Its believed that Nintendo's 3DS will be using this same method for its 3D.

That's pretty impressive. Obviously, VR head tracking hardware and applications aren't new tech but it's cool to see it being implemented using a currently released console. I truly reckon that VR will be the next evolutionary step for VGs but as of yet the tech is just far too expensive for a home market. Maybe this demo will give a valuable insight into what may soon be achieved in the near future.

It does look very interesting indeed.  It may effect not just video games, but maybe more media someday.

Looks similar to TrackIR? Available for PC for ages.
