I don't think a lot of people will really remember me aside from the RP members. I've had a bit of an upset in my life and found myself feeling nostalgic for old times, so I checked out here again, because this was always one of those rare nice corners of the internet.

So, I'm back. Not sure what else to say/do.

Any other fans of this manga turned anime series on here? Or maybe you've heard the "Muda muda muda" and "Wrrrryyyyy!" and wonder where they came from? (Hint: it starts with a 'J'.)

I'm going to be in Ohio for my first ever My Little Pony convention come the 27th of September.

Just letting everyone know so they're prepared for me disappearing for a while and on the off chance that someone on here might also be attending the con.

So I'm pretty sure a lot of us have worked at a job at sometime or another and chances are you had someone in charge of what you did, right? Well, it often seems like your boss is only there to kick up their feet on their desk, boss you around, and then shout some when production drops or you're 1 minute late coming back from break.

But this topic ain't about those people. Basically I'd like to hear some stories about bosses, leaders, or authority figures who have made the job easier for their employees and maybe even inspired them in their daily lives.

Obviously, I'm gonna go first since this is MY topic. I worked at a theme park this year for summer. Still am working there at the time of this post as a matter of fact and my area manager's left to go back to college.

I've never really liked managers. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they're all lazy beatniks who are just waiting to catch you doing something wrong, but I never really connected with any of them.

This guy I'm gonna miss though. We pretty much all started the job together and learned as we went. We sucked the first few weeks, but we got our act together and even made team of the week.  

He was sensitive to the needs of the team and was often walking around our area. I talked to him probably more than most of the other employees and he always made time to listen to my rambling on about my writing projects. I kind of wish I'd asked him a few questions and gotten to know him better...

He really appreciated all the extra hours I put in, even if I myself wasn't too keen on all the extra work I'd unwittingly gotten myself stuck doing. I kinda wish I hadn't been quite so resitant all those times now.

Anyway, that's my example. A guy who took a bunch of strangers just together for a summer job and turned 'em into a family of coworkers. The entire team's going to miss him and well we should.

(Between the Worlds)

The mouse sat behind the controls of his ship. A vast lightshow of color flashed outside the window in front of him. The glow might have been blinding where it not for the tinting of the glass-like gummi.

Mickey wore his normal wardrobe which consisted of a red shirt and phants. A pair of large yellow shoes covered his feet. White gloves covered his hands as they removed the wrapper from a piece of sea-salt ice cream.

He licked the cold blue treat and mmm'ed. He glanced back at the empty compartment of his ship. The mouse desparately wished he could have brought someone along, but Donald and Goofy were needed to gaurd the castle and it was too dangerous for Minnie to come.

With a resigned sigh, he glanced at the coordinates displayed on the screen built into the panel in front of him. It would be a few more minutes before he arrived at his next destination.

(Radient Garden)

A frown hung on Raven's face as he walked down the stone street. This world had been bright and new when he first arrived, but like everything it lost its lusture after he learned about it.

He passed by the wall that had been torn apart during the battle against an organization of Nobdies. There were no physical remains of the destruction that day had wrought. The Restoration Committee had gone their job quite well.

Ascending the steps two at a time, he entered the outskirts of the town. He glanced down at the small wooden buildings below. Though he found it hard to think of them as buildings, the mighty fortresses and castles in his world made them look like piles of firewood.

Raven hopped onto a thick railing of stone and inhaled, pulling in the cool morning air. He sighed, the air at least reminded him a bit of home. With a skip forward, he dropped from the railing and down amongst the buildings.

I took this from some other RP forums that I hang around in. Basically you post a song that fits your character, or another person's character if you wish. You could also post themes for canon characters if you wish. You could also post songs for groups of characters, or to describe a certain stage of your character's life. There's really no set rules, so just have fun.

Hey.  So I'm new here and I'm so supposed to introduce myself...

Okay, well, when I was younger, I was a huge Land Before Time fan, but for some reason eventually stopped watching it. I saw an episode from the TV series a while ago and I wandered about how the franchise was doing, but never bothered to check.

Then while browsing youtube, I came across some LBT music videos and was soon hooked again. I re-watched the first movie and have watched a few episodes of the series. I have about five of the sequals, but haven't watched them in a longtime.

My hobbies are writing, video gaming, and watching TV.
