I've rented Tom Clancy's End War several days ago, and I love it. The best part is being able to command your armies with your voice headset. Here I'll post how WWIII is going for me. I have joined the good 'ol USA.

Day 1

I have defended Washington D.C. from invading Russian forces. The battle lasted for about half an hour. When I captured more than half of the uplinks on the map, those darn Russians dropped a Fuel Air Bomb on one of them, but I retalliated with a Kinetic Strike on one of their own, and I crashed another one. Later on the same thing happened, so now there were no uplinks to capture; it came down to getting the other side elimated before they could. BUT I CAME OUT ON TOP!

Day 2
The next day, I saw that the U.S. territory "Grissom" was under attack from Russians (Persistant, aren't they?). I moved transports with riflemen and engineers to the closest uplinks as quickly as I could. Occassionally, the enemy would offload artillary to hammer my positions, but I hit them with a combo of attack helocopters and air strikes. By the time I got <.5 of the uplinks I needed to win, (you guessed it) they launced a WMD on Lima Uplink; but I hit them with a WMD on Yankee Uplink. I then secured more uplinks and repelled the Russian advance.

Later tonight, I will launch an attack on a European position in Spain. Wish me luck.

Wow, I heard Tom Clancy games are tough. I've watched them being played and they are way out of my league, although it is fun to see others play them. I can't seem to remember, but wasn't there a Tom Clancy game where there was a bad guy with a hostage or something in a casino in Los Vegas or something? I heard that was a really hard game. Shooting is not my strongpoint in games since I've always preferred swords and staffs- they're easier. Since you're good at shooting games, especially Tom Clancy, you must be quite the gamer and I'll check back here frequently for updates on your progress. I wish you the best of luck in Spain. May the force of your guns be with you.

Day 3

I have successfully taken Spain from the Euros. And the funny thing was that both battles (on the two territories they were in) lasted for about 7-9 minutes each. Basically, I wiped out the enemy first. But near the end of the second battle, the Euros launched a High Energy Laser WMD on my forces at Uplink Delta; fortunetly, my helocopters were out of range of the blast, and they finished off the enemy tanks, and won the battle.

Now I plan on continuing my advance into Europe by attacking an enemy air base and making it mine. We're one step closer to their capitol, Paris.

Meanwhile on the Eastern Europe front, our forces have secured an air field from the Russians.

Here's how it is; we need at least 28 territories to win the war. And:

United States: 18
Europe: 11
Russia: 9
