Hello.  As some of you know, I like to create music videos.  They're usually okay, but I am always lacking good songs.  I randomly browse clients computers that they bring into my repair shop, but I've been getting nowhere lately.  After listening to over 700 dud songs on a clients computer, I've given up.  I can't handle any more profanity! :lol

I am not a music listener, but I am an LBT enthusiast so I like creating music videos.  Any help in suggesting a good song would be greatly appreciated.  Searching around 20 year old college students broken computers isn't getting me very far. So, any decent songs that arn't about sex, drugs, money, fast cars, and stealing that you can think of?  I certanily can't find any where I'm looking. -_-

Hmm... since I'm an oldies fan, I'm going to suggest mabey looking into that genre, like Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In (5th Dimension) or Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head (B. J. Thomas).

The 60s weren't kind to a lot of artists. :p :p

One that might apply to LBT (not sure which character, Thicknose perhaps) would be "Still" by Ben Folds.  You've already seen me match "Sara" from Starship to Cera. :p

Ooooh what does that mean? I'm not going to pretend to know a lot about the 60s or the history behind some of the oldies, but I find it to be some of my most favorite music to just casually listen to. I like how some of the songs sound, as well as the lyrics, and I think some of them would do good in an LBT music video.

I sorta need song names, not generas.  That's a really broad range of music, I'm afraid.  I'll look around limewire (even though I despise it) to see if I can find anything.  I'm afraid that college students usually have some sort of punk rock or inappropriate songs on their computers.  Not exactly what I could apply to LBT.

Drug years...lots of artists were doped up.  Even the fab four.

I like what I like. :p I didn't even notice that is was "pop" (or that there was a difference at all). Besides, I think he's looking for songs with good music and lyrics, because he needs them for music videos. Would the original score for the first movie fit that bill? I'm sure you know the answer.

Try using "The Prayer" sung by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. Very lovely song. It would probobly best for the original, as the song gives an idea of what a world of peace would be, and the first movie involves looking for a peaceful home. (It has itallian lyrics, but it goes beautifully with the music)

I'll check these out asap as soon as I've got my master computer fixed. ;)  My new music vid making program requires 3.6ghz and 2gb ram along with 200gb hard disk space just for scratch use!  I'll have to wait until I get the master fixed cuz I only wanna do music vids on one of my computers. B)

I have tons of instrumental stuff. 1.96 GB worth, actually! I find 'Get Out Alive' by Three Days Grace to be a good song.

Speaking of which, would instrumentals work for you, landbeforetimelover? They ARE music videos, after all....

Yo!  Well...I thought about your need for songs, and I think another good one could maybe be "Sanctuary" or "Passion" (same song in Japanese) by Utada Hikaru.  Great Songs...

Also good might be... :slap just forgot what I was gonna say...
