Oh!  And I know this was a couple days ago someone brought this up about Australia having a large percentage of LBT fans.  Turns out, my Australian friend, Jake is an LBT fan and I didn't even know it!  :lol  I showed him the GOF and I might be able to get him to join.  ;)

Ruby.. that's it. Cera's half-sister. I imagine that this is correct. She's even colored in a ruby-like hue. Keep in mind that I haven't seen the twelth movie, and I could still be wrong. Oh, I didn't expect to see the egg hatch until nearly the end of the movie.

(NOTE: Since I wrote this, my Ruby thesis has been disproved.)

According to this webpage the British release is scheduled for March 26th 2007.
Usually the British release is some weeks before any other European release, so all we can do is wait... wait... wait... and perhaps take comfort in the fact that everyone of us knows that he or she is not the only one

I've heard nothing of the #13. Where can I find some info?

I found the release date for the U.S.

According to amazon.com, the movie is coming out on February 27th.

Hopefully this is accurate.

There is no info whatsoever about the title or the content yet. There is official information about the release date on Aria's webpage
Aria's webpage. In her Resume she is listed for the lead voiceover roles of "The Land Before Time 5-13   Lead (Ducky) - MCA Universal".
The first reference to LBT 13 on this board can be found here.

*allows his skepticism to take control once more* Pretty sketchy so far. I'll believe that there'll be a LBT13 when we actually see some progress, then. Not saying there won't be one, but I've seen projects in such an early stage cancelled many a time.

P.S.: Yes, I know I'm being a party pooper. I don't mean to, though.

You are very welcome to be sceptic about it. For once we are very similar; I am myself prone to doubt anything until given solid proof (which is part of a historian's work).  :)
The information on LBT 13 being greenlit is good enough for me however, as I received confirmation in a direct mail mentioned in one of the threads. I have absolutely no reason to doubt the authencity of the information.

OK...rumour buster. That baby triceratops is NOT Ruby. I can see where the assumption comes from (I mean it's an educated guess) but that's not Ruby. Ruby is in the LBT series who the gang happen to meet not LBT 12. Unfortunately, without sound like a spoil sport, there is only a limited amount I'm allowed to say about LBT 12. I made a promise to certain people not to go overboard with letting out info on the new LBT releases. Sadly, I don't know Cera's half-sister's name (funnily enough, that was a question I didn't think of asking).

Well, I dunno if this has been said already, but #13 is well into the production phases. The pre-production is all done, storyboarding, concept art, script, songs etc. Voice overs are being done as we speak (maybe not RIGHT this second but you can see what I mean  :DD ) the regular cast involved as always ;) and art production is well underway. As far as I know, no major amount of raw footage has been finalised but LBT #13 is on the go! :DD It's still the early(ish) stages of the production so don't expect any sources, release dates, pictures etc for a while yet but it looks like it should be ready for around 2008.

Oh dang. Well, at least she's Cera's half-sister. At least I'm partly correct. Note that by "she", I'm referring to the "27-minute mark" child (Tria's hatchling who's name is still unknown to me, but is NOT Ruby.)

I guess there can be no more speculation on  when this is coming to the U.S.  I just found Universal's pre-order page, and it states that the release date is the end of February.  Here's the link:

Good point, Malte. I don't doubt that there will be a LBT13, persay, but LBT just doesn't have the popularity it used to. But if the show does well enough, Universal just may focus the resources they've set aside for LBT on that.

There is a Land Before TIme 13, it being made when Me and Littlefoot-1616 was down there, they had story boards for it up all along a wall, well two of them. So there is a chance it will be out in the next coming year or two. BUt why LBT 12 coming out 2 months in USA after the Down Under. I am very surprised.

A friend of mine from Australia told me that indeed LBT 12 is being sold over there. So the considerably earlier Australian release is not a mere rumor.

Hey guys.  I just found out when Cartoon Network is first broadcasting the movie.  It is going to be shown on Sunday, February 25th at 9:00 am and February 27th at 10:00 am.  I inputed a random zip code, and found confirmation.  Here it is:

TV Guide

At least we can see it a couple of days before it comes out on dvd here in the us.

This is strange.
Why on earth do they show the movie on TV before selling the DvD? Won't they loose money that way or are they simply not expecting to gain much from the selling of the DvD anyway?
