Time Gate X: Red Dust

Thought I'd now make an official thread for this story. I've decided to post it up on FF.net, respecting my old story's origins. I've decided to make a few changes, including cutting the self-insert character out in place of the old story's mentor at a young age, Albrecht (or Al). I plan on keeping it in a short novelette format, around seven to ten chapters or at least kept within the range between 8,000 words and less than 19,000.

Here's a link to the story on FF.net, I'm sure Serris will especially be glad that I've decided to bring back the idea, despite it being only a brief reduction to only the Mars plot. I decided that after writing his story and giving it a proper completion, I'll be putting it behind me and continuing onward with my more original works.

I will leave a deeper review on FF.net maybe tomorrow but I will tell you right now that it is too short a first chapter.

I do agree on that... I just linked together the first and second chapters to make it longer.

I like the way this is going and as I said, I will "deep review" both chapters tomorrow.

And yes, I am glad that this has been bought back... even if it is reduced.

Well, I know I already replied to your review of the first chapter, but I'll say it on here. Thanks for the advice. I guess my fiction writing skills have rusted quite a bit... I took those tips into account for my other chapters as well.

Good to see you revamping your Time Gate fanfic Cyberlizard! It was a shame you ditched your previous one when you did. Will have to look your fanfic up when I've got the time. I'm sure it will be just as good as your last one

Good to know you're interested in this version of it, LF1616. ^..^ It's just a short project for me to help polish my rusty writing skills for my original work. And though it'll only include the Mars story arc, I'll be striving to make this short stretch a good one!
