were brought to him. Moments later, he started throwing them back up. Cera stood at his side to comfort him.

"Oh no, no, no; I better let Mr. Thicknose know; he might be able to help," Ducky said rather urgently.

As if on cue, Mr. Thicknose was in the area and walked over to a fairly large cave. Ducky rushed out to meet him.

"I am so glad you are here, Mr. Thicknose; we need you, Littlefoot is very sick," Ducky said.

The elder looked down at the worried swimmer and smiled gently.

"Don't worry Ducky; I'm sure I can think of how to help Littlefoot get better; all I need to know of are his symptoms and how long this has been going on," Mr. Thicknose commanded.

Ducky nodded.

"Okay; he has a very bad cough, a fever, has experienced nausea and just threw up; he has felt like this all morning," Ducky explained.

Mr. Thicknose nodded. Then he walked into the cave. The vomit was already cleaned up courtesy of Petrie even though the flyer was grossed out by it and nearly vomited himself.

"Ugh; that was gross; me glad me no get sick at that sight," Petrie said.

"Uh-huh," Spike said in agreement to Petrie's statement.

Mr. Thicknose walked over to Littlefoot. The sick longneck looked up at the elder, the treestar still on his head.

"Oh dear; you look as bad as Ducky said you feel," Mr. Thicknose stated.

Littlefoot nodded.

"Ugh; the medicine I took didn't stay down," Littlefoot said and then coughed while covering his mouth.

Mr. Thicknose briefly examined Littlefoot and nodded towards the others.

"His fever seems to be holding steady; just keep an eye on him for a few days and make sure he drinks lots of water," Mr. Thicknose instructed.

The others nodded.

"But there may be chance he puke up water, too," Petrie expressed his concern.

"Yes there is that chance; but, he should still keep on drinking to avoid dehydration," Mr. Thicknose stated.

Cera had something to say.

"My dad was here earlier and he told me to keep changing to a new treestar on Littlefoot's head every once in a while," Cera explained.

Mr. Thicknose nodded.

"Your dad is right, Cera," Mr. Thicknose stated.

"Are you sure you're not ill? It doesn't sound like you to say my dad is right," Cera responded.

"Thanks for your concern, Cera; but, I feel fine," Mr. Thicknose assured her.

Cera smiled.

Before Mr. Thicknose left, he had something else to say.

"Make sure he doesn't stay on his feet for too long; he also needs lots of rest," Mr. Thicknose added.

The others nodded.

Once Mr. Thicknose left, the kids saw Littlefoot moaning in pain.

"You gonna get sick again?" Petrie asked.

Littlefoot shook his head.

"Whew! Me hate cleaning vomit; nearly made me vomit," Petrie complained.

"I'm sorry; I couldn't help it," Littlefoot admitted with tears in his eyes.

Petrie felt really guilty now.

"Me no mean to make you cry; sorry," Petrie pleaded.

Littlefoot choked back a sob and dried his tears.

"That's okay, Petrie; it wasn't your fault," Littlefoot told him.

Petrie smiled knowing that Littlefoot wasn't mad at him.

Later that night, Littlefoot's condition stayed the same. He had been trying to drink water; but, hasn't been keeping it down. Every time he was about to throw up, he would rush out to some bushes so Petrie wouldn't have to clean it up. Cera had a hard time getting to sleep since she was very worried. She sat up and looked over at Littlefoot.

"Cera; Littlefoot will be okay; try to get some sleep," Ducky pleaded.

The young threehorn sighed.

"I'll try; but, that doesn't mean I'm not gonna worry," Cera replied.

"I understand, Cera; we all care about getting Littlefoot better," Ducky said, her hand patting Cera's paw.

Cera smiled at the reassurance she was getting from Ducky. After a moment, she finally got back to sleep. The next day, Littlefoot didn't seem to be much better; however, Cera started to feel sick. She looked over at Ducky with a pleading expression on her face.

"Could you ask Petrie to fly over and get Mr. Thicknose? I feel sick," Cera pleaded.

"Yes of course, Cera; Petrie! Please go get Mr. Thicknose for us; Cera is ill too," Ducky pleaded.

Petrie did as he was told and flew away. Cera felt a headache coming on and she was cold.

"How about you lie down with Littlefoot; he might want some company," Ducky suggested.

Cera nodded.

A while later, Petrie came back with Mr. Thicknose.

"Hi children; Petrie told me what happened; Littlefoot, how are you feeling?" Mr. Thicknose wondered.

Littlefoot looked at the elder and shrugged.

"Not much better?" Mr. Thicknose asked.

Littlefoot shook his head. Mr. Thicknose turned his attention to Cera. He briefly examined her and then frowned.

"You have the same illness as Littlefoot; is your stomach upset?" Mr. Thicknose wondered.

Cera nodded and coughed.

