For the last few years, I've been expecting the change of focus from graphics to other things. Graphics have gotten to the point that they are good enough for most people, and pushing hardware these days is WAY too expensive. Recently, I've seen AAA games that cost tens of millions of dollars bomb and development studios closing left and right.

Things may be very different in the future. There is already change as many have seen. I hope most of it is for the better.