"Try to rest as much as possible and drink lots of water; or as much as you think you can keep down; I'll be back later to check on you," Mr. Thicknose instructed.

The kids nodded as Mr. Thicknose left the cave.

"This is awful; now we have two sick patients," Ducky stated.

Meanwhile at the Feeding Grounds, Topsy was eating breakfast. Mr. Thicknose came up to him.

"You got a minute, Topsy?" Mr. Thicknose wondered.

"What is it, Thicknose?" Topsy asked.

"That's Mr. Thicknose; as I was about to say; Cera has caught the same illness Littlefoot has," Mr. Thicknose explained.

Topsy hung his head. Cera seemed fine to him yesterday when he was talking to her.

"How did she get sick so fast?" Topsy wondered.

"You know how fast these viruses can spread; they're like wildfire," Mr. Thicknose stated.

Topsy nodded.

"Thanks for telling me," Topsy said.

Mr. Thicknose nodded.

Meanwhile at the cave, Cera and Littlefoot were snuggled up together for warmth. Ducky, Petrie and Spike did what they could to make them feel better.

Over the next few days, they seemed to be getting better. Although, they were pretty tired. Littlefoot and Cera managed to eat some treestars; their illness seemed to be clearing up since their nausea and fevers are gone. The others were glad that they survived a nasty bug.

"I am so glad you two are better; lets go back; I am sure the others are worried about you," Ducky said.

Littlefoot and Cera nodded.

Once the kids got to the Feeding Grounds, they were met up by their families and friends.

"How are you two feeling?" Grandma asked.

"Much better Grandma; we had Ducky, Petrie, Spike and Mr. Thicknose to thank," Littlefoot stated.

Mr. Thicknose chuckled.

"I was delighted to help, children," Mr. Thicknose said.

Everything seemed to return to normal since Littlefoot and Cera have recovered from their illness.

LBT Fanfiction / Journey Through The Mists: Alternate Ending
« on: June 19, 2015, 01:45:44 PM »
Things have been bad in the Great Valley. Although the kids got back from the Land of Mists with the Night Flowers; they didn't get them to Grandpa Longneck in time. The elderly male drew his last breath just after saying goodbye to his family. He is the second family member to die in front of Littlefoot. The young longneck ran off in the direction of the Thundering Falls. Tears were streaming down his face as he saw his grandpa dying over and over again in his head. Soon enough, Topsy looked over and saw that Littlefoot was crying. He may not be the greatest at comforting others; but, he would try his best. He wandered over to the young one.

"Hey; I heard your grandpa was sick," Topsy said.

Littlefoot nodded.

"He was; now he's not," Littlefoot grumbled.

Topsy was confused.

"What do you mean?" Topsy asked.

Littlefoot let out a shaky sob as more tears streamed down his face.

"He's dead! The others and I didn't get the cure to him in time; now, grandma, my nestmates and I would have to leave the Great Valley with the migrating longneck herd," Littlefoot sobbed.

It was now Topsy's turn to get upset. He may not have always gotten along with the elderly male; but, they were still good friends.

"I'm sorry for your loss; your grandfather was a very good leader; he shall be missed," Topsy replied.

Littlefoot nodded. He didn't expect Topsy to show sympathy towards any species other than his own.

Moments later, Grandma Longneck appeared over at the Thundering Falls. She was relieved that Littlefoot was safe.

"There you are; I was so worried about you," Grandma replied.

Topsy looked up at the bereaved female.

"I'm very sorry for your loss," Topsy told her.

The elderly female smiled weakly at Topsy's statement.

"Thank you Topsy; I just know he's reunited with my daughter in the Great Beyond," Grandma replied.

Littlefoot hung his head while the grown ups were talking. He didn't want to leave the Great Valley despite his promise to his grandpa. Grandma lowered her head to Littlefoot.

"I don't want to leave; it's not fair; Grandpa didn't deserve to die or to get sick," Littlefoot replied.

"I know Littlefoot; but, we promised to leave with the migrating herd," Grandma admitted, also not wanting to leave.

Littlefoot knew his grandma didn't want to leave either. Even Topsy was slightly saddened at that.

"Cera and the others will miss us; and I'll miss them too," Littlefoot admitted.

Grandma sighed; knowing that Littlefoot was right. They have other family members in the Great Valley to support them.

"I know we promised that we'd leave with our cousins; but, I'd miss this place too much; your grandpa would understand that we don't want to leave our friends behind," Grandma explained.

Littlefoot smiled knowing that they aren't going to leave the Great Valley.

Moments later, the rest of Littlefoot's family and friends arrived at the Thundering Falls. They saw that he and Grandma were still upset over Grandpa's death. Littlefoot's friends and siblings all hugged him; he was slightly cheered up by the warm embrace.

"Good news guys; we're staying in the Great Valley," Littlefoot claimed.

The other kids were happy to hear it; even though his grandpa died.

After a while, the longnecks went home, Cera and Topsy went back to their nest, Ducky and Spike went back to their nest, and the same goes for Petrie.

Soon enough; everyone went to sleep and hoped to put the sad day behind them.

This is a what-if one-shot. I always wondered what it would have been like if Grandpa Longneck died in the fourth film. Here is my interpretation. There are some OC's mentioned.

(don't worry; he's alive in my other stories, I was just exploring an alternate ending to a great movie)

LBT Fanfiction / After The Fire Is Gone
« on: June 18, 2015, 06:08:54 PM »
The fire in the Great Valley has finally been washed out by the water flowing from the Mysterious Beyond. All the vegetation is getting plentiful again. Due to recent events, Grandpa Longneck won't talk to Topsy until he apologizes for calling Littlefoot a bad influence. The threehorn stubbornly admitted that he needed to make things right with Littlefoot or his grandparents won't talk to him again. He wandered around and found Littlefoot drinking from the watering hole at the Thundering Falls.

"Littlefoot, could I talk to you for a few minutes?" Topsy asked.

The young longneck looked over at Topsy.

"I don't know; you might insult me again; Topsy," Littlefoot retorted.

Topsy hung his head; he felt like he deserved that remark.

"All right; I deserved that," Topsy admitted.

Littlefoot nodded.

"You sure did; I'm still upset about you calling me a bad influence in front of everybody," Littlefoot claimed.

"Look; I really am sorry. We were running out of water and I thought you were wasting it," Topsy admitted.

Littlefoot thought about this and nodded.

"I understand; you were only looking out for everybody; even though you're the most stubborn threehorn I ever met," Littlefoot explained.

Topsy nodded.

"Will you ever forgive me for calling you a bad influence?" Topsy wondered.

"Yeah; I was never one to hold a grudge," Littlefoot answered.

Topsy smiled. He was glad that Littlefoot has forgiven him for calling him a bad influence. Moments later, Grandma and Grandpa Longneck came by to see Littlefoot and Topsy having a decent conversation. They smiled since things are better between Littlefoot and Topsy. The threehorn gave Littlefoot a look that indicated that he wanted a few minutes alone with the elderly couple. Littlefoot nodded and left. Topsy turned towards the elderly couple with a guilty expression on his face.

"Listen you two; I still can't believe you saved my life even though I said that Littlefoot was a bad influence," Topsy admitted.

"I must admit that I was angry about it; but, that didn't mean I was going to let you and Cera die in that fire; you should know me better than that," Grandpa explained.

Topsy nodded.

"I was wrong about Littlefoot; he is not a bad influence and he forgave me for insulting him; do you forgive me?" Topsy wondered.

The elderly couple smiled.

"Of course we forgive you," Grandpa said.

Grandma nodded in agreement.

Topsy is happy that his friends had forgiven him for calling Littlefoot a bad influence.

LBT Fanfiction / The Land Before Time: A Friend in Need
« on: April 19, 2015, 03:13:28 PM »
It has only been weeks since the death of Littlefoot's mother. He and his friends and family all made a home in the Great Valley. Except, that Littlefoot isn't the same cheerful longneck he used to be when his mother was alive. Everyone tried to cheer him up; but to no avail. Topsy saw Littlefoot sitting alone at his own nest. Tears were forming in his eyes and he was hanging his head. Topsy walked over to the longneck to see if he could cheer him up.

"Littlefoot, are you okay?" Topsy asked.

The young longneck turned his head to face the threehorn.

"No I'm not; I miss my mom; she meant everything to me and now she's gone," Littlefoot said.

Littlefoot turned all the way around so his back wasn't facing Topsy.

"I know how you feel; Cera's mom and three of my children died that night too," Topsy admitted.

"I am so sorry; here I am crying about my loss when you lost more loved ones than I have," Littlefoot scolded himself.

"Don't apologize; it wasn't your fault and you have every right to cry over your loss," Topsy replied.

Littlefoot started sobbing. Topsy thought it was best to stay silent until Littlefoot let it all out. After a while, Littlefoot managed to calm down. He was still upset over his mother's death and Topsy could see it in his eyes. Littlefoot wiped away his tears with his paw.

"Do you feel better now?" Topsy asked.

Littlefoot nodded weakly.

"That's good; I'm sure your friends are waiting for you; how about you go meet them," Topsy suggested.

"Okay; you did cheer me up a bit; thanks," Littlefoot said, a small smile appeared on his face.

Topsy smiled.

"You're welcome," Topsy replied.

Littlefoot walked off to meet the others when Grandpa Longneck came by the nest.

"Oh; he sure looks happy again," Grandpa commented.

"Yeah; it turns out that he needed someone to talk to," Topsy responded.

The elderly longneck liked Topsy's change in attitude since he had first met Littlefoot.

"I'm glad you two managed to have a decent conversation," Grandpa said.

"Yeah; although, he did cry at one point; but, he was about to anyway," Topsy said.

Grandpa nodded.

"Well I'm glad he's in a better mood than he was earlier," Grandpa commented.

Topsy and Grandpa looked off into the distance and heard Littlefoot laughing; not just any laugh; this was a genuine laugh. They knew he'd be okay with the support of his friends and family.

One-shot!  Topsy/Littlefoot. Strictly friendship.

LBT Fanfiction / The Land Before Time: A New Generation
« on: March 19, 2015, 09:24:12 AM »
Littlefoot wandered aimlessly around the Great Valley. He met up with his best friend Cera at the Thundering Falls. The young adults both have something they needed to talk about.

"Littlefoot; I have something to confess," Cera said.

"I do too," Littlefoot replied.

Cera took a couple of deep breaths.

"Here goes, I love you," Cera said.

Littlefoot smiled warmly and nuzzled Cera.

"I love you too; you're the only one for me," Littlefoot said.

Cera smiled as she planted her lips onto Littlefoot's mouth. Littlefoot returned the kiss. He was glad that she felt the same way about him as he felt about her. They broke apart moments later.

"I guess that makes us boyfriend and girlfriend," Cera replied.

Littlefoot nodded and smiled.

He never had a girlfriend before; it was all new to him. Soon enough, they went back to their respective nesting spots. Littlefoot walked back and noticed that his grandpa was lazing around.

"Hi Grandpa," Littlefoot said.

"Hey Littlefoot; what's new?" Grandpa asked.

"I'm in love," Littlefoot said.

Grandpa wondered which girl Littlefoot has chosen as a girlfriend.

"With whom?" Grandpa asked.

Littlefoot took a couple of deep breaths and prepared himself in case his grandpa's reaction to the news was negative.

"Cera," Littlefoot answered.

Grandpa smiled. He knew that Littlefoot was so close with Cera ever since they arrived at the Great Valley.

"Your grandma would be proud of you," Grandpa said.

Grandpa lowered his head and let a few tears fall from his eyes. He was heartbroken after the death of his wife only a day ago. She had the same illness that Grandpa caught back when Littlefoot was only 7. Grandpa felt bad since he could have done something; but, there wouldn't have been enough time to gather Night Flowers from the Land of Mists and bring them back to cure her.

"At least she's with Mom; and she's not in pain anymore; and she'll forever be in our hearts; just like Mom," Littlefoot said.

Grandpa smiled weakly and wiped the tears away with his paw.

"I really needed to hear that; thanks Littlefoot," Grandpa said.

Littlefoot nuzzled the side of his grandpa's face with his head.

Meanwhile, Cera returned to her nest to talk to her dad, step-mom, sisters, niece and nephew.

"Guys; I have something to tell you," Cera said.

Topsy came to a conclusion.

"You're in love with Littlefoot and he is your boyfriend," Topsy guessed.

Cera was shocked.

"How did you know?" Cera asked.

Topsy chuckled.

"It's obvious; I've seen you two together and you get all giggly whenever you think about him," Topsy said.

Tria wasn't any less surprised by the news. Diana, Tricia and the twins nodded their heads.

"So; if there are any objections; talk to the tail; because I'm all grown up and can choose whomever I want to love," Cera replied.

Dinah and Dana laughed; they thought the talk to the tail remark was hilarious. Tria, Tricia and Diana didn't seem to have any objections; it all went down to Topsy. Would he disapprove of Littlefoot and Cera's love? She had no way of knowing what he is thinking. After a moment of silence, Topsy started speaking.

"If you love each other that much; we hope you two will be happy together," Topsy replied.

Cera started grinning from ear to ear. Soon enough, Littlefoot and his family met up with Cera and her family. Topsy noticed the sad look in Grandpa's eyes.

"Oh Longneck; I know how you feel; losing a loved one can be heartbreaking; you were there for me when my first wife died and I can be there for you since you lost your wife; that's what friends are for," Topsy said.

Grandpa smiled weakly and nodded at the threehorn.

"Yes; on a happier note; Littlefoot and Cera have fallen in love and are a couple," Grandpa said.

"Yeah; I guessed what Cera was going to say before she even said it," Topsy replied.

Soon enough, Littlefoot and Cera decided to tell the rest of their friends the news.

This is the first chapter of my first LittlefootXCera story; I really love this pairing. It may not be canon, but, who cares? It's fanfiction. I also added extra characters; blood related siblings for Littlefoot, along with them having their own kids, an OC mom (Diana) for Dinah and Dana; extended family for Topsy. More characters will arrive sometime in the story; sorry Grandma Longneck fans; she isn't shown in this story since she has died. However, she will be referenced more than Littlefoot's mother ever was in the series.
